“I want to give a huge shoutout to Joey and Lucy!! ! My husband just started shopping for Instacart and was still learning the ropes. He got a large order right before closing and was feeling really stressed trying to find everything in a store he’d never been to before. Joey noticed he was struggling and went above and beyond to help — he guided him through the aisles, helped him find every item, and even stayed a little late to make sure the order was complete. Lucy helped with the check out process, and was so kind and helpful also! They turned what could’ve been a really stressful situation into such a positive experience. The place has awesome customer service, great food, clean friendly area and very affordable. Came on a Tuesday and had some steak tacos for $1.50. It was amazing.”

“I used to shop at the Dollar General in Winterville, as it’s right up the road from me. One of the managers, I believe her name is Nancy, has always provided excellent customer service to myself and anyone that walks through the door! I recently found out she moved store locations. Even though it’s out of my way to shop at, because of the way she ran the store and made me feel welcomed and appreciated each trip, I will now shop here in Hull. Great employees don’t get the recognition like they should, so I’m taking my time to thank Dollar General for this WONDERFUL employee!”

“Honestly I love this DG. Really it’s the memories I love. One time we stopped in to get some movie snacks, and we witnessed a robbery of some Little Debbie snacks. The police showed up to investigate and the guy behind the counter re-enacted the scene for us. The robber got away on bicycle with his haul, and we made memories to last a lifetime.”

Other DG employees from other stores in a 30 mile radius either direction,needs to go in here and take note at what a Dollar General needs to strive towards. No lazy workers here!!!!”
