“This is a nice lovely clean market. I was surprised that I found everything that I needed without having to go to a larger store. Everything was pricey, but what isn't in hawaii... lol... I'm sure I could have gotten cheaper prices if I'd driven farther, but I was pleased with the selection. They allowed us to have a nice wine selection as well as alcohol.”

When you see all locals shopping there, you know you hit the jackpot. The bad reviews are from tourists who expect mainland style products. This is much better than the tourist traps!!”

“We found this place heading back to Kapa'a after hiking in the Hawaian Grand Canyon. We worked up an appetite, yes we did, and were hankering for some legit Kauai food. We almost passed it up because of road construction RIGHT IN FRONT of their place! Persevere to find parking like we did, you won't regret it. We both had the Seafood Wrap. Various fresh, cooked seafood and fresh lettuce (or spinach?) and cucumbers along with warm chips and a delicious salsa. We loved the food, the staff was so courteous, and the simple decor was relaxing. Oh, and one wall is filled with lovely art work. Well done, who ever owns this place. ?”

“For about $12 you can grab a really tasty bowl of poke they make on the spot in the front. They have fresh poke in the back for $29.99/ lb or previously frozen poke for $9.99/ lb. I personally really enjoyed the variety of stuff they had in the $12 bowls of poke. If you need something cheap and quick, they also have $3 spam musubi in the front and Nathans hot dogs for just $1.50 each”

“This Safeway is awesome! Open 24/7! It’s clean, affordable and lots Of great grab and go food items. Prices are reasonable also. In the evening the Poke goes on sale 50% off and they were nice sized portions. This is really the place to go if you’re trying to eat healthy on vacation.”
