“I had ordered a bunch of items online with Home Depot, Store 1702 in Pearl City, HI. I got the emails and text messages telling me that my order was ready for pickup. When I first arrived in parked in the "Curbside Pickup" area, I was approached and asked for my order number and ID. When they found out that I had a lot of items to pickup and some of these items were very large, they asked me to pull up to the PRO area and see one of their employees in that section. I was approached by an employee, Denny Whitworth. He was very polite and asked if I needed help. I explained to him that I was there to pick up an order. He explained to me that the concrete that I was picking up was very heavy and didn't think my Toyota truck would be able to carry the entire order in one trip. He hand-carried the 80# bags of concrete and loaded them one at a time onto my truck bed. We took about 15 bags on the first trip and the truck struggled with that. When I returned the same day, he hand-carried another 19 (80# bags) into my truck. Each time I came back, he was there with a smile and helped me each time with the greatest customer service. He works hard and quick. He's very attentive and goes the extra mile by really helping out the customers. He's a great employee and you guys should see about making him a manager. He's a hard worker, very polite and you can tell he's smiling under his mask (COVID-19). Awesome guy and I'll be sure to tell him "howzit" each time I come to this store. Great work etiquette...”

“8/8/22 Been looking for electrical conduit tape all over the place...this is the fourth place to be exact as we are laying an electrical line and the building inspector said we needed to add this to warn anyone should we need to dig it up, people are aware. Hubster called and they had it!! Located in the Mapunapuna area, this was easy for us to get to. I'm not an electrical expert, but they did have a lot of things that you won't obviously find in a Loewes or Home Depot. Shelves aren't stocked...but that's the reality for ALOT of businesses nowadays due to shipping issues. This place was worth the trip! Customer service was great. Employee spent quite a few minutes answering questions as we did not want to drive there and them not have it, When we walked in they were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”

“Rainbow State Paint is a long drive for us, but it is worth the trip because they have people like Dan there that know and have actually used their products. Dan spent a good bit of time with me on the phone to be sure we got the right product for our job. Try calling the Home Depot paint folks to see if one primer will sand better than another, or is actually in stock...We drive past 3 Sherwin Williams stores to get to RSP.Last visit, I learned that RSP keeps files on every order you've ever placed including an actual paint sample of what you bought. Dan pulled our file from 5 years ago just to be sure we got the same tint, then he tinted our primer to improve cover by the topcoat, showed us (all 4) color matches, and boxed up our order for the long drive back.Exceptional service.Also, BM "Advance" trim paint lays out as slick as anything I've ever seen.Aloha”
“Home Depot has became our Black Friday tradition. It started decades ago when I noticed the poinsettias were so cheap that I could afford to buy one for each relatives gravesite. I remember initially buying less than half a dozen, now we need 17. When the kids were born, I brought them along for Black Friday. Popo (grandma) at one point joined us. It has evolved into a family tradition. Popo has difficulty walking now so we sit her in a non-congested aisle. Then her grandchildren hunts for the best poinsettias and brings them to her. Popo selects 17 of the best ones. Afterwards, the "poinsettia hunters" is treated to breakfast. Popo will nurture these poinsettias until her "retired poinsettia hunters" returns home for their winter break. She looks forward to visiting all the graves with her entire family. We spend one day convoying from one graveyard to another, ending with another great meal as a family. We have no photos of this Black Friday tradition so we made a point of taking one. Later we noticed a Home Depot employee photo bombed us. How apropos. In the background Home Depot employees have made this tradition special for over two decades. Thank you Home Depot employees. Thank you for greeting us and making us feel welcomed. Thank you for being pleasant even when you're busy. Keep up the good job and your HUMOR. Happy Holidays.”
“Got great deals, even got a discount on a damaged plant I wanted but didn't want to pay the full price just in case it didn't make it. They also reminded me to keep the receipt and I can bring the plant back for a return if it died. I love Home Depot. The store is great and the employees are even better. My favorite adult toy store. “I don't know what happened to my review November 2023. Walking in the aisle with the Dog in the shopping cart. Sporadic Acute Episodes occurred, I was falling backwards, I went unconscious due to being Dehydrated. 2017 Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease, in January to December 2017, Sporadic Acute Episodes occurred, my knee or knees would Buckle and collapse, on Patrol for Securita's Clients. In December 2017, the Doctor Confirmed Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. A Neurological and Muscular Disorder, that's considered a Disability. May 1, 2024, Sporadic Acute Episodes, the Right side of my Spine felt like an Object was Thrusting at my Back; All Day. 24/7, Pain All over my body, appears to be the Nerves Systems Disorder. Pain Tingling Numb in my Toes, Foot, Hand, Back, Neck, Head. In May 2024, the Primary Care Physician, referred me to the Pain Clinic. June 2024, will get the consultation the Doctor said the Therapeutic Treatments is Acupuncture and ?Injection. May 2024, returned to Hardware HI Mapunapuna, thank Francis and Liza for his Kindness. And provided information regarding my Health Conditions, requires 8 cups of water daily. When the Spine Pads are worn and missing, Hydration and Vitamin D3 is Depleted. Maka'ala, Ho'onani Ke Akua.? ...”

Whenever I need to do something around the house, and need some sort of hardware supplies, I normally like to give my business to a local company, as we should help local businesses stay afloat, as they provide jobs & support within the local community. City Mill is my hardware store of choice! Now don't get me wrong..........I do shop at Home Depot & Lowes at times when I am looking for something that City Mill doesn't carry, or if I am on da cheap where I wanna save a few bucks! Lol! I was working in Ewa Beach this past week, and I remembered I needed to buy something, as I was fixing something on our garage. Luckily, City Mill was in the same shopping complex on where I was working, so I decided to pop on in to check it out! Located at the Laulani Village Shopping Center, you'll find City Mill towards the opposite end of the mall (from Safeway) as the store is just next door from Petco. Like any hardware store, you'll probably find whatever you need here for home improvement, and I even saw that they carried some pet supply items, too! Got what I came here for, and I even noticed their prices for the item I was looking for was even cheaper (lower) than Home Depot, or Walmart! Shop local, and support local whenever you can my friends!”
