“I was in a serious jam and Gary really came through for me! My truck blew a break line and fluid was shooting out all over the place. I called a few shops looking for help and no one could get me in on short notice. I called Big Island Break and Front End Repair first thing in the morning and Gary said if I could get the truck there he would see what he could do. It turned out to be a bigger problem than I thought. Gary explained the problem thoroughly and showed me where the issue was. He did the repair that same day and I was able to get back to work. I was charged a fair price too. Great experience and I would absolutely go back to this shop. Big mahalo to Gary and the guys!”

“READ THIS!! OK I brought my car into the Honda dealership for an oil change and to check a slowly leaking tire. Honda Dealership completely assured me the tire was unrepairable and said a new tire with mount would cost about $300.
I called K&J for an estimate for a brand new tire at $170 mounted. I thought well that’s much cheaper.
I casually mentioned to them that the dealership said it was unrepairable and should I at least have them look at it to make sure? Well guess what….it was repairable and they fixed it $30 total.
Now they could’ve sold me the tire without saying anything, but they did not. This is the kind of local service in Hilo you can’t get from a corporate entity like Honda dealerships.
I’m 99.9% sure this is the cheapest and most affordable place in town aside from the fact that they’re really just honest humans in the circumstance.”
“Farmer John. These guys are Awesome. Had a beat up old Yanmar starter , special configuration . Thought it might be “We’ll need to order parts”. But they had it looking new in a few hours from drop off. Tractor fired up like a happy lion, running like new!

“We absolutely are in love with our new '22 Pathfinder. This dealership is amazing and they were so patient with me and my family. First of all, Kevin, the salesman was so relatable and made the experience fun. Great since of humor and so personable. The entire team was checking on us and offering us snacks. The Finance Manager, Ashley, was also fabulous. When is came to signing and warranty coverage, she whipped out coloring books and crayons so fast so that I could focus while the kids played. She helped me get an amazing interest rate AND saved me a good chunk on hooking me in with a new insurance policy on both our cars! Ezra, the Driving Specialist was so fun as well! He was so informative, showed me all the bells and whistles. Answered all the questions I had, made my family feel special and gave us double Shakas on our drive out! Felt like family. “I’d like to thank Johnathan, Lance who since transferred, and Reggie for helping me through getting a part through LKQ to O’Reilly’s Hilo. Very cost effective considering my $800 quoted part at Chevrolet costed less than $200. No shipping costs, just a longer wait time because it came snail mail (a big bumper cover). But, considering the part was not supported by Amazon to this zip code, it was well worth the wait. The O’reilly’s team came through for me. Thank you!”

The experience from first contacting them was a relief, after being told by another shop would be months longer to bring it in. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and understanding. William was very diligent in keeping me well informed on timing and the details. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was blown away by the quality of the repair and returning it back even better than before. Our blue sapphire Honda CRV was glistening like the gem she was created to be - no kidding! The attention to detail was superb and when I thanked the shop manager, he was personally handling the final finish of another lucky customer to be sure it was done right. A superb team and quality leadership. Well done. Our entire family- 92 and 87 year old Moms and my husband and I were delighted with the results.
