Nurseries & Gardening in Honolulu, HI

“I’ve been coming here for years, ever since I discovered them at the Pacific Orchid Expo in San Francisco. They have an impressive selection of orchids, including plenty of mature plants that are ready to make a beautiful addition to any collection.

The customer service is excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help, whether you’re looking for something specific, need advice on caring for a plant, or have questions about shipping. That level of service really makes the experience enjoyable and keeps me coming back.

One of the biggest advantages for visitors to Hawaii is that you can make arrangements to have your orchids shipped home, so you don’t have to navigate the agricultural permit requirements yourself. It makes bringing a little piece of Hawaii’s orchid culture home much easier.

The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and selection. Whether you’re a seasoned orchid collector or just starting out, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. It’s well worth the visit for any orchid enthusiast!”

“Had the greatest time finding this place so beautiful they sell what they grow. Their micro greens are fabulous edible flowers as well as air plants a beautiful Nursery shop abundance of things to purchase from handcrafts to trees and all kinds of plants in between family owned business very generous, very beautiful people went on a tour that was very very educational. Would recommend this to include in your visit when you go to Oahu.”

“My favorite Home Depot on Oahu because it is not crowded and not on a busy street with a Costco and a Costco gas station. One can park quickly, get what you need and get going without having to deal with the crazy traffic.
Staff is more available and what they don’t have they will order. It’s probably quicker to come here even if it means driving an extra 10 miles as long as H1 isn’t jammed up.”

“Home Depot has became our Black Friday tradition. It started decades ago when I noticed the poinsettias were so cheap that I could afford to buy one for each relatives gravesite. I remember initially buying less than half a dozen, now we need 17. When the kids were born, I brought them along for Black Friday. Popo (grandma) at one point joined us. It has evolved into a family tradition. Popo has difficulty walking now so we sit her in a non-congested aisle. Then her grandchildren hunts for the best poinsettias and brings them to her. Popo selects 17 of the best ones. Afterwards, the "poinsettia hunters" is treated to breakfast. Popo will nurture these poinsettias until her "retired poinsettia hunters" returns home for their winter break. She looks forward to visiting all the graves with her entire family. We spend one day convoying from one graveyard to another, ending with another great meal as a family. We have no photos of this Black Friday tradition so we made a point of taking one. Later we noticed a Home Depot employee photo bombed us. How apropos. In the background Home Depot employees have made this tradition special for over two decades. Thank you Home Depot employees. Thank you for greeting us and making us feel welcomed. Thank you for being pleasant even when you're busy. Keep up the good job and your HUMOR. Happy Holidays.”

“Had a great experience with the staff and service at this rental center. The guys behind the counter were super respectful and conscientious of my time. I was able to rent a moving van within 15 minutes with no complications or over charges, I will definitely be using Home Depot's Rental services again in the future.”
