The Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is a hotel in an amazing and beautiful location directly on Waikiki beach, with convenient access to the sand. The rooms are described as lovely, gorgeous, amazing, clean, comfortable, and spacious, some offering great ocean views from a balcony. The staff are consistently noted as super friendly, helpful, nice, and providing amazing service. The location is a major highlight, being extremely good and close to Kalākaua Avenue. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, attractions, and malls, and is next to the Hawaii Army Museum. The pool area is gorgeous, and the hotel offers many activities. The on-site beach is noted as barely used. Feedback includes that the Wi-Fi can be spotty. Dining experiences vary; the poolside restaurant is great for lunch and brunch appetizers, while the Monkeypod restaurant and limited breakfast voucher choices received mixed reviews. A nearby steak shack is highly recommended. The hotel is presented as a great hotel alternative, not an all-inclusive resort.
We stayed here 2 weeks ago. Beautiful hotel, nice people and very well located. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

If you ever need a resort in Waikiki, this is a place for you. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, the staff was really helpful and I can't recommend this resort hiring enough
