“I came into the store for the first time like two weeks ago (I think), and had a very pleasant time. I was greeted by Isaiah whom was really welcoming, nice, informative, thoughtful, and patient with me while I was browsing. I felt like I was being respected regardless of purchasing or not (which I really like and appreciate!:)))
Fast forward to a couple of days later, I met the other team members (Boss Lee, Kalif, and Elijah) who were all so nice and helpful. After many revisits, we’re more than just team members and customer now; it feels like a big family instead (yayy!><). The aloha spirit I get from them is really heartwarming.

“My love for Aloha Shirts is extra special in finding the source of the original Magnum p.i. wear. Just by chance I googled to find the labeling as "Paradise Found." There's a bit of trivial history. Tom Selleck wore various patterned shirts and now Jay Hernandez has them in the Magnum reboot series. I them was able to order on Amazon Prime! With my excitement, I ordered 3 shirts. Oops. According to the Pacific Clothing website, the sizing of the shirts run large. Canceled and recorded a size smaller. My ordered arrived in a couple of days via Amazon Prime. The original shirts were made in silk. Now they rayon, which is actually easier to launder. The fabric very smooth and the patten details are dyed beautifully. Mahalo, Paradise!”

“We dont live in Hawaii but during our visit we hit zumiez, Maddox, Marley and Rose were absolutely incredible! They were great with our son helping him find the right size in shoes jeans and shirts, we all had a blast talking about skateboards and my husband's history working for zumiez as first assistant when he worked there as a teen! They showed us new arrivals they just got in, showed us brands we've never heard of that we absolutely loved! They all really know what they were doing! “I knew Anne many years ago when her and her sister joined the Karate Association of Hawaii dojo where I trained and taught for many years in Pucks Alley. I take notice from a posting by Al A. on the C/S she and her friends received when they visited and purchased a very expensive item and the treatment received. Understanding the business, Anne may have blown potential customers on this particular day but that is the way Ms Anne is. She loves her friends of which she has many and if you feel left out it's because of this attitude she has towards friendship. That being said, my question is on her ability to feel the inside feeling of her position in life. She married one haole from Oregon with a famous name but not a very famous person in real life, ex-navy man who retired from the navy, spent many years working in New York City (capital of alot of bullsh*t). She started her business in her mom's home and grew from there into a world renowned business for which she deserves. Having her first shop on East Manoa Road and then moving to her present location is such a funny thing. I grew up not two blocks from her store, Auahi and Koula Streets, back in the early 50's. The old Honolulu Lumber yard was our backyard playground, Kewalo Basin was our swimming pool and Ala Moana was our campgeound. So many memories of that place and the destruction of the surrounding areas today is unbelievable. Anne and I dated for several years until something happened that basically destroyed our presence of togetherness. When family members interfere only one thing can happen, separation, pain and hurt. Do I remember everything, you bet. Life has gone on but memories still exist along with other supporting factors. Ms Anne is a very good person and I wish her nothing but good and I pass on my condolences for the passing of her parents whom I respected but did not really enjoy being around. It's like one never forgets that very first kill in combat, of which I have many while serving in Vietnam for two tours. I remember the letter I wrote to her back in 73 about my divorce (the cause) and my kids, this threw her sister Nodie into a mean tantrum fit but we survived the issues for a little while. When one takes the life of another whether in combat or whatever, that life will follow you forever-so I have many in my head and regret my actions but I do not hate that I did what I had to to survive. I wanted to send her a letter or email but when I discovered her husband is controlling her emails I decided to post. For the public and AL A, trust Anne to do you right and don't let the little things in life get to you because you are not the only one alive in this crazy world we live in now. Much Aloha and always remember life is to short to get angry.”

“This is a great Ross location, especially if you’re a tourist looking for some cheaper souvenirs or forgotten items to pack, or if you’re just in the market for some new clothes. I came here multiple times—once a week, even—since they are constantly getting new and interesting items. I think I’ve found everything from dress tops to shorts and even a pair of shoes. Although, like all outlet shopping, be wary of shoes that could be uncomfortable over time or clothes with loose threads. The people working there seem to be fairly nice, especially the ladies who help you in the women’s fitting room area.Also, be aware that they don’t accept tap-to-pay; they only take physical cards and cash. Though, I wouldn’t recommend using cash, as they didn’t give me back the correct change and I felt a little stiffed.”

“Island Boy Shop is a true gem. A dangerous gem though. It is impossible to go in and not find something you want - the inventory ranges from things that are useful to items that will bring you happiness. I try to order lei from them for special occasions - even if I procrastinate and text to see what is available, they are helpful and friendly. Their fragrance selection is amazing. One of my favorite perfumes is from Island Boy and love their candle selection. It’s a great shop for gift giving. Also, they are a one stop shop, they have cutest cards. Pro tip is get a Mau House pack and leave in your car for “oops I forgot a card” situations. I find that everything I purchase from them for myself becomes a staple. When I get an Island Boy bag as a gift I know I am going to love what’s inside!”
