“Shaka Time nails the vibe with bright, breathable garments for women, men, kids, and wedding guests. The prints feel authentic, fabrics handle sun and surf, and sizing is family-friendly with friendly, helpful staff. Great for everyday island style or wedding ready looks. A few specialty pieces may need a bit of lead time, but the quality and aloha spirit make it worth planning ahead. Highly recommended for versatile, island inspired attire.”

“Went in with partner to just browse and ended up leaving with a bag. Junko was SO AMAZING! She was very happy to help us, and showed us some of her favorite items. The service was so good that we ended up going back again a few days later, and Junko greeted us with a big smile. Seriously can’t get over how nice she was, best customer service I’ve had! Second time we got another bag and some sunglasses ?.”

“I came into the store for the first time like two weeks ago (I think), and had a very pleasant time. I was greeted by Isaiah whom was really welcoming, nice, informative, thoughtful, and patient with me while I was browsing. I felt like I was being respected regardless of purchasing or not (which I really like and appreciate!:)))

Fast forward to a couple of days later, I met the other team members (Boss Lee, Kalif, and Elijah) who were all so nice and helpful. After many revisits, we’re more than just team members and customer now; it feels like a big family instead (yayy!><). The aloha spirit I get from them is really heartwarming.

Big shout out to you guys! Hope to be back one day in the future & buy more things;)

(Edit: shout out to the other two Japanese team members as well and Kevin!^-^)”

“We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our first night in Hawaii on New Year’s Eve. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt celebratory yet cozy, effortlessly elegant, and perfect for ringing in a new year in paradise. The food was exceptional — beautifully prepared, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. Every dish felt elevated but comforting, with clear attention to quality ingredients and thoughtful execution.

The service truly made the night unforgettable. Despite it being one of the busiest nights of the year, the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, never making us feel rushed. They went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, turning dinner into a memory we’ll always associate with the start of our trip and the start of a new year. An incredible experience from start to finish — we’ll absolutely be back next time we’re on the island.”

“Found 2 items that I thought would work for a tween, and would be flat to mail easily. Plus your salesperson had approached me in a friendly way and was able to learn a little about why I was there (birthday for my grand niece named Violet) and she later made a 3rd suggestion for an item in that color that I could not resist! So I ended up with 3 fun things (2 were creative activities with multiple uses) and I got out of there in 20 minutes. A very pleasant shopping experience!”

“My fiancé and I got engaged the day before we visited the store. When we walked in to simply look, we were greeted by Patrick. Not only did he give us a sales experience we did not expect, but he gave us an experience we will oddly remember forever. We left with shoes, advice, and in a short time created a memory shared by a genuine person. Cannot recommend the store, and Patrick enough. Truly a luxury experience that has cemented my love for the brand.”

“There is a great selection and style of clothes at Crazy Shirts. My wife and I bought 2 hoodies and 2 shirts. The prices are high(er) but the quality of their clothing is outstanding. The staff, specifically Cloud was awesome and her hospitality was exemplary!”

“My love for Aloha Shirts is extra special in finding the source of the original Magnum p.i. wear. Just by chance I googled to find the labeling as "Paradise Found." There's a bit of trivial history. Tom Selleck wore various patterned shirts and now Jay Hernandez has them in the Magnum reboot series. I them was able to order on Amazon Prime! With my excitement, I ordered 3 shirts. Oops. According to the Pacific Clothing website, the sizing of the shirts run large. Canceled and recorded a size smaller. My ordered arrived in a couple of days via Amazon Prime. The original shirts were made in silk. Now they rayon, which is actually easier to launder. The fabric very smooth and the patten details are dyed beautifully. Mahalo, Paradise!”

“Staff is cool, some of the collabs are really cool, the fabric on some of the clothes is not ideally wearable, breathable, etc. I wish they were more kid friendly as well on the prices. I paid $45 for a kids hat.”

“My concierge Jayar was the best! He was super friendly and helpful. He held our purchases until we needed to pick them up and reminded us to pick it up before we left the island.

While shopping we were offered champagne and water which was a treat!

He treated us like family and not just another sale.

To top it off he has the best smile there ?”

“We dont live in Hawaii but during our visit we hit zumiez, Maddox, Marley and Rose were absolutely incredible! They were great with our son helping him find the right size in shoes jeans and shirts, we all had a blast talking about skateboards and my husband's history working for zumiez as first assistant when he worked there as a teen! They showed us new arrivals they just got in, showed us brands we've never heard of that we absolutely loved! They all really know what they were doing! Wound up going back 3xs finding something new each time! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Maddox, Rose and Marely for such an amazing experience!!”

“I knew Anne many years ago when her and her sister joined the Karate Association of Hawaii dojo where I trained and taught for many years in Pucks Alley. I take notice from a posting by Al A. on the C/S she and her friends received when they visited and purchased a very expensive item and the treatment received. Understanding the business, Anne may have blown potential customers on this particular day but that is the way Ms Anne is. She loves her friends of which she has many and if you feel left out it's because of this attitude she has towards friendship. That being said, my question is on her ability to feel the inside feeling of her position in life. She married one haole from Oregon with a famous name but not a very famous person in real life, ex-navy man who retired from the navy, spent many years working in New York City (capital of alot of bullsh*t). She started her business in her mom's home and grew from there into a world renowned business for which she deserves. Having her first shop on East Manoa Road and then moving to her present location is such a funny thing. I grew up not two blocks from her store, Auahi and Koula Streets, back in the early 50's. The old Honolulu Lumber yard was our backyard playground, Kewalo Basin was our swimming pool and Ala Moana was our campgeound. So many memories of that place and the destruction of the surrounding areas today is unbelievable. Anne and I dated for several years until something happened that basically destroyed our presence of togetherness. When family members interfere only one thing can happen, separation, pain and hurt. Do I remember everything, you bet. Life has gone on but memories still exist along with other supporting factors. Ms Anne is a very good person and I wish her nothing but good and I pass on my condolences for the passing of her parents whom I respected but did not really enjoy being around. It's like one never forgets that very first kill in combat, of which I have many while serving in Vietnam for two tours. I remember the letter I wrote to her back in 73 about my divorce (the cause) and my kids, this threw her sister Nodie into a mean tantrum fit but we survived the issues for a little while. When one takes the life of another whether in combat or whatever, that life will follow you forever-so I have many in my head and regret my actions but I do not hate that I did what I had to to survive. I wanted to send her a letter or email but when I discovered her husband is controlling her emails I decided to post. For the public and AL A, trust Anne to do you right and don't let the little things in life get to you because you are not the only one alive in this crazy world we live in now. Much Aloha and always remember life is to short to get angry.”

“Customer service was truly stellar. I want to thank both Caleb Atha and Steele for their help with my purchase.
Caleb answered all my questions diligently and perfectly addressed my doubts regarding the right size. Since I bought a gift, Caleb presented me with multiple detailed options in case I got the wrong size.
Additionally, Caleb and Steele went the extra mile by beautifully packaging my gift bag and offering me a pencil for me to write my b-day card with.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience in this store thanks to the staff.”
