“The only company that picked up their phone during the holidays! Enjoyed working with Heather and the floral arrangement was beautiful in color and composition. She was able to create and send on the same day. Talk about great customer service! Thank you Heather!”

“I am not too surprised about the prices here. It is HUH-VAI-EEE. Place is clean and decent selection. Standard Bakery stuff. Bought a salad that was good. It looks smalls in the photo but had two chicken breasts in it. I was stuffed.”

“Love the convenient location in Kaloko Industrial area and right by Costco. It's a cute little shop with always friendly and helpful staff. There lots of product, and, of course, all plant based. The only con would be prices are a bit high.”

“Came in to check out some plate lunch offerings late afternoon and was pleased to see a happy hour special of $5 for what sushi, bowls and poke was still present after 530 so we stocked up on poke nachos, spicy crab, spicy ahi inari and some sushi. Was impressed at the quality of fish and how the rice wasn't dried out! so good! Noticed so many people grabbing pizzas and burgers here as well - we were so curious how they were too but will try another time!”

“You can use your FoodLand/Sack n Save Maika'i card to get 5¢ off per gallon. That's so helpful right now with gas prices so high.We enjoy their Ice machine, keeps us cool with different flavors. They also have a smoothie machine that blends your pick right there. They also have different ready to go snacks from sandwiches, Musubi, fresh fruit bowls, salad bowls, etc. Huge assortment of drinks and snack.Wonderful customer service!”

“A must-stop-shop!For visitors to the big island, this is shop is at a vital and convenient location; to those who need to fill up gas before returning the cars to the rental places, to those who need meals, snacks, or drinks before their adventures and beach days, or etc.For residents / locals, this is such a great new establishment as well! Please help support local . The spicy ahi bombs are legit bomb (aka delicious), they have fresh poke, poke nachos, butter mochi, fresh fruit, banana bread, plate lunches, sweet potato, overnight oats I think, cake, and more ! The aisles are so neat and fresh, it is so nice to have this new location so conveniently located. It reminds me of the konbini's (convience stores) in Japan, because of how convenient it actually is !Locals are a classic slipper/slippah/chanclas/sandals staple of hawaii haha and they have them here.If you love mochi, uncle chads mochi is a hit that you need to get on Mondays!”

“Not a ton of pumps, and I didn't go inside so I can't say what that looks like. The price of gas is about average for the city currently. I did notice they have a vacuum available for cars (just one) but can't say if it's free or not. So why four stars you may ask? The reason is location, location, location my friend. Situated just up the road from the Kona Coast Resort, if you're bougie enough to be staying there or working nearby it provides an opportunity to get gas unmolested from the working class types in the city below. Located far enough off of a main highway or city street it is almost never busy which is rare at a gas station on the islands, so you won't have somebody crawling up your tailpipe to get at your pump. It's also situated on top of a hill, with gorgeous views of the ocean to contemplate while taking a moment to relax pumping gas before joining the unwashed masses below.”

“As a visitor, i love the costco here. It has so much Hawaii special items, from shirt, to nuts to coffee, everything is so attempting and reasonably priced. Most of the other item here are at same price as mainland US. Not like saveway, i found the stuff there are so much more expensive than the mainland. It's definitely a good place to shop when u are on travel.. i got some rare items here and I'm super happy!”

“Much better prices than downtown local stores for all kinds of souvenirs. We got a ukulele, matching rose gold over sterling silver mini turtle earrings and necklace, a couple of genuine pearl solitaire Tahitian Black Pearl necklaces, a flower clip/barette & wide adjustable headbands.Because we spent over $100 we were given a choice of a free gift; a calendar, a reusable tote bag or a turtle embossed mug in its own case. Of course we chose the mug! There are 3 small ABC Stores all within a very short walking distance from ea other in downtown tourist area. Then there's a 4th larger ABC store attached to the Marriott which we'll be visiting later on.”

“We rented a car from a private service and had to wash and vacuum the car before returning it. The touchless car wash was more than sufficient since we rented a sedan and didn’t do anything off-road. Price for the car wash was reasonable. You can expect to pay anywhere between $12-16 pretax depending on the level of wash you want either inside the gas station or at the drive up kiosk before entering the actual wash. They do have an option for brush washing but I’ve always had bad experiences with those. There are 2 stations for vacuum, air, and water. Vacuum is a little weak on picking up sand and in crevasses but it’s what you’d expect from a DIY car wash. Paper towels dispensers are on the gas pumps which are right across from the vacuum stations. It can get a little tight since you’re sharing space with the pumps. It can be busy in that area and there’s no real place to line up so you gotta make it work.Overall, it accomplished what we needed.”

“Don't be fooled by the generic condo exterior! This is one of the better places to buy cold beer on the Kona side of the island! They have a big cooler section with lots of chilled local cans.Tons of wine as well.Service was really friendly.I never would have thought of coming in here if it weren't for Yelp. It looks like the main office of some gated condo community from the outside, but it's downhome Hawaii on the inside.”

“It's a great little mom and pop store in the neighborhood. The owners are truly nice people. They have a little bit of everything. Also, I go there for ice cream 1-2 times a week, and I told them about my favorite flavor of Ben and Jerry's, so they started to keep some for me! Nice right?! If u have to decide between going to shell, or here, please go to Sunset and support this place.”

“I needed to pick up some DayQuil and this Longs was just up the street from my condo, so it was super convenient for me. It may be a bit off the beaten path for those unfamiliar with the area though. Parking is readily available and inside the store is tidy with plenty of people to help you find what you need and get you on your way.”

“I have to give this place a 5 stars for service.I was trying to sign up for the CVS card so I can get the deals (the price for mauna loa mac nuts are much cheaper here than target or walmart) but my phone number kept not registering. They were so patient and tried to fix it but in the end it didnt work. The cashier offered to ask someone to scan their card so I can get the offer. This was the best service.”

“Small newsstand selling very affordable and surprisingly reasonably priced snacks at the Kona airport. It was also only one of two businesses that we saw in the terminal. They carry Tropical Dreams ice cream which we had never had before but now I highly recommend you try it!! The flavors are all super good and only $5 per container! I chose coconut cream and ube. The coconut cream tastes just like haupia!!”

“After getting great and super fast care from Urgent Care Kona. They sent prescription ahead to Longs for me. Longs expedited the prescription for me and I was out in 15minutes. Pharmacy staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a medical issue while on vacation in Hawaii and within 1 hour had gotten treatment from walkin and had meds in hand from Longs. Can't really ask for much better than that”

“CVS Long’s in Kailua-Kona (Palani Rd) is always cordial and pleasant upon arrival at the store. My biggest concern is when calling the pharmacy service, the AI continuously “apologizes” because they “didn’t get that”. It can be very frustrating. The good news is that eventually, the AI acknowledges your request and confirms the order.”

“I'm not sure yet who Andrew is in the pharmacy dept officially, He is absolutely WONDERFUL! The list would go on forever all the aloha that came from him.. truly cared anyone would be able to feel it! I did over the phone from the mainland. I was having such an issue with Walgreens & I called Longs within minutes on a Sunday no less Andrew had my scripts in the works, calling Dr & transferring. Mahalo for lokomaika`i Aloha Kim”

“The staff is very helpful. They tend to carry things that are not available in the big box stores. Sign up for an extracare savings card. I often get email offers for $/% off that I transfer to my card for additional savings.”
