“Such an amazing, cool hardware store! Let me give you some context….my grandfather owned an ace hardware store in California in the early 1900s (taken over by my dad and his brother)....so I have some early love and curiosity to experience every Ace we come upon. Not my normal go-to shopping but there is something about the smell….and absolutely EVERY ace is different. Some are hardcore hardware, some with housewares, some with limited holiday…but NOTHING like I experienced in Kona. Man!! It was exciting to see an Ace with a beautiful holiday inventory - the buyer for this store has good taste with holiday and offers unique items (not like Hobby Lobby or any of the yuck yuck goopy stores). My husband also liked the fishing offerings.
AND the service was amazing. So welcoming, so personable. I wished I could remember her name. We visited on Friday, October 11 - give that gal a raise! ?”
