“Great shop and worked my vehicle in on short notice with no issues. I had a rebuilt alternator installed and they took the old one out and dropped it off for me after. Worked out well since the rebuild guy was two stalls down and didn't charge a core fee! Nice! Bonus, the shop followed up with me for a service via text. Definitely will keep in mind for next time.”

“Top notch service! This last week, I brought my '08 Accord with its 200k miles to Ron and his team...my a/c had died and needed to be replaced. The team found that my compressor was dead, replaced it the next day, paid the bill and left. Unfortunately, a/c still wasn't producing cold air. Brought the car back the next day and the following day....Ron's team stayed with it until the problem was fixed, even paying for another compressor to replace the first one. In the end, when Ron handed me the keys, he gave me an ice-cold AC, on a 15 yo car, and didn't charge me anything more for the 2 extra days. They clearly lost money on my old Accord--between the time and parts--but he made it right to his customer. An honest mechanic? Worth their weight in gold. RNS has won my repeated business. I highly recommend! Let them prove it to you too.”

He not only gave me an estimate for the rust removal, he also checked out my car and fixed my starter issue right there on the spot! “I take my E83 specifically to Hawaii vintage auto because Ken and his team care about service and workmanship. Before I met Ken I was shopping around looking for shops, and all of them told me to come down so they could look at my car. Not one asked me what type of car or even how I was doing. Furthermore none of could even say bye, they would just hang up. Not Ken though, his value for customer service was speaking just through the phone. He didn't ask me to come down so he could look he explained to me over the phone. I went there and he was honest and said they were busy but if he could squeeze me in he would. Which he did. I am grateful I have Ken doing work on my cars because he so honest and honesty goes a long way.”

“I sent a website contact form and was notified by text I had an appointment a few days later. I went in for an oil change and they got it done in a few hours. I live close by so so was able to walk home while waiting, it would not have been comfortable to wait there. There is also a Starbucks across the street. Cost seemed high ($200 for an Audi oil change) but it's my first island auto service and I usually go to the dealership so it's likely comparable. They kept me updated and charged what they quoted. They didn't try to sell me on anything else despite me asking for them to check it over for anything else I may need.”

“Great experience using this body shop (joys of a teen driver). I requested a preliminary estimate using photos due to work obligations and he was willing to work with me. No charge for the estimate which was nice. The final cost was half the amount of another estimate for more work. I was told the work would take 4 days but it was completed in two days. This shop only takes cash or checks so be prepared but totally worth it considering price and the time to complete the service. As others have said the location is hard to find the first time.”

“I needed a safety inspection by the end of the month, but everyone was booked out for weeks. I found out that several places in the Kailua/Kaneohe area either lost their inspectors or their license so make sure you book way in advance! Luckily the guys at Texaco 'Aikahi offered to keep my car on the lot for a 'work in'. Long story short, they did my inspection within 24 hours. I even received the call after my working hours - I'm a teacher - so that I wouldn't have to interrupt my time with my students. How thoughtful. Mahalo nui loa, Texaco 'Aikahi.”

“THANKSGIVING time so called All auto shops in Kailua & no one could fix my 4Runner anytime soon! After a rear tail light & cover were replced at an auto body shop....electrical was shutting down one thing after another: no blinkers, no AC, ABS brakes were clunking & finally alternator & battery went! I was bummed as no one at body shop could figure what went wrong. They sent me to BES. Tests were not showing problem but Bear forund a smashed wire from light grounded to metal was causing shutdowns! HE FIXED ALL DAY B4 HOLIDAY :) ALL IS WELL AGAIN!!! Malia met me with much lower cost than I expected And Shes So Beautifullll. Truly Amazing Service + I was dropped off & picked up at my home, maybe cuz Im an old lady But NO Uber :) HAPPY THANKSGIVING IN BEST TOWN KAILUA OAHU ALOHA MAHALO!!!”

“CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! My Wife's Lincoln had a no start concern yesterday evening. Had vehicle towed to Windward Ford after closing time. Sales staff kept the front entrance open after hours just for us to drop vehicle off. JR (Service Manager) called me mid afternoon to let me know vehicle is repaired and ready to pick up. Since I couldn't make it there before closing time, JR parked vehicle just outside sales department and just picked it up at 6:15pm. Keep in mind no appointment and the AWESOME Team got my Wife's vehicle done in between their already scheduled appointments. Mahalo Nui Windward Ford you guys are THE BEST.
