“My first complaint is that their locations are not really local friendly. Two of their locations are in Waikiki and their third location is in downtown with limited street parking that is usually taken.
Considering the location it was a good thing I kinda knew where they were so I had someone drop me off and wait for me. And even then it was a journey for me considering I am handicap. It would have been much worse if I had to park and walk it.
That being said their products are solid! Even comes with a warranty. So even though it's on the pricier side I feel that it's a great value. Plus the workers are friendly and really helpful making for a great buying experience.”

“I've only been into the outdoor lifestyle for a few years. I remember visiting REI in California and being so amazed by every item because I didn't know what they were and any brands. Uloha down on Ward and a block from HiClimb rock gym is like a mini-REI. I spent maybe a half hour here browsing b/c they had some cool items that I didn't think you'd find in Hawaii (40L backpack with hip belt, Outdoor Research rain jackets). It's all very crammed in, but it's an awesome selection and experience. It's also a much better selection than what I found at Walmart. Climb Aloha is inside too and they have a good complementary store for climbing gear.”

Not only did he give us a sales experience we did not expect, but he gave us an experience we will oddly remember forever. We left with shoes, advice, and in a short time created a memory shared by a genuine person. Cannot recommend the store, and Patrick enough. Truly a luxury experience that has cemented my love for the brand.”

“Such a fun store to pick up some local art, or make your own souvenirs. There’s picture frames, stands, and surfboards you can customize with different Hawaiian symbols. I loved the stationary and the brightly colored Christmas ornaments. We made a surfboard with items that reminded us of our trip. It’s the perfect way to remember what we did. Definitely stop in to get a unique gift for yourself or someone else.”
“We dont live in Hawaii but during our visit we hit zumiez, Maddox, Marley and Rose were absolutely incredible! They were great with our son helping him find the right size in shoes jeans and shirts, we all had a blast talking about skateboards and my husband's history working for zumiez as first assistant when he worked there as a teen! They showed us new arrivals they just got in, showed us brands we've never heard of that we absolutely loved! They all really know what they were doing! Wound up going back 3xs finding something new each time! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Maddox, Rose and Marely for such an amazing experience!!”

“I had a great experience here. I called ahead to be sure they had the selection I needed. Women’s size 7.5 slip on steel toe boots. Sounds average but it’s actually hard to find. A lot of places stoped carrying the smaller men’s size that I need but this store had better options for me than the actual RW location I went to today. They actually carry women’s boots with a great size selection. The store associate was awesome. When I got there she pulled 5 different shoes for me, one at a time until I found the fit I was looking for. Listening to my feedback after each one I tried on. She was patient and was able to help other patrons as I went back and forth trying on the shoes trying to narrow down my selection. Alas I found what I needed. I ended up with a men’s boot but only because they had a size that worked for me. I’m so happy I went there today.”

“Clothing styles appear to appeal to the younger generation. Very casual. Sundresses, pants, jeans, sleeveless blouses, under garments, nursing uniforms, costume jewelry, plus size clothing, shorts, etc. Not the best quality fabrics. Cheaply made. I've shopped there a number of times and noticed torn garments. Items are reasonably priced. I would shop here again because I like the styles and variety.”
