This store caters to an older clientele that is willing to pay more for high quality footwear. It is a small store, but people came here by word of mouth. He was very knowledgeable about the shoes and explained to me thoroughly. Got to try on different brands to see what was right for me. It was great actually having someone assist and help you. “Happened to spot this store from the Safeway parking lot that's down the street a bit. I just had to walk over. They've got an impressive selection of shoes and clothes. Staff was friendly and explained the layout very clearly bc the store is much bigger than it looks. They have an upstairs that has all local businesses, some new and some vintage. They even have a discount room where everything is under $20. Parking is behind the store.”

“Among the many casual American store clerks with a Hawaiian feel, a tall, fashionable Japanese male clerk was very kind and courteous, so even those of us who are not good at English felt at ease shopping. It's done. They will ask you questions about whether the product can only be purchased in the United States, tell you about materials and washing methods, and best of all, they will suggest coordination that suits your body type and atmosphere.Even though it is a casual shop, it feels like a luxury maison. I was very grateful for the customer service.I think it's worth a visit even if you're not a North Face fan.”

We initially came in with the intentions of just getting my boyfriend a pair of shoes but Ashely let us know about a promo they had going on and gave us some great insight about the shoes and helped us during our time in the store. “Born and raised in Hawaii, one is accustomed to wearing slippers. I primarily wore the "rubbah slippas" that my family would pick up for me at Long's. Slippers in Hawaii is the result of the Japanese immigrants who came to Hawaii as they brought along the Japanese zori, or Japanese sandals that are made of natural or synthetic materials. As I grew older, I would still wear rubber slippers but started to venture into Birkenstocks as they were introduced to me during my college days. When I moved back to Hawaii, I noticed some colleagues and people around me wore Scott Hawaii (SH) slippers, which can be categorized as higher end sandals that are meant for comfort and durability. At that time I couldn't visualize myself investing in such footwear. Embarrassingly, I got my first pair of SH slippers in 2010 when it was given to me as a gift. They were heavier than what I have been wearing all my life but really appreciated the comfort and longevity. I ended up with another pair from SH that I've been using for over 7 years. Such a great investment Recently, I've noticed that my pair of SH slippers are on its last leg with some cracks here there and it was time to replace them. I recall reading Lyla D.'s review on SH so after a frustrating day at the office, I decided that I needed retail therapy so I made my way over here before heading home. It was kinda confusing to find here but I remembered the address so I parked in one of the stalls and walked in. I saw the SH sticker on the door as met a male who was on his way out and he blurted "Go to the second floor." The 2F is SH's display room with staff to assist you. There was an elderly couple who was shopping for sandals and I was assisted by a young female who greeted me. I told her I wanted to replace my existing pair and she asked what I was looking for. I just wanted the standard black pair and I had no idea what my size is. We checked the bottom of my existing pair but the sole was run down that the number size was not visible. She went to the warehouse to bring me several sizes to try on. While waiting I checked out their merchandise display and saw an array of different male, female, unisex and children sandals. I really appreciated the art decor that depicted Hawaii well. The staff returned with several sizes and we went down the sizes until the fit was right. I initially planned on getting the plain, standard all black slippers but saw this military green strap that piqued my interest. My eyes then landed on navy blue ono so I asked the associate to bring both. I tried both colors on and both colors appealed to me. I then asked for the price, where she advised me $30 per pair. People may feel the price tag as high but I don't mind paying for comfort and quality, especially with my satisfied experience up till now. You pay for comfort and this purchase can also be viewed as an investment. I ended up getting both pairs. I've been using my current pair of SH slippers for over 6 years and have also taken them with me when I traveled to California and Japan. SH will continue to be my choice of slippers and highly recommend them. Their products can also be purchased online but make your way over here to view and try on the product. 2024 #10”

“If you ever bought shoes at the Running Room, you will never go any place else. The staff is incredibly knowledgable about running shoes. They have all run marathons. The owner/manager understands how people move their feet and what the movement means for shoes. I bought my first pair of shoes from him two years ago. I learned I was wearing the wrong size and wrong kind of shoe. I loved those shoes so much that I returned to buy another pair today. They take a lot of time with each customer and learn what the person needs. They also educated the customer. The prices are reasonable for the level of service. I also picked up some workout clothes that were on sale. They carry a lot of running gear. They have a small parking lot next to the building. They are a local small business. You just can't get this kind of service anyplace else.”

“Staff was so friendly, after knowing my size, whenever they saw me holding a shoe they would immediately go grab a pair for me if there’s my size. The selection of shoes and sizes were great at least when compared to Seattle! I wanted a pair of New Balanced 9060 (which are unisex shoes) and they actually had women size with different colors! That’s something unimaginable in Seattle after I tried asking in many stores, even the New Balance store themselves.”

“This is probably the smallest Macy's that I've been in. While the store is small in size, you can still find all the necessities. They have men's, women's and kid's departments. They also have luggage, swimwear, jewelry, shoes and cosmetics. Yesterday, was National Lipstick Day. MAC was running a great deal. They had 40% off on select lipsticks, lipliners and glosses. I wanted to get the O lipstick and Oak lipliner. However, they were sold out. The salesgirl offered to order it for me and send it to my residence with free shipping. I told her that was fine. She looked up my info in the computer system and rang me up. She was really helpful towards the end, but in the beginning she saw me looking at all their lipsticks for 10 minutes and didn't bother coming over. It was only after another woman came by that she decided to come and help us.”

“It’s my birthday month so this store is the reason I wanted to do a weekend getaway from Maui to Oahu.I think it’s just the red that I love so much. Plus their iconic red bottom shoe is just beautiful & makes it easy to spot. Which also makes this the only brand I can easily point out when binge watching Netflix.Christian Louboutin has definitely succeeded on making what I’d consider eye candy or wearable art. Even just browsing their website or socials is an easy way to get an idea of what items you’re already interested in before shopping in store.Speaking of which, this store definitely has that luxurious feel. You can see a few items highlighted in the front window. Plus you can see other items in the back of the store that make you want to come inside to browse around. Walking inside makes you feel like you gained entrance to a private club as you walk past security. We did a circle around the store & I ended up liking a few items. Like this adorable mini purse is something I’ve been drooling over for a hot minute. So I was definitely excited to finally see it in person. Plus who knows maybe I’ll get the matching larger tote bag next time too.However I must say those matching shoes were hella cute & made only picking one item this visit so hard. Although you know the funny thing is, I don’t usually wear fitted shoes. I normally just wear a loose size 6 sneaker. So not even thinking about that I started with a 6 to try on. Except there was a large gap. So I ended up trying on a 6, 5.5, 5 & surprisingly a 4.5 before discovering my actual shoe size here is a 4.5.Everyone working here were so nice & it made my shopping experience enjoyable. So thank you for making my weekend special.P.S. I am usually a more budget friendly shopper. So sales or out of season discounted items are when I’d be interested in doing my next shopping spree. My niece needed a special pair of slippers because of a slight birth defect, she needs 2 different sizes of shoes/slippers for each foot. When asked if they would accommodate, WITHOUT hesitation they agreed to charge me only 1 pair instead of 2. I was willing to pay for the 2 BUT they would NOT hear of it. What an AWESOME gesture.
