βCoco Nene is a must-visit shop at Kahala Mall. Natalia is exceptional and honestly the reason my shopping experience was as wonderful as it was.
We customized their Longboard Letters for our family, and it’s already become such a meaningful keepsake that will grow with us through the years. I’m already planning to come back to make a custom surfboard sign for my son’s birthday party.
The quality is beautiful, and their pieces instantly give your home that island feel. Definitely worth making this shop a stop! You'll find gifts (or treasures for yourself) you actually can’t get anywhere else.β

βMy first complaint is that their locations are not really local friendly. Two of their locations are in Waikiki and their third location is in downtown with limited street parking that is usually taken.
Considering the location it was a good thing I kinda knew where they were so I had someone drop me off and wait for me. And even then it was a journey for me considering I am handicap. It would have been much worse if I had to park and walk it.
That being said their products are solid! Even comes with a warranty. So even though it's on the pricier side I feel that it's a great value. Plus the workers are friendly and really helpful making for a great buying experience.β

βI've only been into the outdoor lifestyle for a few years. I remember visiting REI in California and being so amazed by every item because I didn't know what they were and any brands. Uloha down on Ward and a block from HiClimb rock gym is like a mini-REI. I spent maybe a half hour here browsing b/c they had some cool items that I didn't think you'd find in Hawaii (40L backpack with hip belt, Outdoor Research rain jackets). It's all very crammed in, but it's an awesome selection and experience. It's also a much better selection than what I found at Walmart. Climb Aloha is inside too and they have a good complementary store for climbing gear.β
βGreat shop with a good collection of Alden shoes. Hard to find elsewhere. The lady working at the time was super helpful. They did not have the particular shoe I was looking for but she let me try quite a few other ones to get my size right. Very helpful and courteous.
The only minor niggle is that it can be very busy at times. The first time I went there, a customer was trying our various shoe polishes and took forever. The Sales attendant was “stuck” helping him and there were 5 other customers waiting. I left the store after waiting for 10 minutes. Had to comeback later when it was less busyβ

βSuch a fun store to pick up some local art, or make your own souvenirs. There’s picture frames, stands, and surfboards you can customize with different Hawaiian symbols. I loved the stationary and the brightly colored Christmas ornaments. We made a surfboard with items that reminded us of our trip. It’s the perfect way to remember what we did. Definitely stop in to get a unique gift for yourself or someone else.β

βWe dont live in Hawaii but during our visit we hit zumiez, Maddox, Marley and Rose were absolutely incredible! They were great with our son helping him find the right size in shoes jeans and shirts, we all had a blast talking about skateboards and my husband's history working for zumiez as first assistant when he worked there as a teen! They showed us new arrivals they just got in, showed us brands we've never heard of that we absolutely loved! They all really know what they were doing! Wound up going back 3xs finding something new each time! We will definitely be returning! Thank you Maddox, Rose and Marely for such an amazing experience!!β

βthis location on the waikele location are the two biggest stores for Crocs. The only downside is if you're looking for flip flops or slippers, they're both difficult to find the right size for. either they might be missing a color, or a particular line, or whatever.
both of these locations are really big and the staff was friendly and very helpful. but trying to find those flip flops was a pain in the butt because it's a line that Crocs don't really carry as many flip flops anymore .
If you want to get to this location, I suggest parking at the Sheraton parking garage. to reach that garage, take the first left after you see the Croc store to your left on Kalakaua Avenue, then go straight, and on the third driveway to your left you should be able to turn left into a pretty big parking structure.
It should show up as the Sheraton parking garage on Google maps. Parking uses that automatic ticket system that a lot of modern garages uses and you get a 15 minute grace period.
There are no elevators in the parking structure, but once you reach the first floor, the entrance to the hotel will be to your right, up off flight of carpeted stairs. Go straight through there, go around the swimming pool area, and Right before you reach the street the croc store will be to your right.
If you know what you're getting, you should be able to park, get what you need, then return to your car without having to pay a dime for the parking within the grace period.β
