“I’m actually OBSESSED with this place. I probably got a smoothie from here at least 7 times over our two week trip. I swear these are the cheapest and freshest smoothies you can get in Kīhei. This is a MUST GO for sure.”
“I usually enjoy shopping at Safeway, but today, I had some issues. In the first place, they put the daily newspaper out by the secondary door, which is out of sight until you get within a few feet of the exit door. If you have a shopping cart as i did, all four wheels immediately locked, and an alarm went off. I tried to drag the cart over to a checker to clear the locked wheels, but I was unable to move the cart. In a short while, I was rescued by a checker with her magic cart wand. Ehose dumb idea was it to put the daily newspaper by an exit door. It is just asking to be grabbed on the way out.”
“My Dad was displaced after losing our Family home in Lahaina. He missed alot of good filipino foods he use to discover in Lahaina. The adobo, tinuno, and pinacbet brought light to his heart He gives them a 5 star, and for service as well. Very clean store, friendly service and very delicious hot food. “Safeway is a great grocery store with an excellent selection of fresh produce, quality meats, bakery items, and just about everything you need in one place. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
The only downside is that prices can be a bit higher than some other grocery stores, especially if you're shopping without using their weekly deals or rewards program. That said, the quality, convenience, and wide selection make it worth the extra cost for many items.
Overall, it's a reliable place to shop, and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for quality and variety.”

“Stopped in for the Poke Bowl and some staples. Poke was fresh and filling. Some the best poke I can ever remember, so fresh! Stopped by the deli, the counter attendant was very kind and gave us some samples. The garlic chicken was great!”
