They’re very communicative, the shuttle van picks you up on time, you avoid long lines at other car rental counters at the airport, the vehicles are awesome and have great AC, and a bonus is it’s a local company. Booked a car through their website for a short trip to Maui & it was easy to navigate through the website. They communicate pretty well too, so it's nice knowing that they're there as you need.
They pick you up from the airport and will drop you back off as well, & it's a very short trip since they're located nearby.
It's definitely nice not having to worry so much about waiting in line at your typical car rentals at the airport!
They just have $10/$15 (can't remember exact) fee for anyone 21-24 but still better than other rental places! But overall prices seem reasonable and we originally had our car just for a day, so no matter how short/long your trip is, can rent a car here which is nice. Some other rental car places I looked into only could reserve if you had minimum some days.
The car was also very clean compared to some other rental cars elsewhere from my experience. Clean inside & out, no smells

“Handling the rental car arrangements was convenient, as there were no vehicles available at the location right next to the cruise terminal. I took a taxi to the airport and transferred to the free green shuttle train. Upon arrival, I completed the paperwork, stepped outside, turned left, and went down a level to pick up the car; the process was quick and easy. The only downside was that the location was a bit far from the cruise terminal, making it slightly less convenient.”
“If you're looking for the typical resort vacation, this probably isn't for you. But if you want the freedom to experience Maui on your own terms, I cannot recommend Sean and Epic Maui Camping enough.
From start to finish, Sean's communication was outstanding. He was responsive before I arrived, checked in during my trip, and even followed up afterward. I always felt like someone was there if I needed anything.
The airport pickup couldn't have been easier. Sean's instructions were clear, the vehicle was exactly where he said it would be, and within minutes I was on my way exploring Maui. Drop-off was just as simple. My flight wasn't until late in the evening, and returning the vehicle was completely hassle-free. I grabbed a quick Uber for the short ride (about 1.5 miles) back to the airport and was on my way home.
The Nissan Xterra was fantastic. I put more than 600 miles on it during my trip, including the Road to Hana, countless scenic pull-offs, beaches, and campgrounds. It handled everything with confidence and never let me down. Whether pulling off onto rough shoulders for an amazing view or winding through Hana's famous curves, the vehicle performed flawlessly.
What really impressed me was how incredibly well-equipped it was. Literally everything I needed was included, whether I was staying at a campground or simply stopping somewhere along the road. The tent setup was excellent, with both large and small stakes that came in handy during the windy nights. The sleeping mattress was surprisingly comfortable and could be used either inside the Xterra or in the tent. There was a camp stove and propane, blankets, towels, and countless other thoughtful items. I didn't end up using everything, but it was incredibly reassuring knowing it was all there if I needed it.
I spent most of my time camping at ʻOlowalu Campground, which turned out to be the perfect home base with hot showers, clean flushing restrooms, a beautiful beachfront setting, and a very well-maintained campground. I also camped at the campground inside Haleakalā National Park in Hāna, and having a vehicle already equipped with everything made the experience effortless.
One of the unexpected highlights of my trip was talking with other travelers. So many people told me they wished they had known this was an option instead of staying in a traditional hotel. Even several locals I met said they were going to look into Epic Maui Camping after hearing about my experience.
Overall, this was one of the best travel decisions I've made. It gave me the flexibility to experience the real Maui instead of being tied to a resort. If you're even considering this adventure—even if it's just for a night or two—book it. You won't regret it.

“This was one of the best decisions that we made for our trip to Maui. We did not have to wait in the rental car line or deal with normal rental car issues. Lucas picked us up at the airport and gave us a lot of info about the island. We got our car with no problems and they provided beach chairs and an umbrella for our use for the week! “Close to the cruise port, able to walk with no issues. Was allowed to use any and all beach gear (snorkel, chairs and water shoes). You are given the gate code, so you can return the car after hours and allows you to park there for free overnight. Also, the owner will give you a ride back to the cruise port once you are done. Bonus the yard is full of cats that you can play with :)”

“We went our snorkeling today at Molikini crater with a party of 8 and had an amazing time. The boat crew were amazing and very engaging and helpful. The 3 ladies were awesome at every turn and helped in every way possible to make this experience for all on board.
This was a 5.5 hour expedition and we loved every part of it. The water at the crater was crystal clear and we were able to see so much marine life.
This was a smaller boat which made for more of a personal experience and not so crowded on the boat or enjoying the water slide and such. We will definitely be using Maui Snorkeling in the future and we highly recommend this company for all your snorkeling needs.”

“I highly recommend Maui Mini Go. I was visiting Maui for the first time, and did not realize that to better experience the island I would need a car. After checking the usual rental places, and having the hotel staff call a local place, I found Maui Mini Go via a search and gave them a call. David was immediately helpful, and had a car ready to go. He was forthright about an issue with the remote for the doors, and confirmed I still wanted the car. He brought the car to me, and when I returned it he provided me transport to the airport. I had a fantastic experience with Maui Mini Go, and they will be my go to when I visit in the future. “The guys at Jeep sent me here because I needed a car while mine was getting service. For the rental, there were a lot of options. I got a new Rubicon with just over 5k miles on it. The staff were so friendly and the service was impeccable. The entire process was fast and friendly. Claire & Andrea were super helpful on the return and the two gentlemen that helped me at pick-up also went above and beyond. I am sorry I don’t have their names. “My whole experience with this branch was easy and without issue! The highlight of my experience was Lourde, who was so kind, communicative and clear whenever I called with a question. It was because of her great customer care that I decided to go with this branch. She without issue helped me adjust my car rental following the major storms in March, and then helped me navigate a one way rental after letting me know they had a sale going on for such. Will definitely use them again! My only complaint is that it was sometimes hard to get through on the phone, but any time I was able to do so, Lourde was there to help!”
