“I always take my Tundra to Kauai Auto Repair because I know they'll take good care of it. I just had all four tires replaced and an alignment done, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My truck drives smooth and straight again, and best of all, it no longer has that wobble when I hit around 40 mph.
The crew is always friendly, honest, and easy to work with. They do quality work, keep you informed, and never make you feel pressured. It's hard to find a shop you can really trust, and these guys have definitely earned my business.

“Best mechanic experience on the island of Kauai. Wayne was quick to answer the phone and even flexible to squeeze me in during a busy holiday season. He let me know I’d have to drop my car off for the day to see when he would get to it and called me within 2 hours to let me know the service was complete. He charged me less than a third of what 3 surrounding shops had quoted me.
His service was quick, reliable, professional, and friendly. My only regret was not finding his shop sooner.”

“I am so excited to have finally found a skilled, honest, personable, fair, and timely mechanic on island!!! From the start it’s been a stress free process; booking an appointment was easy (they even text!), sharing all of the information with their techs was streamlined and documented, I got to talk with real people, and they got me in and out in a timely manner. I have a 2018 Mazda CX3 & was scheduled for a general oil change + tire rotation, and also had some check engine lights that needed proper diagnosing with a special scanner that most shops don’t have. All in all Chuck was great and will definitely be coming back to Hostile! Highly recommend.”
“I can’t recommend Aloha Transmission & Auto Repair enough. I bought my Jeep Wrangler from a dealer after moving to Kauai, and only 3 months later the clutch completely went out .. and I mean OUT out. I got quotes from a couple other shops for around $8,000, which was honestly overwhelming.
Then I called John at Aloha Transmission & Auto Repair. Not only did he get me in quickly, but he did the job for half the price. On top of that, he was incredibly understanding and even held onto my Jeep for a while while I was off-island.
I finally got it back home, and it drives like an absolute dream now. John was kind, professional, honest, and easy to work with from start to finish. It’s hard to find people you can genuinely trust with your vehicle, especially on an island, but this place absolutely earned my trust.

“It shouldn't be, but it's always surprising when a business delivers more than what's normally expected . My car stopped which turned out to the drive belt broke. Rey's was able to accept the tow and then they fixed it very quickly. He found indications of previous shoddy workmanship but fixed that also. I would very, very highly recommend Rey's Auto. They also include a one year warranty on their work!!”
“The staff at Kuhio Chevy Service were excellent. They kept me up to date on what needed to be done and the work being done on my car and kept me on top of costs. The only negative was the high tables and chairs for customers. They were difficult for a short person to manage and I ended up with a painful, stretched thigh muscle. I know there are comfortable seats by the parts department, but unfortunately they are by the nonstop talking television. Please put some lower chair/table options by the windows!”

“This is an awesome little gas station. There are only 4 pumps, but it's full service and a cent cheaper than other gas stations and Shells! This is a good deal since you can use gas rewards for an additional $0.05 off each gallon. I had to stop by here for gas twice and service was super efficient each time.”

“Ryan and Jim were absolutely incredible at Kauai Premier Auto. It’s incredibly hard to find this level of quality, honesty, and customer service.
I called late at night extremely stressed about my engine overheating, and they calmly fit me in the very next day to replace my radiator. Drop-off and pick/up were completely seamless. They were transparent with their estimates, communicative throughout the process, & reasonably priced.
They genuinely went above & beyond. After dealing with other shops on the island where I felt like just another paycheck, Ryan and Jim made me feel genuinely taken care of. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know & driving past every other shop on the island to get to Kauai Premier Auto. Very thankful, they have earned a customer for life!
