“Really couldn't say enough good things about working with Jerney at Diamond Girls. She took loads of time with my fiancé and I to make a custom engagement ring using another jewelers ring as inspiration (didn't go with them because we wanted to use a local company, and their customer service was trash). It's not your typical ring and not particularly expensive, but it's what we wanted and were really impressed with how much time she spent making sure everything was going to be made exactly as we wanted. We went with a salt and pepper diamond and a wood-looking finish on in a vintage setting after seeing lots of examples and running through lots of ideas. Her patience and product knowledge are really impressive. We're ecstatic with the results, literally couldn't be happier, and highly recommend this business.”

“I was just wanted to share a very pleasant experience….I visited Boise this past weekend. On this visit I was able to experience a hot spring. Well, I now know that sulfur & sterling silver don’t get along. I walked into Portsches downtown the next morning & asked if there was anything they could do to bring back the shine to my sterling silver jewelry. They were so kind & said they would try. Well, they succeeded & my jewelry is back to being shiny! They could have said “No!” and turned me away…but, they didn’t & I’m so appreciative & grateful!! “I was lucky enough to stumble upon this business upon moving to the area. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew that all the stores I went to seemed to be a bit too sterile and opportunistic, Marvin is the type of person you want when selling or buying precious metals... you don't want a money guy cause' their priority is profit margin - and you don't want a pawn broker cause they deal with too many shady transactions not to be a little shady themselves... What you want a metallurgist and an assayer. Marvin is exceptional at both. His priority is based in the scientific method, in weight and purity which are absolutes, so you get no BS. Beyond that he and his wife are very kind and knowledgeable. Instead of taking my personal, valuable belongings and slamming them on a counter, trying to low ball me and rushing me out the door with a bad deal... Marvin explains the process by which he determines purity, shows you his methods, and never pushes a sale. I learned quite a bit during our appraisal appointment and coming from a mineral exploration background myself, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this. I've checked all around and, Marvin's prices are the best in the region. I can honestly say that going anywhere else to do this sort of business would be a mistake. Friendly, Professional, Transparent. Informative and the Best Deals in town, hands sown!”

“This was my first visit, and I saw this BEAUTIFUL coat there and i originally wasn't going to buy it but i couldnt stop thinking about it for the next two days, so i called in and asked if they still had it and this very nice lady told me they did, so i came in to buy it and i was so excited and my cashier (same lady on the phone) was just as excited and enthusiastic for me. We rung it up and turns out i was just a few dollars short, she immediately offered help and grabbed her manager, and they gave me a few coupons to lower the price. 10/10!!! “This is not meant to be a bad review, actually I feel this is one of the better coin shops in the valley. I simply want to share my experience, so others looking to divest there collections know what they can expect. I walked in with 46 US pennies, dating from 1857 to 1924. The collection included;XF 1877 Indian Head,F 1909 - S Indian Head,VF 1909 - S Wheatback w/VDB,F 1922 Wheatback no D mintmark,VF 1869 Indian HeadVF 1870 Indian HeadVF 1871 Indian HeadVF 1872 Indian HeadThe rest grading from F to VF, with market values from $5 to $250 (PCGS). I had researched current valuations from recent auctions, the PCGS, CoinTracker, AMPEX and NGC price guides, and priced the collection Market Value at $8895.Knowing I would never get this from a coin dealer. I took 45% off and was looking to sell for $5000. When Dan offered to pay $3000, I thanked him for his time and left. After reworking my numbers on the most conservative level, I came up with $3470, more than 60% off market and went back. Dan offered me $3350, citing scratches¿ on several coins. I freely accepted and walked out, no regrets cash in hand. Two weeks later I returned to buy an album for some Eisenhower's, I don't believe Dan recognized me, and while waiting I found 3 of my coins for sale. The (XF) 1877 Indian Head was priced at $1950, the (VF) 1909-S Wheatback w/VDB at $1200 and the (F) 1922 Wheatback w/out D Mintmark listed at $1450. That's $4600 for just three, out of the 46 I had sold. Once again I have no regrets, or intend this to be a poor review, Dan is very professional and easy to deal with. I simply want to convey some idea of what to expect if someone is considering selling their collection to a coin shop and what to be prepared for, if it is your first time dealing with one.”

“The best place for local art and gifts! Find everything from painting to glass to handcrafted jewelry! All of the work is made by local Idaho artists. High quality art in a beautiful setting. Every First Thursday they have an opening reception for a different Featured Artist and live entertainment. There is even a wonderful little gift shop.I love that the art is switched out every month so there is always something new to see! It is staffed by the artists so be sure to ask what they do to get to hear a little about their process. The new location downtown is beautiful, has easy access and plenty of free parking too!”

“I really enjoy my bracelets and neckless from Wild Gemstones. The staff is very patient, kind and helpful. Sierra and Landon were both great to work with (separate visits). There are so many nice things to choose from, this “old bird” had a hard time choosing. Sierra and Landon answered all my questions, made great suggestions, and did not rush me. I like that the stones sold here are all quality sourced and that the jewelry is created by local artisans. Their prices are lower than the other stores (even a few in the same mall) and those others are selling stuff that is made overseas. I prefer to buy local. Wild Gemstones even stands behind their quality, they will repair anything that breaks. Just bring back the loose beads and they will help you. I will definitely be buying more.”
