“Need to Bead is amazing! Sabra and her staff are a treasure trove of knowledge and information!
The store is well organized and with a good layout. They had jewelry findings in a multitude of platings, by the piece or in bags. Perfect if you need a piece for a quick repair or project. There is also gemstone, crystal, mineral, and glass beads by strand or by piece.
The store also carries Czech seed beads and duos. As well as African trade beads, recycled glass beads, vintage beads.
There are also pendants as well in addition to premade bracelets.
I had brought in some beads I had found while decluttering and the staff was more than happy identify my beads and had several suggestions for jewelry repair.”
“I showed up on my way through town unannounced, in search of two gold eagles. John, the owner, went out of his way to go pick a couple up and bring them to me. And he did it fast, to meet my schedule before my flight home. This was despite being clearly busy and having other relevant business to attend to.
He did a sigma gold test for me, without me even asking. Just to be honest and transparent. The prices were fair. The store looked organized and well cared for. I wish I could come back someday and buy some jewelry for my wife from their curated selection.
Who knows, maybe I will stop by again someday. Either way, thanks a bunch John! I forgot the name of your assistant on hand, but he was welcoming, friendly, and conversational too.”

We went to Portsche’s and they took a look at both my band and my wedding ring. We found out we were scammed from Etsy about my ring. The people at Portsche’s were so kind and considerate. “I visit the store, Mixed Grrens in Boise, Idaho at least 2 to 3 times a year for gifts for the ladies in my life. The store always has something interesting that even I as a 57-year-old male can figure out to get the ladies. The staff is always very helpful and kind. And not to forget that they even wrap your gifts, which makes the whole experience of going just wonderful. I can buy my gifts. I can have them wrapped and I can look like I know what the heck I’m doing when I give my gift.
Thank you to the young ladies who are behind the counter that are always there and helpful and willing to answer your questions and help you find things in the store.
I would encourage you, if you’re in the same boat as I am to visit their store and buy your loved ones a gift or two. I would also encourage you to leave the ladies who do an awesome job of wrapping gifts a nice tip. They will tell you they don’t accept tips, all you need to do is say oh that’s nice, and then leave your tip on the counter and let them figure out what they’re going to do with it.
The owners of the store I appreciate how you have the store laid out, it’s always interesting. Please let the staff accept tips. It’s one way I show app appreciation to a job. Well done.

Father and son duo, they were fair and wonderful to work with! Their passion for coins and treating the customer fairly shines through. I highly recommend them for selling anything or buying as they have a massive selection!”

“I have a neighbor that has made a large and beautiful labyrinth out of local rocks. Friends have donated rocks from their travels. I wanted to bring something from Idaho. I stopped at Stewart's Gem to look at the gems and rocks, hopefully to find something for the labyrinth. I didn't expect to find the treasure trove out back, the friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness of Stewart and a few beautiful rocks for my own. I love that place.”

Communication was stellar from start to finish and Melissa was instrumental on all the major and small details I would never have thought of myself. The CADs were very helpful in “seeing” my ring and the possible choices in side stones and prong style. The final product is beautiful and everything I imagined in my head. While we were not remaking the wheel, it is all the fine details like the angles of the stones in relation to each other, ring height off of the finger, sizing, the exquisite polish, etc., that makes my ring and the experience of working with HP Diamonds amazing.
