Today when I got my dog food, someone came up and offered to take my large bag of dog food to the counter so I didn’t have to walk around with it. Then upon check out, without asking, sweetly carried it out to my car for me. Customer service like this is not found everywhere anymore, and I appreciate the genuineness, thoughtfulness & kindness from the staff here.

The groomer listened to our requests and kept his hair and face perfectly trimmed without cutting off too much or too little. The price for a full grooming is hard to beat—the best in town. It was easy to make the appointment and my dog grooming was completed in time. From my dog Tugg's very first visit all the way through to his very last, the entire team was there for us every single step of the way. Special thanks to Dr. Haley Gonzenbach, Dr. Joe Pearson, Katie at the front desk, and everyone else on staff.
Tugg was no walk in the park—he was a 120-pound pain in the butt with his fair share of health and behavioral challenges. He started out as a sweet boy, but sadly developed some aggression issues over time. They easily could have transferred his care for the safety of themselves and the team, but they never gave up on him, and they never treated him any differently for it.
They handled him with the utmost patience, care, and genuine compassion, always doing everything in their power to make visits as easy and stress-free as possible for both him and us.
On top of their incredible quality of care, they are fairly priced and worth every single penny.
I am so deeply grateful for the support and kindness they showed our family over the years. I will 100% be bringing my next pet to Animal Medical Center.

Ewing Animal Hospital

We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.

The trainers have been very helpful in guiding me to improve my understanding of dog behavior and in my ability to get the best behavior out of my dogs. They both also got one on one time with Ayla and Justin and I was always impressed with the noticeable improvements after each session. They are awesome trainers for both humans and dogs! The distraction classes have been the most helpful part of the program, where we have been able to reinforce and instill the right behaviors and obedience both in and out of the classroom setting. I am grateful for all the progress we have made, and look forward to continuing with distraction and specialty classes. The boarding service is also very helpful and the team takes great care of the dogs.

We put her through a shorter Master Dog Class specifically to address our concerns. It was helpful. The trainers there get dogs and are patient to work with the dogs but also reteach the humans how to approach training your dog so that everyone lives in harmony.

All Dogs Unleashed Dog Training Boise
1913 North Wildwood Street, BoiseI can’t thank Noah, Cheyenne and the kennel techs enough! We left our dog Goose with all dogs unleashed for 3 weeks. 1 week of boarding and 2 weeks of training. Goose is a large dog and has shown aggression towards people in the past so finding boarding for an extended period of time was a challenge. I initially spoke to Don on the phone, and all my questions and concerns were answered and recommended I speak to the trainer Cheyenne about Goose’s issues to see if they would be comfortable taking him in. We did a meet and greet with Goose, Cheyenne and Noah and it was very obvious they know how to handle a dog who is uneasy with people.
We just got back from our trip and Goose is happy, healthy, and I’m so impressed with the training he received! He’s sitting nicely in his “place” while I write this. His leash pulling is gone, he seems more focused on me, and we can’t wait to continue the great foundation that you all laid down.
Noah in-particular needs a shout out! Goose takes for ever to warm up to people but he immediately took to liking Noah. Noah is very obviously a skilled dog trainer and loves being with dogs. Thank you for giving Goose the attention he needed while we were gone, you (and the whole staff) made us feel like we were leaving him in great hands while we got to enjoy a trip of a lifetime. Thank you all!!

Chase and the staff have been so helpful in so many ways and I can’t recommend them enough. Fern recently completed her training with Chase and we have seen so much improvement with her reactivity to other dogs when on a leash. I can’t say enough great things about him and everyone else that works with Fern each week she is there. We use house of hounds for day care, boarding, and training and are so thankful we found them. Boise Kennels
2303 North 36th Street, BoiseFive stars don’t feel like enough for Boise Kennels. When the Idaho Humane Society called them on my behalf, they were willing to do whatever it took to help reunite me with my dogs, Scout and Ranger.
During a difficult time, that willingness to help meant the world to me. Scout and Ranger are my family, and the thought of losing them was heartbreaking. Knowing that Boise Kennels was ready to work with us and help find a way forward gave me hope when I needed it most.
Even though we ultimately found another care arrangement, I will never forget their generosity and compassion. They deserve recognition for stepping forward simply because a person and his dogs needed help.

The team is caring, professional, and always quick to respond when I have a question. Most importantly, our pup is clearly happy and comfortable there, and we’ve already noticed improvements in his socialization with other dogs. It’s such a relief to know he’s in good hands and having fun when we can’t be with him. I also love the nightly pictures we received during the staycation and being able to check in on him via one of the cameras. Highly recommend!

The baristas are friendly and easygoing, and because we visit often, we've gotten to know each other pretty well. We always end up having a good conversation when we're there, and that genuine interaction makes the place feel welcoming and comfortable. I also appreciate that they offer green tea, which is surprisingly hard to find done well around here. It may seem small, but it shows they pay attention to little details and to what their customers enjoy. I like that they've extended their hours on Fridays and Saturdays and added Chess Night, which gives people a chance to hang out and relax. It's one of those spots where you can just sit with a drink, talk with people, and feel at ease without any pressure.

Simply Cats
2833 South Victory View Way, BoiseWe adopted our kittens here a couple months here back in July and the experience was amazing and super easy. After meeting the kittens of our dreams, we were able to get them home and set up within the next hour. Simply Cats also made the cost of a new pet so much easier on us - providing a few toys, a blanket for each of them, and providing them with free vaccinations for their first round and their first rabies shot.
Since July, Feyd and Minmo have really come into their own!
Minmo's energy has really skyrocketed - but she's still a big cuddle baby when it comes time to lie down with her dad.
Feyd was originally very independent and while he does still have his moments where he'd like to be by himself, those moments are less 'under the bed out of sight' and more within arms reach - and even then, I've found him glued to my side more often than not. He's also become Very talkative, even more so than his sister.
Now that they're more grown we're seeing them hop up onto new surfaces - last week, Feyd even tried climbing our tapestry in our bedroom, which he quickly learned does Not have the ability to hold his weight. Now he likes to sit on my nightstand staring at it meowing as if I'm somehow able to fix his dilemma.
Overall, we could not be more happy and at bliss with the two of our furry babies. We've got some very chill kittens who are comfortable being put into a carrier and are starting to harness train them to go outside on walks together. Now all we need is to build a new BIGGER cat tree for the house so they can achieve their vertical dreams.
