Today when I got my dog food, someone came up and offered to take my large bag of dog food to the counter so I didn’t have to walk around with it. Then upon check out, without asking, sweetly carried it out to my car for me. Customer service like this is not found everywhere anymore, and I appreciate the genuineness, thoughtfulness & kindness from the staff here.

This is a small office that gives a family run veterinary practice vibe in the best way. I’ve been to many vet clinics around town and some are so corporate feeling that they lose the personalized service. While some are so small it’s difficult to get in to be seen when you have problems. This is just right. The front desk staff are warm and friendly and the techs are knowledgeable and compassionate.
My pup has had several issues and they’ve been very helpful and quickly responsive, especially with filling medications. Glad to have this vet office near us in Boise.

Veterinary Orthopedic and Surgical Care

The surgery went very well and our girl is almost to the point of being fully recovered now. This is the only place I would go if our animals ever have a need for orthopedic care going forward.

2318 N 36th St, BoiseI cannot say enough good things about Ewing Animal Hospital. We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.

The Pet Doctor

I have been taking my two Rottweilers to them for years now and have never had anything happen with the visits that was concerning. I recently got a third Rottweiler in December and they are treating him with just as much love and care as the other two. It has taken me a long time to find a vet who was comfortable and confident around Rottweilers. Some would immediately put a muzzle on them at the beginning of the appointment, which was not helpful. All three of my dogs absolutely LOVE going to the vet and there's no anxiety, aggression or fear from them. Going to the vet is a treat! I know this is because of how all the staff at The Pet Doctor treat my dogs each and every time. This makes me as the owner feel very relieved and grateful. Would totally recommend Dr. Zahller and her whole staff to anyone who's looking for a new vet with a knowledgeable & personal touch!

I took our new Old English Bulldog puppy in a few months ago to establish care. 2.5 months later he became sick with gastrointestinal problems. Seemed like he would have the problems at home…diarrhea, lethargy, etc…. He would get to the Vet and would seem better. Over a period of time with their patience and fortitude the issue was found and he is on the mend. I am so grateful that they didn’t give up and that all their time and tests were affordable. I was kept informed and they were very patient with me and my multiple phone calls as I was nervous. I would definitely recommend Companions to anyone who loves their pet as if they are a member of the family. They are amazing.

Master dog provides the foundation and then the owner has to keep up with training. We've been very happy with the changes we've seen. My dog is quite sensitive and prone to getting over whelmed, so in his case it might have made more sense to give him a break between the two weeks. Otherwise, if you're looking for results Adventure K9 is great!

All Dogs Unleashed Dog Training Boise
1913 N Wildwood St, BoiseI can’t thank Noah, Cheyenne and the kennel techs enough! We left our dog Goose with all dogs unleashed for 3 weeks. 1 week of boarding and 2 weeks of training. Goose is a large dog and has shown aggression towards people in the past so finding boarding for an extended period of time was a challenge. I initially spoke to Don on the phone, and all my questions and concerns were answered and recommended I speak to the trainer Cheyenne about Goose’s issues to see if they would be comfortable taking him in. We did a meet and greet with Goose, Cheyenne and Noah and it was very obvious they know how to handle a dog who is uneasy with people.
We just got back from our trip and Goose is happy, healthy, and I’m so impressed with the training he received! He’s sitting nicely in his “place” while I write this. His leash pulling is gone, he seems more focused on me, and we can’t wait to continue the great foundation that you all laid down.
Noah in-particular needs a shout out! Goose takes for ever to warm up to people but he immediately took to liking Noah. Noah is very obviously a skilled dog trainer and loves being with dogs. Thank you for giving Goose the attention he needed while we were gone, you (and the whole staff) made us feel like we were leaving him in great hands while we got to enjoy a trip of a lifetime. Thank you all!!

We went through the individual training program with her and received excellent results! She does great around our grandkids now. We also don’t have to worry about her darting away. She’s doing wonderful on the leash and she’s looking forward to starting her group lessons. Donny was a wonderful trainer!

As great as the location and beer, the people are better. The owner, Beth, is a ten. The patrons make you feel like family.
They have game nights and food trucks come on the weekends and special occasions.

They even took the time to count out my daughter’s change that she had been saving for her cat. We had the whole place to ourselves for an hour as we met several pairs of kittens. It is incredibly obvious how much these volunteers or helpers care about these cats. I feel lucky to have simply cats in our community and will continue to support their work! Our kittens are precious additions to our home.
