Eagle Veterinary Hospital
48 N Palmetto Ave, EagleThis is an excellent veterinary hospital. We were visiting friends in the Boise area when our dog Hank needed treatment. Dr Kari Reina was able to make an appointment for us on very short notice and examined our dog. I was impressed with her knowledge, experience, and attention to detail. But what was the most important was her kindness and willingness to provide treatment options that allowed us to continue our travels back home. We were treated a valued customers even though we were just visiting. Hank is doing fine now. Thank you to Dr Reina and the whole staff.

Bacquet's Restaurant
1117 E Winding Creek Dr #150, EagleAs usual Bacquet's provided us with another delightful dining experience! We have been here many times and invited some friends for their first time. Everyone loved their dinners, I especially enjoyed the special of the day, Paella. As folks that really appreciate pairing food and wine, the extensive tasting bar is terrific for that perfect match. And a big shout out to our server, Kyra for doing a great job! Thank you Chef Franck

Matty G's Steakburgers & Lobsta' Rolls
2826 S Eagle Rd #100, EagleUpdate: Came here for the second time after being at the local movie theater. Their specialty is the steakburger, and they have many options. This time I tried the Lucky Irish Steakburger with fries. This burger has Swiss Cheese and grilled onions on rye bread. Very good. The fries, once again, were well seasoned and crispy, just the way I like them.
The female server did a great job taking care of us. There were five men in our party, and she offered separate checks, which I really appreciated.
I'm sure I'll be back.
First visit: We came with the idea that we were going to Zeeks and were surprised that it was now Matty G's. To be fair, we hadn't been to Zeeks in some time and understand it closed in November of last year. Our bad. Still, we decided to try it out.
The inside is largely the same as when it was Zeeks--same tables and booths. They have more screens now, and some nice sports memorabilia, including jerseys representing DiMaggio, Starr, and Sammy Baugh.
There seemed to be a lone young female server. She was nice and took good care of us but was quiet and not engaging. That was fine. There were maybe two other small parties in the restaurant.
I ordered the Super Bowl buffalo chicken wrap. It does not come with a side and is $15. The tortilla was slightly charred and of good texture. The chicken was flavorful but I did not get enough of the buffalo sauce. The onions were chunky and I prefer more thinly sliced or diced smaller. Still, not a bad wrap. My wife got the hot dog and fries. The dog was not charred at all and my wife plans to ask that it be so if we come again. The fries are very good, seasoned and crispy.
Like Zeeks, they have the bar and I imagine some good beer selections. I read another review where the person said that this would be a good place to come to watch a game. I would agree with that. I think we will probably come again. I would like to try the Lobster rolls and the burgers.

Sakura Sushi
3210 E Chinden Blvd, EagleSakura Sushi has become one of my favorite restaurants. I order from them regularly, and every meal has been consistently outstanding. My go-to order is the lobster rolls and California rolls, and they're always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The quality is incredibly consistent, which is hard to find.
The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and they always get my special requests right—including making sure I have plenty of extra sauces. It's those little details that keep me coming back.
The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, Sakura Sushi delivers a fantastic experience every time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for some of the best sushi in the area. Five stars!

676 E Riverside Dr, EagleWe had a wonderful experience at Coyne’s! The food was absolutely amazing, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received.
The outdoor patio was beautiful, with gorgeous views that made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we left very impressed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Coyne’s to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere!

Oak Barrel of Eagle Restaurant and Lounge
1065 E Winding Creek Dr, EagleWhat a lovely surprise on our Memorial Day outing today! Since we live off of Hwy. 21 on the way to Idaho City, we don't get to Eagle much. We will definitely return more often to try all of the offerings on the extensive menu.
Kaitlyn, the bartender and our server, was so delightful. She makes a delicious old fashioned and the La Crema Chardonnay was chilled to perfection. Although we missed out on the mussels (they were out), we enjoyed the chowder, the orange roughy with mushroom risotto and the cajun chicken fettuccine very much. Highly recommend!

KB's Burritos - Eagle
2794 S Eagle Rd Ste 160, EagleI'm surprised this place doesn't have a higher rating. The place itself has a cool design and the steak burrito bowl I ordered tasted great at a fair price. I ate there Thursday, and I'm going back today!
