“Knowledgeable, communicative, honest, and most of all, caring. Dr. McGraw and her amazing team is definitely where you should take your nonhuman family members to when they’re in crisis, or just for a routine check up. Never experienced a better vet clinic.”

“My Miyah was a week from delivering her puppies and in some serious trouble.

Almost ivernight she took a drastic turn and suddenly seemed to be losing weight fast, had no energy, and couldn't get enough to drink but couldn't hold anything down. When she didn't even look twice at the bacon I set in front of her, I knew she was going downhill quickly.

I'd been trying to get several clinics to call me back since the night before, but I couldn't get a call from any I had called or messaged online.

The next day after the bacon thing, I started calling everyone and anyone. Sunset was actually the only one to answer my calls. The lady said they could get Miyah in because of a cancelation. We went straight there.

After her visit with the vet, she sent us to the animal ER and didn't charge us for the visit.

They didn't try to run a bunch of tests 1st or anything like that as they felt it would be faster if we went to the animal ER and she felt we needed the test information fast.
She was right.

They were more concerned about my dogs welfare than the dollar.

That meant more than something.”

“Staff was great, incredibly courteous to my wife and I when thinking we had to put our 14yo dog to sleep. Offered plenty of suggestions and got us in on short notice considering the circumstances. Doctor followed up with us. Will definitely be back.”

“We have been through teeth extraction 3 times and it has always been brutal! After the last episode, well we didn’t trust the vets anymore. However we needed another and final teeth extraction. We found midtown vet. Staff were amazing and kind. Said they could take care of our Bailey. From having us sedate her before bringing her in they treated her with care and removed her last 10 teeth. Her recovery is usually a week to 10 days. But with there gentle care the next day she was eating soft dog food like a horse. By day 3 she was playing with her ball and picking it up with her mouth. Incredible, what the right vet and the right care can do! Midtown vet gets 5 stars and our gratitude. Thank you so very much! Cannot recommend them enough.”

“Dr. Bailey is the best vet we've ever had. My wife and I had been in the area for almost 20 years before we moved. Dr. Bailey was by far the best vet we've ever had. She cared about our animals and even gave our dachshund a last meal (biscuits and gravy) before putting her to sleep.

When we moved across the country, she gave our dog medication for driving ~3,000 miles without hesitation, and on short notice. When it came to sending our transcripts to multiple vets, everything happened quickly.

I hope we can find someone that truly cares about our animals the way she did. We went through many vets and thousands of dollars. I wish we happened upon her before wasting so much time everywhere else.

Thank you again for everything you've done for all our animals over the years. We really appreciate it.”

“I brought my cat Diesel in for the first time last week for some complex and troubling symptoms. Everyone at the clinic was amazing and treated both myself and Diesel with compassion. I have worked in the veterinary field for many years so it's hard for me to find a Veterinarian that I like and I'm extremely happy with Lakewood Animal Hospital!!!”

“1) Appointments: this place is popular so when a friendly receptionist was able to squeeze in our never-before-seen puppy within a week onto a schedule booked out for a month, we were impressed 2) Cleanliness: the open lobby is pristine for a business dominated by animals and lacks an anticipated smell often associated with such institutions 3) Friendliness: being greeted by staff bearing warm smiles helps to decrease both owner and pet anxiety in what can be a nerve wracking situation 4) Vet techs: professional, knowledgeable and thorough these techs are more helpful than any encountered in other similar establishments we've visited in years past 5) Veterinarians: for reasons unclear to me, perhaps great contracts for the doctors, this place has assembled an All-Star cast of compassionate pet care experts, such as Drs Thrasher and Reese, who are as competent in their life careers as they are caring for owners.”
