“As a fan of biking and recycling things instead of just tossing them in the bin, this place is fantastic!! Recently went down there for no reason in particular and found carbon bars for the low low. The economy is wayyy to bad to buy anything new so go here, the vibes are way better anyways. Shout out to the crew over there!”
“This is a wonderful little Aquarium. My Grandkids, ages 7 and 13, really enjoyed the interactive pools where they could actually touch fish like sharks and stingrays! You'll see some reptiles too.”
“I’ve been a proud member of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce for many years through my business, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made as a small business owner. The Chamber’s staff and employees are outstanding—professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in the success of the local business community.
They provide an incredible environment for networking, with opportunities for every personality and interest. Whether you want to join a committee, attend events, or engage in community activities, there’s always something of value. Their tiered membership levels make it easy for businesses of all sizes to get involved and find the right fit.
The Chamber is a powerful resource for small businesses—offering education, leadership development, and connections that truly make a difference. If you want to grow your network, improve your leadership skills, or be more involved in the Meridian community, this is the place to do it.
Everyone at the Chamber is wonderful to work with. They care deeply about our city, and it shows in everything they do. I’m grateful for their dedication, and I highly recommend joining if you want to connect, grow, and be part of something that’s making a real impact in Meridian.”

“I love this shop! The collection they have curated is interesting and I like reading about the countries and artists represented. It's not in a typical shopping destination area, but it's close to everything downtown and is worth the side trip.”
“FANTASTIC company! I am trying to train my brain to give my stuff to Love INC, instead of the regular charities I have for years. Thank u LI for alllll u do!!!”

“I have not yet visited the 'school' / 'learning experiment lab' called, Stone One, in Idaho but based on their video; their values and philosophy I'd say they are far ahead of the 'education' game and that the world WILL soon indeed be a better place because of them!!”
“Took my GSD here to be spayed and they took great care of my girl. She's got some anxiety issues, which they recognized and adjusted to immediately. Prices were much more reasonable than what my own vet was going to charge.
The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because the drop off process is a little cumbersome.
First, you stand in line to get your intake form and are given a number. Once all intake forms are handed out, you wait in your car until you see your number in the window and then you take your pet in.
I actually appreciate that part bc most pets are already nervous enough, BUT, it was raining while we were waiting for our intake forms/numbers so that wasn't fun and, if the parking lot is full (which it was) and you're parked further away, you won't necessarily see the numbers in the window. I had to move my car a couple times before I was able to see and noticed several others had to do the same thing.
Again, they did a great job and the process overall is fine, just a little soggy for us, and I would recommend & use them again.”
“I've never felt so at home or that I belong/am meant to be somewhere. Dana's Dharma Talks are easy to digest and resonate well, she's extremely wise but also speaks lightly and uses humor often. In parting with this Sangha I always feel like my lenses and heart are wiped clean. It's one stop in my week that no matter what is going on in my life I make it and am always grateful when I depart. ☸️”

“My wife and I love this place. Such big hearts and help so many families. They are doing the memory albums for the kids at U of I. They work miracles for the family’s. Thank you Jacki for your service!”
“Love finding odds and ends here. However do you close at 6pm like the door and Google hours say? OR do you close at 5:45, 5:50 so your staff can leave right at 6pm? Because TWICE now (on a Thursday) I have come by at those exact times and doors LOCKED. Workers are inside. Just locking doors early. Very frustrating for those who get off and are rushing traffic to make it for a quick run in. Just to find it already closed early. Very FRUSTRATING!!”

“Our son was diagnosed dyslexic in 4th grade, reading at a 2nd grade level. We started tutoring then and by 6th grade he was caught up with his peers AND had gained an unmeasurable amount of confidence. This is one expense we will never regret, well worth every penny!”

“We've shopped at different HfH restores in many states and this one is pretty nice. It's well organized, clean, well lit, and the prices are great. I love that the doors have sizes written on them and most everything is priced clearly. The staff is nice and super helpful. Ricky was awesome, he knew about so many products that were in the store, where they were and what he had in stock! There is plenty of parking even if you have a trailer. ** They even have monthly specials, this month is 50% off hardwood flooring, 10% off tile, and tables and chairs were discounted also!!!”
“What can I saw about what I know about Girl Scouts is their cookies they sell each year to bring in money to support the on going Girl Scouts association. They do have a very nice headquarters here in Boise I feel is a bit to fancy and probably cast a pretty amount of money to keep it operating and the grounds. The girls really enjoy making new friends and they learn skills they can use for the rest of their lives.”
“Camp Rainbow Gold has been a blessing to our two daughters and our family. It literally changes these kids lives for the better. Giving them one week where they don’t have to worry about a thing!”
“I've always been welcomed here in this YMCA...even as a guest B4 my membership w no different treatment. Roy, Karen, the leadership here as it dripples down to the 2 young men at the front desk are heroic and undescribable when it comes to words..thx guys for making me feel at home
Gratefully,
~Bobby?~”
“So far with chatting with them they are super sweet people and definitely know what they’re doing I so hope I can volunteer and help these guys out as much as I can!”
“After a death and separately hospitalization in the family we were very desperate to rehome 2 dogs and 2 cats. We could take in one of the dogs but were unable to rehome the others. After being turned away from other shelters, Bri from the humane society took the time to listen to our story and was very helpful. I am extremely grateful to the people at the humane society as we were overwhelmed with funeral arrangements, emotional stress and making long term care arrangements.”
“They're amazing to work with, and get help from. They have many services and they barley charge anything. They get everything to the best of their ability and a timely manner considering everything crazy going on right now.Wether that is legal services or related to immigration, the place is the best. Many refugees though expect much more of what the place can offer, due to the fact that they have a very false narrative of how things are in the U.S. before coming here, yet regardless, IRC always try the best to give the best services they can, and they always deliver.Compared to other offices in other states, the boise IRC office is in the top 3 for sure in my opinion!”
“The staff here are beyond amazing, and the environment is so welcoming. I've taken a couple of friends there and went in myself. The sense of relief, just being able to talk and receive thoughtful feedback and questions, is amazing!”
“We had a very good time at the Goodwill store. We weren't looking for anything specific ....just looking around and found some fun things...yarn and a couple of suitcases were the favorite.”
“Honestly one of the cleanest thrift stores ever! I'm from out of the area and the prices were staggeringly low!! Absolutely *had* to buy something on principle. Also, very friendly staff :)”
“This is such a friendly and welcoming space that provides so many services to the community! In addition to affordable studio spaces, they offer a food pantry, counseling services, and various support groups that are open to anyone in need.”
