3060 E State St, EagleWe went into NW Pets to get a tiny harness for a new dog we adopted from the humane society. Not only did they take the time to help fit him with the right harness, they also let us know about the FREE adoption bundle they offer. Because we adopted our dog from the Humane Society, we got a small bag of high quality food, two bags of high quality treats, bone broth, etc. So, So nice they offer this!! In all it was about $80.00 worth of supplies. They won our business from now on!

48 N Palmetto Ave, EagleThis is an excellent veterinary hospital. We were visiting friends in the Boise area when our dog Hank needed treatment. Dr Kari Reina was able to make an appointment for us on very short notice and examined our dog. I was impressed with her knowledge, experience, and attention to detail. But what was the most important was her kindness and willingness to provide treatment options that allowed us to continue our travels back home. We were treated a valued customers even though we were just visiting. Hank is doing fine now. Thank you to Dr Reina and the whole staff.

If you don't like good food that's fine save it for the ones who do. Been to Germany a few times and this slapped just as hard. Bodacious Pig Barbecue
34 E State St, EagleI love that this is a drive up style restaurant! The man helping me was very knowledgeable about the food y’all serve, and gave me great suggestions about what I should order. He told me about the best beef, pork, and hyped up the quality of their burgers. I went with the beef option, Tri tip sandwich. Omg, I was in love at first bite. The spicy bbq sauce is addicting and I would love to try a sandwich that is slathered in it. I can handle it ;) Also, the Mac and cheese is so delicious!!

1065 E Winding Creek Dr, EagleI have gone to Oak Barrel multiple times, same with my husband and friends. We went the Saturday before Christmas and it was the busiest we've ever seen it, which was awesome! Atmosphere was good and welcoming, our server was nice but a bit absent-minded and had to come to our table multiple times to check that the order was correct. My drink was incredibly expensive with only two ingredients- versus some of their speciality cocktails had tons of things and were cheaper...bit odd but okay. Our (four of us) biggest issue was the food itself. The bruschetta was amazing and the meatballs were decent. My salmon was fine and friends' steaks met with their approval. My husband's steak, not so much. He asked for a rare to medium-rare steak - we got a medium to almost well done steak. He told our waitress and she said if he wanted they could redo it, but he was the last served. So he told her no, he didn't want to make the kitchen have to redo it (with how busy the night was) and make the rest of the table wait. Not entirely sure we will be back unfortunately. Edit update due to comment response: Thank you for the comment! We did enjoy our time for the most part for sure! To answer a comment - the check was not adjusted.

Rib Shack Barbecue
395 W State St, EagleRib Shack saved our Thanksgiving!! Due to a change in plans we decided to order out for Thanksgiving but unfortunately, it was the day of when we decided. We called around to a bunch of places, all of which were either closed or weren't accepting orders. The lovely family owners of Rib Shack initially told us the same as they were putting together their pre-orders already and we're closed for their family get together. Shortly after, they called us back and offered to help us with a meal. They put together a spread of meats, sides, cornbread, and even a delicious dessert very quickly and have us a phenomenal price as the icing on the cake. They were kind, generous, and the food was excellent! We will definitely be back for more! Thank you for your kindness and willingness to help our family have a terrific last minute meal!!

Honestly better than other burrito restaurants I’ve tried. Make sure to try the Jordan Burrito, it has a unique flavor that’s different but truly addictive. Totally recommend it.

1592 E Riverside Dr suite 10, EagleI had stopped going here as my last visit was unimpressive. They've turned it around. Lasagna was awesome and pizzas delicious. I finally found a GREAT pepperoni pizza..actually completely covered with pepperoni. Compliments to the chef! Service was also outstanding for our group of 8. We'll be back.
