Northwest Pets
3060 E State St, EagleWe went into NW Pets to get a tiny harness for a new dog we adopted from the humane society. Not only did they take the time to help fit him with the right harness, they also let us know about the FREE adoption bundle they offer. Because we adopted our dog from the Humane Society, we got a small bag of high quality food, two bags of high quality treats, bone broth, etc. So, So nice they offer this!! In all it was about $80.00 worth of supplies. They won our business from now on!

Eagle Veterinary Hospital
48 N Palmetto Ave, EagleThis is an excellent veterinary hospital. We were visiting friends in the Boise area when our dog Hank needed treatment. Dr Kari Reina was able to make an appointment for us on very short notice and examined our dog. I was impressed with her knowledge, experience, and attention to detail. But what was the most important was her kindness and willingness to provide treatment options that allowed us to continue our travels back home. We were treated a valued customers even though we were just visiting. Hank is doing fine now. Thank you to Dr Reina and the whole staff.

The Schnitzel Garten
1225 E Winding Creek Dr, EagleUnreal, what an absolute gem. Nothing but positive things to say about this place and I can't believe the 1 star review I saw. If you don't like good food that's fine save it for the ones who do. Been to Germany a few times and this slapped just as hard. So thankful they take the time to do it right and the hospitality is impeccable. What a great an experience! We will be back asap.

Dutch Bros Coffee
51 S Urban Gate Ave, EagleOk but we asked for 3 kids surprise drinks, 1 adult soda surprise and a lemon lime rebel. The barista didn’t want to give us a variety and gave us all lime flavored drinks ? I’ve never had this happen before we’ve always gotten variety’s of flavors for surprises…

Bacquet's Restaurant
1117 E Winding Creek Dr #150, EagleLately, Bacquet's has been a place of choice to celebrate special events. This is a quaint little restaurant that offers excellent and unique food and beverage choices. Because it's smaller and the acoustics are great have a much greater sense of privacy when you're holding a special occasion. The owner, Chef Franck Bacquet, who brings international experience, often stops by your table with some interesting comments.

Sakura Sushi
3210 E Chinden Blvd, EagleProbably some of the best sushi in the valley that I've had. The smoked salmon is seriously smoked, making the Philadelphia roll incredible. The Alaska Roll was the best version I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh. I did take away and ate it at home. I made a miso soup with shittake mushrooms, nori, ginger, bok choy, scallions, chili oiland the soup paired with the sushi incredibly. I will definitely be back soon.

Oak Barrel of Eagle Restaurant and Lounge
1065 E Winding Creek Dr, EagleI have gone to Oak Barrel multiple times, same with my husband and friends. We went the Saturday before Christmas and it was the busiest we've ever seen it, which was awesome! Atmosphere was good and welcoming, our server was nice but a bit absent-minded and had to come to our table multiple times to check that the order was correct. My drink was incredibly expensive with only two ingredients- versus some of their speciality cocktails had tons of things and were cheaper...bit odd but okay. Our (four of us) biggest issue was the food itself. The bruschetta was amazing and the meatballs were decent. My salmon was fine and friends' steaks met with their approval. My husband's steak, not so much. He asked for a rare to medium-rare steak - we got a medium to almost well done steak. He told our waitress and she said if he wanted they could redo it, but he was the last served. So he told her no, he didn't want to make the kitchen have to redo it (with how busy the night was) and make the rest of the table wait. Not entirely sure we will be back unfortunately. Edit update due to comment response: Thank you for the comment! We did enjoy our time for the most part for sure! To answer a comment - the check was not adjusted.

Rib Shack Barbecue
395 W State St, EagleThis was our first time trying Rib Shack, but it not be the last! The variety of smoked meats is fantastic and the level of smoke is on point: not too much or too little. We had ribs ends, burnt ends and turkey. Generous portions with quality product. Then, there are the sides: So many sounded delicious, but we got the bbq beans and mac n cheese. Both were some of the best we've ever had and we've eaten our fair share of BBQ in the south. We were excited to try their wide variety of sauces, which did not disappoint. The South, Bama and Cherry Bourbon were favorites. Finally, the service was what brought it all home. Our server, Kota, was informative, intuitive and hospitable. He was one of the best we've had. We can't wait to go back soon and indulge in great food and warm hospitality.
