“We went into the bank and met the loan officer, Chase, and he worked with us and helped us in every detail that had to be done. If I couldn't figure out what the message wanted me to do, I would go into the bank and he would help me. Always so professional and willing to help and they knew their job and answered every question we had written down. It took longer than we thought it would but he kept us updated with each step. Another loan officer, Kyle, was needed to work with us and he was great also. We always felt they were helping us to accomplish the task not just a job. “Long story short, my family and I are moving to Hawaii. I had a major issue with my companies first check being deposited. (Company is legit. But funds were going to be held due to the amount and it being a company I hadn't worked for before). It was leaving us halfway across the world, practically stranded. One call to Laura, the branch manager, with an explanation of the situation was all it took. 15 minutes later she called back and had a portion released. I have a baby and my wife here. “Outstanding customer service with Rosio G and very helpful staff. Originally scheduled to complete title transfer with third party and other employee who was unavailable. Rosio knew nothing of fairly complex transaction, but immediately got to work to make it happen. Got rooms for everybody to sit, organized the loan package, power of atty, title paperwork etc... Her smile never left her face. Phenomenal people skills with my 90 yr old MIL. Very kind and patient. Completed the whole transaction in 40 minutes and we were out the door. Have not seen this type of professional skill and take charge attitude in a long time. She took the bull by the horns and made it happen. Would have been a huge inconvenience for all of us had she not decided to jump in and do what needed to be done. Very impressive!”

“I've been a member for years now and I absolutely love this bank. I go inside weekly and most of the employees know me by first name now. That level of service isn't present everywhere anymore. Any time I've had an issue it has been rectified quickly. Definitely go with these guys!”
“Sometimes the fees are $15 just to transfer money to this account. Have had some issues with the 9 day grace period was told something different from what the policy is. They fixed this. They say they accept Mastercard but they don’t accept my Mastercard. There are too many fees that are hidden.”

I spoke with Jessica who I believe is the asst. mgr there. We reviewed a few other things about my accounts with ICCU as well. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and willing to help. “The employees cheerfully spent 2 hours helping me consolidate my accounts into an easier grouping. They were all very helpful to me and to each other. They also provided excellent and cheerful assistance to other patrons when they came in, always leaving at least one worker helping me. They even sent me a nice thank you note. In other words they went over and above their call of duty.”

“This week I bought my first car and got my first ever loan. After a very annoying process online with some misinformation from another ICCU employee, I was helped by an incredibly kind and patient employee. Kyler (and Kelly towards the end) spent about 5 hours working with me while I worked out co-signers and documents and fought the lenders for me. But in the end I got my loan and left with a check same day. Although I’m not impressed with the over the phone employee I’m extremely impressed with the service at this ICCU! Thank you Kyler!”

“Kelsey with CapEd in the Mortgage and Operations Center is wonderful! Super helpful, responsive and reliable. I worked with her when I refinanced my SUV earlier this year. During this process I learned that you don’t have to be an educator to bank with CapED. Also, more recently, I switched insurance companies and still had her email contact so I emailed her a question about submitting my new insurance info. She helped me with this and our conversation lead to her offering CapED resources available to me as a federal employee during this current government shutdown. Kelsey was kind, quick and efficient. “I was recently approved for a loan eith Cap Ed on some home repairs, but have never banked with them before. I applied online and was very impressed with the remote experience. My loan officer Daniel has been stellar going through each phase, which has been super helpful in my busy life.
However, the last step of going into the branch to open an account was both the icing and cherry on top of this cake. Their customer service is nothing short of exemplary! I was THAT guy who sailed through the doors literally at the last minute to complete this step, twice mind you, and they did not hesitate to make me feel like a VIP both times.
