“This place has a nice selection of food and household supplies. While some of the items are more expensive than you may find at the supermarket, they are the only place in Salmon you'll find many of the more 'specialty' items. I like the bulk foods they offer, and in particular regularly get the local honey they sell. It reminds my of the natural food co-op I used to have in another Idaho town where I lived. It is nice to have a place like this available in our small town.”

“I grew up in salmon and back when I was a kid before I moved away the corner store was called J&L until it was sold and I call it that still to this day.The stores been around for many years,even when my dad was a kid and it’s no surprise that it’s falling apart and has issues,Old buildings and Houses tend to do that.I’m surprised the building is still standing and is in the decent condition it is being around since the 50s. I think it’s a great little store and instead of going down the bar hill, or if your going up the hill,you can stop there instead.It has some items that Saveway doesn’t”

Prices a bit high but not; really more than the ONE big grocery in Salmon (Savway) and Baker store items are much higher quality than what Savway offers so its worth it.Staff are always kind and helpful.
