Po Box 1431, SandpointWe cannot recommend Rick highly enough! We recently brought our 14-year-old Schnauzer to him, and it was nothing short of a miracle what he was able to do. Our pup had become increasingly aggressive toward grooming in his old age, and we were at a complete loss after his fur had grown too long, matted, and even picked up burrs after a run through a burdock patch.
Rick handled the situation with incredible patience, skill, and compassion. He managed to carefully and completely trim all of our dog's fur-even in the most difficult and sensitive areas-without causing distress. He also did a full nail trim, which is no small feat with our senior dog. We were amazed by the results and deeply grateful for the way Rick treated our dog with such understanding and care.
It's clear Rick is not only highly skilled but truly loves what he does. He turned what could have been a traumatic experience into one of relief and trust. We're officially repeat customers!

As an owner of 2 geriatric dogs I feel listened to and helped whenever I have any problems. Donna at the front desk is so personable and kind, and Dr. Kellner is the only vet in town I trust with my animals health. I so appreciate everything they do for me and my pets. Thank you so much.

Brussles was a bit overcooked but still delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and shrimp had amazing seasoning. The service was great as well. Will return back next time.

We stopped at the Sandy Beach Snack Shack while on our family vacation in Idaho, and it was the perfect beach treat! The snacks were great, and the ice cream was absolutely delicious — such a fun way to enjoy a sunny day at the beach. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We loved how convenient it was to walk right from the sand to the snack shack and back again. It made the whole beach day even more enjoyable. A must-visit spot if you’re spending time at Sandy Beach, Idaho!

Their community-minded approach really shines through in everything they do. The staff is welcoming, the space feels positive and inclusive, and you can tell they genuinely care about the people they serve.
My top pick is the Southwest Rice Bowl: seriously one of the best plant-based meals you’ll find anywhere. So good! (Really, everything is so tasty; you can't go wrong.)
If you’re plant-based, plant-curious, or just want great food that makes you feel good, Heart Bowls should be at the top of your list. A true Sandpoint favorite.

We had our camper and choose Matchwood because of the public parking lot adjacent to the brewery. I am very glad this was the spot we stopped. Everything about this place was beyond fantastic. Awesome building, inside and out. Awesome and seeming never ending outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Great food. Great beer. My wife and I got the Tacos here, omg there were fantastic!! I got the Chimicurri Tacos and she got the Bama Tacos. Both were fantastic but we both greatly favored the Bama Tacos. For food, location was one of the best breweries I've visited.
