“This is a pretty incredible place, especially for a small Midwestern town. Has a small market and what I guess I would call a vegetarian deli with many vegan dishes and options. Everything tasted fantastic. Just a wonderful treat of a place.”

“It is a good place to get the things you need for a low price. My only complaint here is that they have a limited selection on some important items. Though you definitely can get some worthwhile deals on alot of everyday items. From trashbags to soap and all manner of Healthcare products.”

“I've grown up with Hi-Lo Grocery. I prefer coming here than anywhere. Very down home, always helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They treat you like you matter! They STILL carry you groceries our for you if you need help! NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE! BOTH Hi-Los are true TREASURES! The one in Abingdon is the one I grew up shopping at. Now that I'm in Galesburg, I live to shop here too! THEY BOTH HAVE THE BEST HAM SALAD IN THE WORLD!!! I cannot say enough great things about Hi-Lo so I'll stop rambling now. SERIOUSLY, a stress free shopping experience!”

“I don't have a Hy Vee store near me so I only go to them when I travel and I will take them over Walmart. I saw the Hy Vee on the way to my hotel and I new I would be back later for some stuff for the fridge which I'm not going to bore you with. Hy Vee reminds me of Meijer with the great produce as you walk in and the great deli cases as you round the store and let's not forget the nice fresh seafood case. I was able find everything I was looking for and and get out quickly because unlike Walmart they have plenty of registers open with friendly people waiting to help you.”
