“In all the years since this stores opening, i have only ever had 1 negative experience. It was because i entered the store without wearing a mask because i am a severe asthmatic and struggle to breathe as is. The manager yelled at me for not wearing a face covering. I explained my situation and let her know i did have a mote from my doctor stati g that i am inable to wear any type of face covering and why. She the. Informed me that i was fi e to do my ahopping that day, but i better have a mask on whe. J came back in the store any orher time after that. I reminded her of my doctor's note, where i was told it was probably a fake and she didnt care wjat issues i have because corporate said everyone had to wear a mask to enter the store. I did however receive an apology from the manager later that day when i had to go back to the store. I wore a face covering and because i did, i had a severe asthma attack in the store. An ambulance had to be called and i had to be put on a nebulizer and then oxygen for a while. The manager said she felt she was to blame and apologized to me for causing me to have a medical emergency and added stress. Other than that, the employees are kind and very helpful.”

“Hyvee did a lovely job on our wedding cake and we couldn’t be happier. They communicated with us the day before and of and were timely in dropping it off. It was equally as beautiful as it was tasty and the sheet cakes were enjoyed by roughly 300 guests! I would strongly recommend the red velvet, vanilla buttercream and strawberry whipped!”

“We are very thankful and so blessed to have had Hilo Grocery Store remain on S Seminary Street, Galesburg, IL, 61401, for over 50 years open, running, and still going strong, Amen. Nobody no where in the entire USA can beat Hilo Grocery Store's Meat #1 quality and The Best Prices around for the entire stores continued business. This week unfortunately, we have been given some bad news. The latest owner has sold the business, and rumor has it that it's not going to have groceries anymore, and this IS bad news for everyone in this neighborhood especially. We have heard liquor only, will be sold from there in the near future. Devastated, deprived, and destroyed will this community become even more. So sad to see you go Hilo Grocery Store. Thank you for all of your delicious and nutritious fresh fruits and vegetables, finest meat I have ever and will have in my life, and the best mustard potato salad I will ever have and forever miss. Thank you for all the memories. We love you and will forever miss you.❤️?”

“I don't have a Hy Vee store near me so I only go to them when I travel and I will take them over Walmart. I saw the Hy Vee on the way to my hotel and I new I would be back later for some stuff for the fridge which I'm not going to bore you with. Hy Vee reminds me of Meijer with the great produce as you walk in and the great deli cases as you round the store and let's not forget the nice fresh seafood case. I was able find everything I was looking for and and get out quickly because unlike Walmart they have plenty of registers open with friendly people waiting to help you.”

“It is a good place to get the things you need for a low price. My only complaint here is that they have a limited selection on some important items. Though you definitely can get some worthwhile deals on alot of everyday items. From trashbags to soap and all manner of Healthcare products.”
