“Linda is always helpful with answering questions I have about shipping. She speaks with knowledge and makes it simple to understand my needs when shipping. She always says hi and greets you with a smile. I come to this location daily and never have I felt uncomfortable stepping into this location as I have in others. I just want to thank her for all the hard work she puts in day in and day out. Definitely a gem at this location.”
“Shout out to Shion (sp?) At FRG post office. This morning she appeared to be a one-man-show and totally handled it like a champ. A very unpleasant patron was in front of me and giving her a hard time. She kept her cool and was professional. Hard to work with the public but she does great!”
“This is by far the best postal service location I’ve ever frequented and am grateful it’s in our hometown. The staff are friendly, helpful, efficient, and fast. As a result, there are hardly ever any lines, but if there are a couple of people in line, you’re usually waited on in under a few minutes.”
“Anna (Wauconda IL) is a knowledgeable, friendly and quick behind the counter worker - I am delighted to be able to ship packages through her as she never disappoints!”
“What a great post office! Parul provided excellent information to help me with my complicated questions! Thank you Parul. I will definitely be back and I recommend the post office to everyone.”
“I recently moved to this area and whenever I go to this post office there is only 1 lady working at the front all by herself! my father used to work in the post office & their job is super hard so therefore we should be supportive for all the postal workers who are working and treat them with respect.”
“Pernice is amazing ! She provided me the best customer service and went above and beyond for me. She helped me fill out my documents (without knowing I forgot my glasses). She really made my day.”
“I recently moved back to this area and I rely on the Carpentersville Post Office to process all my requests like hold mail, etc. The customer service here is excellent.”

“I started going here last summer when my wife and I moved into our new apartment. Wow! Just wow! Angela is not only a terrific postal lady, she is a wonderful person. She is a glass half full person EVERY time I pop in. She helps me find great stamps to use with my students and always compliments me on how I address and stamp my mail! She just makes you feel good about your experience there and you leave with smile on your face ready to face the rest of your day!”

“I had a wonderful experience getting a passport for our daughter! If you can get a hold of Stephen, there is no one better in Chicagoland. This guy is a real standout amongst the many experiences I have had in the USPS circuit!”
“While I read all the reviews for this post office, I have to laugh.
I see so many complaints about the employees.
I go there frequently and have never had an issue with any employees. They are always very courteous to me. Sometimes when I am in a hurry and there is a longer line, I will use the self-service station. No one showed me how to use it. It walks you through menus as to what is needed. Weighs the package and gives you shipping options.
The employees here do not deliver your mail. They take your prepackaged items to assist with postage; how much it will cost for your different options.
They are not Packaging experts. They are not trained in how to package your items. (that I am aware of) They are there to assist you with the options for shipping and postage.
Assuming most people would know who, the package is being shipped to and where they live for the return address. But reading some reviews it is quite questionable to me the common knowledge to ship a letter or package. Who you are and who it is going to.
Go to Youtube:
Search: how to mail a package at the post office.
There are many videos to help if you do not know how to send a package or letter.
I have never done their job. I can see sometimes they are doing other things than assisting customers. Does this mean they need to stop their jobs tasks?
For just one week try to put yourself in their place.
I do work in customer service and would like to believe that I do a very good job. Unfortunately, I/you cannot please everyone.
There are rules and regulations at USPS. They are doing their best to assist all customers.
Please give them a break and be kind. kindness is contagious”
“Great employees here! I’ve shipped several items over the last few months through this location and the service is always top notch. Employees are informative, which helped me save money on shipping options. I will definitely continue to use their services :)”
“I don't think many of these negative reviews are warranted. I have gotten very good and friendly service. Occasional mishaps happen but they are always helpful in getting them resolved.”
