“Every time I have been to Chavelita's the staff has been extremely welcoming and helpful! Love the variety of goods they have to offer. Quality items and fresh.
Update, just went back and still so impressed with the quality of items and the wide variety!”
“Clean store. Wall to Wall row after row of So many different kinds and varieties of alcohol to choose from. One Wall is nothing but coolers packed full of alcohol.”

“Nice clean gas station and well laid out. Bathrooms are clean and fully stocked. I got some diet soda and beef jerky. The girl at the register looks very tired. I think it's time someone comes and relieves her”
“Good clean gas station. Employees are nice and courteous. I go there all the time and lately I haven't seen all the panhandlers that used to hang out there, which is always a good thing.”
“Great quick stop for finger foods, gas and Lottery tickets. Friendly staff. This neighborhood service station/quick mart has lucky winning scratch off tickets ? I regularly win amounts $100 and below but I know that eventually I will get a big win from Jethros??”
“Always stocked up and they sell alcohol. Near the police station, well lighted area also has a running car wash. Restroom is generally usable but remember where you are.”
“New to the neighborhood and my one request when house hunting was being near a walkable grocery shop and Gustine Market is the place! Whether you need one single thing to complete your dish or a bottle of wine to get the night started, Gustine has the goods! The free samples at the register are a nice bonus too.”

“Ms. Cindy is the only reason why I go there during the day. She is very hardworking but the night shift is most definitely different and lazy. Pick a time when you are going to close up and run to the window. I'm sure 9 pm is way too early. Do better”
“Quick stop market in the hood that does good business! We always support them when we're in the neighborhood and need anything. They offer groceries, snacks, ATM, lotto, tobacco products, vapes, medicine, energy drinks, soda, cell phone accessories, bill pay, ice, water, frozen foods, wine, ice cold beer, liquor, and more! There's also a handicapped accessible entrance and plenty of parking!”
“They serve hot food so try the chicken it's real good...They stay busy but only because they have a good cook name Taco and he puts his all when he makes the food”

“The guys that work night they are all very nice and helpful. The food is ok the buns on the sandwiches not good they r always hard on the bottoms that's from leaving them under the lights all day because they only make them once a day and that's at 9:00 am every morning. The food is going down hill fast. Larry's a pretty good cook he does keep the chicken fresh. He don't mind helping customers when needed. Hated to see Lisa go she always made me laugh and smile.”
“Oh my goodness I’m so glad I read the reviews tried it - I would’ve never seen this place off the street and thought “yes” but YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT A SHOT. 10/10 would recommend. It’s hot and fresh. The seasoning on the fish is perfect. They also sell Natalie’s cake slices! I’ll definitely be back.”

“It's a gas station. No complaints, it's clean and as expected. Bathrooms can use a little cleaning but I don't fault the employees. I fault the nasty individual who leaves public restrooms in a mess like they own the place”

“Beautifully very well maintained gas station. The location is central into the area in place of Granite city that is well kept it is actually one of the best cleaned and maintained quick trips in the area with a perfect experience in customer service. It is across from the hospital located centrally by the other areas of fast food; a subway, rally’s, and a McDonald’s. There are parks across the street and down the street, this is a QuikTrip located in downtown Granite city in the up-and-coming arts District and the customer service provided is perfect the kitchen has cooked to order delicacies, croissants, breakfast or pizza/lunch. As well as pastries with specialty coffees and Espresso of every variety possible! Safe place, as it’s a police sub station I believe most are and sits by the police stations as well!”

“I ordered a sandwich from the kitchen and paid for it and a soda, which I didn’t have yet. I went back and filled a cup and was in the process of finding a lid when my sandwich order was called for pickup. I went and grabbed my order. As i turned around, a young male worker, who had been stocking and cleaning near the fountains, greeted me with the correct lid, straw, and napkin. That’s service! Didn’t catch his name but it was on Saturday 10/28 in the afternoon.”

“Quick stop-and-shop station for gas, lotto, money orders, tobacco products, candy, chips, water, soda, snacks, and other small grocery items. It's a walk-up window service, not allowed inside entry. The lot is big with Handicap accessible parking and service.”
“This is a wonderful place to work also just visit the staff r very friendly and the owner is the best boss ever he will not tolerate being rude to customers if in collinsville be sure and visit ?❤”
“Been coming here for many years, really love this place! Small store, but jam-packed full of products. Anytime I’m in the area I stop in, and I usually find something new to try.Good little produce section (today I got some tiny guavas and they always have watercress!).Authentic Nepalese products in the “back room”, but all kinds of other international foods that you won’t necessarily find anywhere else throughout the store.Good prices and always clean and bright. Customer service from everyone is great - I love the owner, he’s always nice and helpful. They do have a small parking lot, but I suggest parking on the street. Doesn’t look like much from the road, but you’ll be glad you’ve gone in!”
“FRIENDLY GUY HARD WORKING. YOU CAN FIND CERTAIN THINGS THERE THAT YOU DONT USUALLY SEE OUTSIDE OF THE BIG CHAIN MARKETS. I STOP BY EVERYTIME IM IN THE AREA FOR SURE.”
“After a military career, my husband decided to retire and work as a CDL driver. With our kids grown and military life instilling in me, us, insatiable wanderlust, I joined him OTR full-time. In four years, surely our truck stop visits number well over 1.000. Carol, the general manager of this store, whom I met because she's hustling everywhere greasing a well-operating machine, is outstanding. We spent the day in Alonton waiting to T-call, then deliver. Up with the sun, walking a dog, I observed lush grass with no muddy ruts. Well-maintained and clean garbage cans with zero clutter. No debris gathered in parking lot hidey holes. Even concrete and painted curbs. No odd water or greasy patches. I noted, during numerous trips inside, start and end use date labels on condiment bottles. A hustling staff, each one greeting me upon entry. Enough staff so, as a customer, I don't presume corporate greed squeezing a few poorly paid people dry at customer service expense. As we did laundry and relaxed in the lounge, I asked a passing staff member if we could change the channel and a locked closet in the room was opened, a channel decided, then the remote locked up. No waiting for someone to come with it or trading a license for the privilege. I reported a maybe, probably not plumbing issue to a janitor, and he said he'd report it right away. I observed GM Carol interacting with the public and employees. She was respected by staff, and treated them with respect. She commanded respect without demanding it. She got mine as I listened to her interview three job candidates quickly, efficiently compassionately in the clean, comfortable truckers lounge. I watched her pipe icicg when help was needed, open a drawer and start ringing sales to alleviate a huge rush. Our hot deli items were fresh, properly cooked and properly kept on the line. As a former Army food service sergeant, I know a high-quality food service operation when I see one. GM Carol oversees one. Most of all, I could tell she understands the role truck stops play in our lives, respects the work truckers do and given the various populations that are in and out of her Flying J Travel Center, does her job with pleasant assertiveness tempered by sensitivity. Give her a raise and use her store and management style as a best practices example. Oh yeah, and she liked my dog and let her staff meet and greet our beloved trucker dog. ?”
