“receptionists, please for the safety and peace of mind towards your guests [especially guests who are women] DO NOT say their room number out loud. i might not be a target, but i've heard stories of OTHERS whose safety has been at risk and compromised [not here, but from social media stories that people actually experienced]
anyway, check in was fine. i was the only guest in the lobby i don't know if she was used to doing that since i'm sure she's been on that job for a while .. she said my room number aloud. which ticked me off.
[i left a similar note on another review] safety in this *world* is important
[no foul play when i say this, i went to a mainstay hotel days later and the receptionist said my room # aloud with a stranger in the midst!]

“We stay the weekend at this hotel it was absolutely worth it. The room was beautiful when we walked in we got champagne and glasses in the pool was so nice it was warm the jacuzzi was so nice and warm the beds were comfortable in the staff there were absolutely fantastic. Alex is the one who checked us in and I ran out of coffee and I asked for more coffee and Alex it's so nice he got coffee for me and sent straight to my room. The only thing we were worried about was location it was outside the ghetto it is not in Frankfort it's outside of Frankfort. Even then it was not bad it was like 5 minutes away from Frankfort and Frankford the location is just wonderful they have so many restaurants and so many activities.”

“We stayed at The Study over the winter holidays and my 3 year old forgot his stuffed dinosaur. When the hotel sent it back to us it came with a letter (and pictures) of the dinosaur having adventures all over the hotel. It was so sweet and my little boy LOVED it. Thank you so much for that extra special gift.”

“The review is for the banquet side. We had my daughters birthday here and it was amazing. Trish was super accommodating and kind. They all did a great job Heather was super helpful and the bartender Melissa was very charismatic. We took a chance without trying the food and it was phenomenal. Highly Recommended!!”

“The staff went above and beyond for me. What started as a hopeful night of relaxation turned into something I could not have imagined. The staff was so professional, courteous and helpful. Although I did not complain, they took initiative with corrective action. Great experience! All around! The upgrade blew my mind!”
“Harry the night manager was very instrumental in retrieving our reservation after the reservation was canceled due to my not understanding the check in text message prior to our arrival at the hotel.
He did an excellent job explaining the process of some hotels cancellations are done if you fail to contact the hotel while traveling to the destination.
Our check in time was 3:00p but we didn’t arrive until 2:30a the next morning. He was able to handle the situation with prompt and professional assistance provided.
I had to update this review after getting my credit statement with $840.00 cancellation fee for a three day stay. I am having second thoughts about staying at any hotel that adds these types of charges to my hotel bill even if I stay at the hotel!
I can understand the charge if you don’t arrive at the hotel but not if you arrive at a later time.”

“I’ve been meaning to write this review for a couple of weeks, and I’m glad I’m finally doing it. As I look back, this was one of the best days our family has ever had together.
I travel a lot, and when it comes to customer service, staff attentiveness, and that overall feeling of genuinely being cared for, this place is hard to beat. Everyone was on the same team, on the same page … you could tell each person understood the role they play and took real pride in it. That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident.
The facility was clean and inviting. The location was super convenient, which made the whole stay delightful. But honestly, what stood out most was just the feeling of the place. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely fun.
A huge shout-out to the entire staff: you made something truly special for our family. I can’t recommend this place more highly.”

I got my room for a Thursday-check out Friday,,, my room was actually specious a small little living room area and my queen size bed a nice closet, small fridge, and a beautiful bathroom… sucks that I wasn’t able to take pictures…… but I definitely will be going back to this hotel. What I also loved about them is that there’s free parking, I didn’t explore much of the lobby area,…… 10/10???”

“My stay at the aura in midlothian was epic.What I asked for them to do in my room was done completely.The room was beautiful the person that I was with was happy.And was very surprised, it came with a cake.Everything that I asked every detail.They hit it on the head kudos to you.I definitely will be back.”

“had to book a last minute stay due to our flight getting cancelled and rebooked at 5:30am the next day. Great shuttle service to and from the airport. Jade was excellent at check in. Rooms were updated and clean, quiet and a very good gym. Frig and microwaves in room.”
“Great affordable hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, decent restaurant/bar. It’s a little out of the way but if you want to get into the city you can take the free shuttle to the train station and it takes about an hour to get the river north in total. James, the evening shuttle driver, is very nice and does his best to accommodate everyone’s needs.”

“I stayed only 1 night. The room was just as pictured. VERY CLEAN The design of the room was VERY up to date current. It was a hot day and the room had ice cold ac so much I had to turn it off. The lady working was so very nice. My dogs were very comfortable the dog station is right out front. That helped me feel safe. I was having a very bad day and La Quinta you really came thru with affordability dog friendly AND breakfast. THANK YOU LA QUINTA”

“Oh my god Ms. Beth? Amazing. What a jem. It was first time to Chicago and this woman made me feel like I could gab to her like she had been in my life forever. What a wonderful woman. Such a GREAT attitude. Idk what that woman is paid but she deserves a RAISE. So professional but SO down to earth. She comes dressed to IMPRESS every day! She went above and beyond. When my company books hotels on Chicago I will request this location EVERY TIME. Ms. Beth ALONE makes it worth the visit.
The beds? Not the usual plush Holiday but not bad. Rooms are usual holiday standard. No microwave in the room. But if you're real kind to Ms. Beth she will help you out.
She ALONE made my Holiday experience. If there's one thing I've learned being a boss, its that your employees make your team and leadership great. Don't loose this one. She makes the hospitality above and beyond. She made me feel like being welcomed home by my mother.”

“We had a great stay here. From the very moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed. Prince at the front desk was able to let us check in early. He is very kind and charming. The hotel was very clean, quiet and we felt extremely safe. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast area was great and although we didn't have time, the buffet looked awesome. “When I first walked into the office it was very clean smell good good customer service I mean great customer service also when you walk into the room the floors was clean carpet clean no burnt marks no water take all day to get hot tub is clean tissue clean towels with no hair in it that I found Good TV channels and the bed feels comfortable enough for me to stay sleep all night it was wonderful thank you Red roof inn and very reasonable very reasonable”
