“I was there for a business conference this past weekend, I totally loved the hotel, it was well lit, clean, ample parking, the conference room the we were at was super big and warm, we were a big group. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were really nice and clean, their cleaning crew where checking that the bathrooms were properly stocked and clean at all times, they have nice eating areas with tvs and plenty of places to seat down, I didn't get to see the bedrooms but if I'm going to judge by what I saw in the lower level I'm sure they are wonderful too, I totally recommend this hotel. ?❤️”
“When checking in Lariya was friendly and helpful. She offered to look up my Hyatt number and did. When I asked if there was hot water nearby to make tea she explained there was tea and a microwave in the room but she would happily get some for me. She went above and beyond in everything she was asked. Thank you Lariya”

“Excellent experience at this hotel, particularly the location and level of service and professionalism. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms are large and clean. While there are older style elements, they add to the historic charm. You can't beat the location right in the heart of Oak Park, plus convenient transit to DT Chicago. Plenty of coffee shops, bars, restaurants (two right on the premises), shopping, entertainment and services, all within a few blocks. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here on my next visit to the area.”

“Great hotel with fair pricing in a good location. Rooms were clean, well maintained, and so was the facility. There is plenty of space to put clothes in the dresser and closet. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Beds were comfortable. There were no overwhelming chemical smells from the cleaning products but there was a pleasant, fresh scent that was light upon arrival. Parking was plentiful. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We especially were grateful for Lupe who made the breakfast experience wonderful. She went above and beyond for many of us and even checked in on how we were doing. She is a rare gem of professionalism and kindness (Thank you Lupe!). Breakfast options were plentiful offering waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc. Overall, a great choice that will have us coming back when returning to the area.”

I got my room for a Thursday-check out Friday,,, my room was actually specious a small little living room area and my queen size bed a nice closet, small fridge, and a beautiful bathroom… sucks that I wasn’t able to take pictures…… but I definitely will be going back to this hotel. What I also loved about them is that there’s free parking, I didn’t explore much of the lobby area,…… 10/10???”

“This place wasn’t that bad, it did it’s job, the room was dated but clean and the bed was comfortable.. it’s worth the cheap price… we got there early 11am and they accommodate us for an extra $20, which was great because check in time is 3pm.. the area was cool, I’m a black female traveling with another female and we didn’t feel unsafe. We even walked to the store at night.. I had a smoking room and it didn’t even smell like cigarettes or weed at checking in.. I didn’t experience any loud noise or ppl hanging around. It’s a few food places, Walgreens, liquor store, hair store, dispensary and gas stations in walking distance… the lady at the front desk was very friendly
The only thing I really didn’t like is the uber/lyft fees … depending on what your during $25-30 but we paid $8 to blue line train and that took us downtown… also the $10 deposit for iron…”

“Bed was too firm for my liking, water pressure was equal to most other hotels which is low in my opinion. Room was very clean and during a 5 day stay they cleaned everyday. Outlets and USB ports where you want them. Staff was helpful, parking lot is ample plus a very large Truck and Bus parking area. I prefer a free breakfast which they do not offer, and tend to stay away from hotel restaurants due to prices but ate here twice and the price was reasonable for any regular restaurant, portions were sizable, and the food was great. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it. Room was well insulated for noise from neighbors and hallway but you could still hear the louder trucks on the highway nearby, but it wasn't bad and I slept fine.”
“Pleasantly surprised. Staff is very quick and efficient and clearly seem to know what they're doing. Room service is excellent. There is also a restaurant on the main lobby floor along with some roulette and other gambling machines to play with. Location isn't the best because there are not a lot of things nearby. However, it is within 10 minutes of Midway airport. If you book through third party agencies, you can get a pretty good deal staying here.”

“receptionists, please for the safety and peace of mind towards your guests [especially guests who are women] DO NOT say their room number out loud. i might not be a target, but i've heard stories of OTHERS whose safety has been at risk and compromised [not here, but from social media stories that people actually experienced]
anyway, check in was fine. i was the only guest in the lobby i don't know if she was used to doing that since i'm sure she's been on that job for a while .. she said my room number aloud. which ticked me off.
[i left a similar note on another review] safety in this *world* is important
[no foul play when i say this, i went to a mainstay hotel days later and the receptionist said my room # aloud with a stranger in the midst!]

“I absolutely love this hotel! From the room to the location to the customer service! I was treated like I was at the Hilton! Norman the young man at the front desk has a heart of gold! Always pleasant and made my stay much more enjoyable by his positive energy! He is so hard working and deserves a raise! He has been the nicest person I ever encountered while staying at a hotel and for that reason alone I will always come here when I need a hotel to stay at. He made me feel so comfortable and helped with anything I needed. Now for my room. It was super clean and cozy. I slept like a baby! Beds were SO comfortable!! They are newly remodeled rooms so for the price you better snatch one and come here you won’t be disappointed! Right off 55 but you don’t hear a thing! Gas station food and Target right around the corner and down the street you have Bennys shopping and more food. I’m just over all super pleased and it was my pleasure to be a guest here.
