It’s a comfortable, welcoming space that naturally sparks good conversations and cool ideas—some of our best ideas have come out of brainstorming sessions in this spot. Sometimes we’re heads-down getting work done, sometimes sketching things out, sometimes picking up a guitar or playing a little piano between sprints. Great coffee and tea, a relaxed creative vibe, and always something interesting going on. It’s one of our favorite spots in Lake County, Illinois.

389 Lake St #1403, AntiochWe were told about this place from my sister to my mother, We went in there drove down from Wisconsin to Antioch to come to this place. We park and we walk in there. There's a big Italian looking guy there sitting down at a table there probably on some kind of break. We say hi to him, he doesn't seem that happy to see us. But he does say hello and it turns out the guy is the shopkeep owner guy. I had read on the menu that at this Deli they served bottles of Apple Juice. I asked the guy if he had Apple Juice after I had ordered my sandwich and he's like I don't got no apple juice. So I'm like well what do you got and he starts telling me things he's got to drink and he says he's got Jarritos so I ordered a guava Jarrito instead. My parents ordered. My parents ordered drinks as well. My mother orders a fountain drink which is a small. She goes to get some soda out of the fountain drink and an Ant comes out of the fountain drink dispenser. The guy apologizes and says that ants have been getting into his deli and he's been trying to get an exterminator to come by and fix the problem. More people walk into the deli. The guy says he's gonna bring out our food. And clearly he's the only guy working there. So he brings out our food after 10 to 15 minutes and the food was amazing. I drank my Jarrito and it was nice and cold. My mother ended up getting a Mexican bottled soda herself as a replacement for her fountain soda. Me and my parents ate our meal. The food was really really good. And the guy apologized profusely about the ants being in the soda machine. I could see that the guy kind of could use some help in the kitchen there, possibly an exterminator to take care of his pest issues in his shop. But other than that the food was great and we ended up taking the food home.

The beer battered fries were yum. The mozzarella sticks were big and flavorful. I really liked the place. I'd go again.
