It’s a comfortable, welcoming space that naturally sparks good conversations and cool ideas—some of our best ideas have come out of brainstorming sessions in this spot. Sometimes we’re heads-down getting work done, sometimes sketching things out, sometimes picking up a guitar or playing a little piano between sprints. Great coffee and tea, a relaxed creative vibe, and always something interesting going on. It’s one of our favorite spots in Lake County, Illinois.

Would have love to try everything but we settled on the Duck Wantons and a couple burgers. Amazing. Wantons had this fantastic, homemade dipping sauce. Burgers were great. Finished with the Tiramisu. Huge piece. Delicious. Never had to wait with an empty beer glass. Kevin’s service was attentive, personable. Always engaging. We thought the prices were great. Love this place.

The food was outstanding, and it's refreshing to find a place on the Chain that offers something beyond the usual bar menu. My wife and I split the deep-fried ribs, which sounded crazy at first, but turned out to be one of the most unique and delicious things we've eaten in a long time. The real surprise was the smashed potato salad. No joke- it may be one of the best things we've ever eaten. The portions were large, the sunset views were beautiful, and our server, Desiree, was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and she made a great experience even better. Like everything around the Chain, it's pricey. But unlike a lot of places, the food is worth it. Quality ingredients, scratch kitchen, creative menu, and everything was prepared perfectly. If you're looking for a great meal, a cold drink, and a beautiful view, this place is worth the trip. We'll definitely be back!
