βAlways love my Dollar Generals. Great stuff and great service. This is in my top 5 DG's and as someone who regularly visits the store chain --- that's saying something. Really good sized store. Staff are always nice.β
βLove supporting locals. Great selection of vendors. Come for the breakfast sandwiches, pizza, cheese, roasted nuts, and popcorn. Smoothies are great and even grabbed an iced coffee this time.β
βThe best Aldi's in the area. It's layout is much better than others; it flows nicely in terms of food layout, and even in spots where it doesn't (salsa isn't with Hispanic) it's still close by (the salsa is on the backside of that aisle with the veggies). The management hires very work-oriented and friendly people; to the person's review who complained about the pallet lifter being in the floor, they're moving and stocking inventory--it's ALDI. The store is only open 9-9, they have to restock and reorganize during store hours; they don't have the luxury of doing it in late night hours like 24 hour stores. The staff is always willing to drop everything to walk you over to something you need help finding (I'm an Instacart shopper so I stop them short of doing that, I don't want to put them off-track from what they're doing, I just have them point me) and if there's something that spilled they get on it immediately. The prices are also the best in the area; I've yet to see their strawberries cross a $3 threshold and are frequently on sale; milk, cheese and even some brand name cereals are far less expensive here (in the case of the latter the boxes are even family sized and priced equal or lower than a regular sized box at other stores--keep in mind though you could count on one hand how many brand name cereals there are). These are not random observations, I'm in the store at least five days a week getting people's grocery lists filled (Protip folks: tip your gig drivers well, as of this writing gas is averaging $5.39 a gallon--we're not shopping for your 50 item list for a $2 tip to drive 10 miles after 45 minutes work) and it is a well cooled store that uses the natural lighting well to illuminate the store during the day. A silly observation maybe but it has a nice feel when you're walking around in a cool temperature shopping in sunlight.β

βLove Aldis! The food is always fresh and the prices are lower than most grocery stores. They also sell all kinds of interesting useful household items enabling fun browsing while grocery shopping. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Self checkouts has made our lives easier especially if you only have a few items to check out. I even like the idea of the quarter to unlock a grocery cart. Now these lazy people won't leave their carts out in the middle of the parking lot to dent your car. Aldi's in my opinion is a great customer service oriented store. Kudo's to Aldis!!!β

βAldi is like many other grocery stores in that it has too many self-checkout counters and not enough humans checking out the shopping humans' purchases. To me, prices at Aldi seem to be lower than those at Kroger and Jewel. Rumor has it that Aldi is or will be lowering their prices further. These opinions are not necessarily facts, as I'm sure most people will realize.β
βAlthough prices are a bit higher we get all our Birthday Cakes at Jewel per our Grandchildren request. Strawberry 9in. are there favorite! Freshness of vegetables, fried chicken, deli selection, meats. Cleanliness of over all store is great!β
βThe store was clean and stocked. 2 of the 4 employees were very friendly and helpful. They didn't have what we went in for but we definitely didn't leave empty handed! ?β
βThe best spicy chicken in the area for the price my son will only eat there spicy fried chickenβ¦. The service here is always greatβ¦. One of my favorite stores in the area!!!β

βI was thoroughly impressed with the customer service at Meijers. The store itself is a shopper's paradise, offering everything from groceries to home goods. When I couldn't find a specific item, an employee went above and beyond to assist me. It's unfortunate that this kind of store isn't available on the West Coast. I found everything I needed and more during my visit.β

βStocking shelves is getting like Walmart where the stockers don't remove the boxes that the product came in so now we can't see the net content because the boxes are blocking the info. Getting lazy.β
βThe store is stocked well and prices aren't bad, but most on the employees are simply there to get a check. If you want help seek out an older employee that is vested in the store, not one of the kidsβ
βI've known these guys since they 1st opened up! You tell them what kind of meat you like& they will have it by the end of the week. And plenty of it! They also have great sandwiches?!!!β
βEmployees are nice but feel bad for them, their doing 2 jobs at once, running back & forth to ring up customers & stock.
Lots of empty shelves, they can't keep up.β
βItβs something nostalgic about good local corner stores. As a child I remember these were the pit stops for all the kids after school and weekends for the all juice and sugar we can purchase! The owners were sweet. The kind Sir reminds me of my grandfather with the cigar on hand. I purchased A rib tip dinner with a side of hot link. Boy! Oh Boy! Was my rib tips tender. Falling off the bone with a full flavorful mild sauce that covered my meal entirely. Canβt forget the bread! My all time favorite! A small little convenience store with food and local groceries canβt beat it! this is the STOP!β
βThis Dollar General is so deserving of a 5 star rating. The effort is seen. The store is clean ??? the cleanest DG I have ever walked into. Totally has changed my mood about patronizing the establishment. Good use of their space. Aisles are free of rotainers and totes so you can walk freely down them. Merchandise aren't just thrown any and everywhere. Beautiful job ladies. The 4 stars is because of how the company works their employees. One lady told me that it has been weeks since she has had a day off and that just ain't right. I worked for the company before and can attest to this. They do not have a work life balance at all. I see nothing has changed. Glad I do not work for them anymore.β
βA little on the ghetto side, it's pretty crowded in there. Some pretty serious hillbillies roam around in here. They have everything you might expect here, and it is a safe place to go, regardless of the hillbillies. Did not get asked to wear a mask, which I appreciate.β
βVery nice cashier. Clean store doesn't smell like meat, I couldn't tell they had a meat counter. A bit pricey but it looks like a father son store. I'll be back.β

βAlways great service. They are very kind and actually answer the phone when you call!! They are super helpful too. They signed my fiance up for an account and went through every step and were very patient. Highly recommend switching to this pharmacy!β
βI have been to this store many times and never had any problems. The other day my daughter and I stopped in and the manager was so very helpful, sweet, funny and we left with a smile on our face ?β

βFriendly, helpful employees. This store is one of the better Dollar General stores I have shopped in. They actually had product on the shelves, it was much cleaner, and there were fewer products sitting in the aisles on large carts waiting to be put where they belonged for the customers.β
βThe worker was very polite and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my 1st experience there we had a conversation about lottery and it totally made me do some thinking. I would definitely shop there again and also recommend to anyone.β
βFriendly staff, even though they are short handed most of the time which I know can be very overwhelming and stressful, they still treat their customers with respect and care. They have good deals on meats and produce sometimes and they even have a game room that was put in a few months back. I only take away 1 star because of a small selection of products they have which I understand it's a very small town but sucks sometimes I have to drive all they way to Walmart if there is something I can't find when I get off work late.β
