“I’d like to give a big shout out to two people! Chris, who is a cashier, ( on the first lane tonight the express lane ) is the kindest human being in the world! I had To put a bunch of stuff back in my order tonight because I couldn’t afford it and he was so kind and said “ im so sorry you couldn’t get everything you wanted tonight” and that little sweet comment just meant the world to me.
Also a shout out to Miranda who’s a manager at the front. I had an issue with the bakery and she fixed it so quickly and so efficiently that it was barely even an issue.

“adored this shop There is plenty of space to move about and the store is not very packed, and the prices are reasonable. Due to the large store's ample space for walking around, it will require multiple visits to view everything. Excellent assortment of items. There are tons of healthful items available here. They have flowers and fresh produce. Prices are all worth it, of course! Parking is easy, as is entering the shopping center. incredibly tidy and sanitized. Really well-stocked. The personnel and cashier are really polite. This place has a superb assortment of wines.”
“There's no fees to enter and shop here for a wide variety of food and kitchen items, meats both frozen and fresh, fruits and vegetables, cured meats and cold cuts, baked goods, sauces, spices, parchment and wax papers for food prep. They have shoes with non slip soles, aprons, jackets, everything associated with food preparation and consumption. It's easy to buy the store out to take care of your breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks. A pleasure to shop here. Parking is great, all forms of payment are accepted.”

“Very good selection of Asian foods and the prices aren't bad either. I work customer service too so I get it but the employees are very unhappy here. Also, a lot of items are expired so I highly recommend checking the date on everything from chips to frozen food. That said, I do still leave with a full cart every time because these are items you can't find anywhere else (even at Mitsuwa or other small Asian marts). Very cool as well that they accept EBT here if that pertains to you.”

“The truth is that they have the best tacos in the area. I have tried about 20 restaurants from Round Lake to Elgin. I cannot say that they are the best because I lack restaurants to try, but I dare to say that the sauces are very delicious, sometimes even richer. but always good sauces, bad experiences, I have not had in this place, the truth is, the size of the tacos is very good, I do not post photos because I have never taken them, but I will do so on my next visit because I am going to compare them with a restaurant where I had a bad experience.”

“One of my top 3 Aldi in the country. Yep, I have been to so many. I can say that. Always clean. Staff are always helpful and kind. This location has a variety of ethnic and hard to find foods. This Aldi has more of the healthy options than most.
However, it is such a great Aldi that the Aldi finds disappear quickly! Heehee”
“This Meijer is huge and I've never seen it busy, even on the weekends! The grocery side of the store can get a little busy but the center household/clothing section and the home improvement section on the other side is always empty. If you walk around for long enough you'll start finding the secret clearance sections!”
“The store has got it all from a bakery to a deli some of the best prices for me some of the freshest fruits and some of the best baked goods here at village definitely give this place a 10 stars if I was able to”

“Aldi truly is the mecca of groceries, I normally don't favor large corporations, however Aldi is one of the 2 corporations i hold dearly in my heart. I dont want 54 types of bbq sauce, i dont want to sample food, I don't want an industrial sized pack of toilet paper, i want Aldi. I regularly MAKE money shopping at Aldi due to people forgetting to collect their quarters. I dont need a single use plastic bag i just use a box that would have otherwise polluted a landfill, i then use that box instead of a recycling bin bag, and only then can its desecrated carcass be laid to rest. If i want variety, ill wait a couple weeks, this week is German week, is Aldi even a German company? I though it was 2 nordic brothers beefing over selling cigarettes? Either way i dont care because i can eat healthy, cheap, tasty meals because of Aldi. I would get a tattoo of the Aldi logo in exchange for a bottle of their apple wine in a heartbeat. Aldi truly has a stranglehold on me and i dont care. Please, shop at Aldi.”

Somewhat new to the community comparing to the KD few block down the street however both stores have great selection except this one is slightly smaller. Wednesdays 20% so expect to be very busy. “This was our first visit to this Aldi location. We were visiting for work and stopped in to get lunch supplies. We chose bread, cheese, and sunflower seeds but looked at other options as well. Everything was very well stocked. The store was clean and the aisles were kept clear, as is typical of Aldi. Though there was only one cashier, he was efficient and friendly.”
