“I think Mundelein post office is great. I live in Grayslake, but it is worth it for me to drive to Mundelein because I know the packages will be sent out timely and the staff is very nice. They have excellent hours on the Saturday when mail is still sent out at 4:30 pm.”
“I've been going to this post office for 2 years and never had an issue with anyone that works there, or with my mail delivery. There's another review that says they got to the post of 2 minutes before closing, and the door was already locked. Well, maybe don't go anywhere 2 minutes before closing?There are several distinct personalities working there, like anywhere else. They were always polite and helpful to me, and everyone else I saw them interact with. In truth, they were more polite, patient, and tolerant than I would be. I could never deal with some of the people I've seen walk in there.To be honest, it's the other customers that annoy me. You know the type. They don't bother to finish wrapping up their packages at home BEFORE they go to the post office, and you have to stand there and wait for them to do things they should have done earlier. Also, I am a firm believer in the fact that there ARE stupid questions!In summary, I think this post office is good. At least, that has been my experience.”
“This post office does a good job and they are very friendly and helpful. However, mail was stolen out of that outside collection box on 12-12-21 and the check was washed and cashed. Please put your mail inside the PO. I reported this to USPS for fraud investigation.”

“Linda is always helpful with answering questions I have about shipping. She speaks with knowledge and makes it simple to understand my needs when shipping. She always says hi and greets you with a smile. I come to this location daily and never have I felt uncomfortable stepping into this location as I have in others. I just want to thank her for all the hard work she puts in day in and day out. Definitely a gem at this location.”
“Jessica was FABULOUSLY helpful. I was worried about shipping a flute and she was so calm and quick to help me with a smile and patience explaining the different shipping options. If all postal workers were positive/cheerful/ready and helpful like her- so many people would find themselves walking out with a smile each time they went to USPS.? ???? 5 stars, because this is the best service I’ve ever received at any USPS.I don’t remember names easily, so I went back in to see her name tag as she helped someone else in line. I hope her boss knows what an asset she is to their facility- she had a warm welcome for everyone who passed through the door, as the sole front desk employee this Friday afternoon.THANK YOU TREMENDOUSLY JESSICA, for helping me get a package ? on its way to NJ. ?? “I was scared to go here because the reviews are so bad but my experience was great. I got there at about 4:20 on a Tuesday and there was a short line with one employee working. He was very kind and helpful. I was in and out in probably 5 minutes.”

“Not really sure of all the bad reviews. Never had a bad experience here. Today was the best. Made an appointment for by kids to get passports, or so I thought I did, the man that helped us was like, not a problem I'll do it. He told me where I forgot to hit confirm. He was so nice. Even the ladies working here seemed super nice and friendly. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. Thank you Streamwood post office for making my kids first post office visit exceptional!”
“I walked in looking for a box that is used to ship items free and couldn’t find it, so then I started looking at larger boxes that cost. Diane told me not to use that box because it would be too expensive. She then had me try two less expensive packages that didn’t work and then found a box that would be free. She then taped the box around the oversized item even when I told her she could take care of another person. Thankyou for not giving up on me.”

“Ok look, All post offices are understaffed so that's the USPS for you. They all have only one person at the desk so do as much as you can ahead of time!! I think Teri is great! Just do your home work and come prepared and you will be in and out. People come unprepared and expect the staff to do everything for them. That may have worked in the past but THOSE DAYS ARE GONE! Go to Lake Zurich PO and wait 30 min and have them lose your package TOO!!”
