“This USPO location in Schaumburg (behind Capital Grille) is a shining example of how a post office SHOULD work! Compared to the one on Schaumburg Rd. where every employee there is miserable and spreads the same misery to all the customers.
It’s a night and day difference. My recommendation is for you to drive the extra mile and go to this location for service. Yes, there was a little wait but the service is exceptional. I’ll be going there for my postal needs from now on!”

“This is by far the best postal service location I’ve ever frequented and am grateful it’s in our hometown. The staff are friendly, helpful, efficient, and fast. As a result, there are hardly ever any lines, but if there are a couple of people in line, you’re usually waited on in under a few minutes.”

“I want to share my experienced with the customer service at Arlington Heights . On August 17 , 2026 we were at this facility for our passport renewal . It was a stellar service, friendly , accommodating and took time to review our application form . I want to thank you , the one who took the time to send to me my check book that , I unknowingly left at the counter . Yes , I recd the fedex with my check book intact and I am so grateful , thankful for your honesty and time to send this to me for I did not even know that I left it in the post office counter . “We're midway between Lake Zurich and Mundelein but we almost always go to Mundelein because we feel the service is better and we don't have confidence in the Lake Zurich office. We lived in Long Grove for 25 years and weren't impressed with the lake Zurich branch, we are much happier with Mundelein and especially our delivery guy Andrew.”

“I was waiting for my package this afternoon. A female customer walked in, and even though there were other customers waiting in line—including me—she went up to a female employee who was assisting another customer. She asked about an “international package,” demanded a label, and even after the employee explained that the machine wasn’t working, she kept asking the same question three times... That female customer really has no regard for public etiquette—doesn’t she see that other people are waiting in line? She’s talking about “professionalism,” but she should practice what she preaches first... Please—she didn’t even stand in line properly and cut in front of others, while a single female employee was handling all the waiting customers by herself. Everyone else saw it too, yet she’s acting like the employee didn’t help her… It seems like she came here just to stir up trouble. She’s talking as if she were the one who was wronged… wow...”

“I arrived at Streamwood United States Postal Service. I went to my mom's house and my mom said please mail my box and also my mail. If customers bring boxes the staff will weigh the package and ask customers is there any valuables inside the box. The staff will offer a receipt and on the receipt will show where the package is being delivered.”

“Linda is always helpful with answering questions I have about shipping. She speaks with knowledge and makes it simple to understand my needs when shipping. She always says hi and greets you with a smile. I come to this location daily and never have I felt uncomfortable stepping into this location as I have in others. I just want to thank her for all the hard work she puts in day in and day out. Definitely a gem at this location.”
“Give them a break! They’re grossly understaffed! It’s not like the old days, guys! I’ve never been treated poorly. They’re working their fannies off. I feel very fortunate to have a local post office that offers so many services and so many hours of operation. Be careful what you wish for!”
“Mail pickup at the outside drive-thru drop box is at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Wish I could add this information to the hours, or services but Google has no capability for me to do so.”
