“If you're buying grass seed, and it isn't Kelly Seed, you're wasting your money!! Great gardening selection, SUPER friendly and knowledgeable staff. They've been instrumental in helping us with a glorious yard, planting native grass for wildlife, and soil sampling for our cut flower garden. Oh yeah, it's a neat old school hardware store, too. If you've never been, you should go!!!”
“It is a tad unorganized but the owner/worker we interacted with was very nice and made it extremely easy for me to rent an appliance dolly at the last minute and did not charge an enormous fee for my later-than-4pm close up return of rental. Highly recommend this place.”

“Good cheap place to grab tools. This place has saved my butt on numerous occasions. For instance a big box store wants $200 for a 1/2 Drive Impact and was able to score one from Harbor Freight for under $50 and believe it or not the Harbor Freight tool was lighter in weight and offered free lifetime replacement. Big Box Store didn't offer anything except 30 day return with receipt. Also Harbor Freight has a fast track program I would recommend for anyone who buys alot of tools and or attachments. They offer coupons very frequently via email, text message and snail mail.”

“Ken in appliances was a gem. I had called earlier in the day frantic needing a new washer. He knew exactly what they had in stock that we could pick up ourselves this evening. He said he would be there until 5 and ask for anyone else if after 5. I really wanted to deal with Ken bevause he was so amazing on the phone. After my husband got off work we went as fast as we could to Home Depot...getting there 5:00......Ken was actually walking away leaving to go home. This awesome guy remembered talking to me and came back to show me what we talked about. SOLD.. .got the washer home and ready to go by 7:30pm. Thank you Ken.....Home Depot is really lucky to have such an awesome, professional team member.”

“I was at Lowe's on 1/28/25 in need of a couple items. I entered and saw no one in line at customer service so I asked the young lady working there, Katie N., for help in locating my two items. She not only located the items on her bar code scanner, she wrote down the aisles they were located in and gave me specific instructions on where to find them.
Katie N. was extremely helpful and Lowe's Peoria is fortunate to have her working for them.”
“Kids Workshop is awesome! Special shout out to Daniel who was running it when we went today, 06-15-24. He was great with all the kids there! A thank you to him as well for helping with my kids as I was there with two on my own, he offered to help with one so they didn’t have to wait to take turns! As well as helped fix the projects when we had messed them up. Hope a manager will see this for some recognition and to pass along the thanks!”
