“What an amazing staff Rita was outstanding was so helpful brought out multiple pairs of shoes with all types of recommendations evaluated my feet said I needed arc support what a correct statement that was the owner Mel stoped said hi gave me some words of encouragement on my weight loss journey definitely needed to hear those words. And then finally the perfect shoe for my feet was brought out tested with some walking outside which they allowed what a gem of a store I know why they have been in business for so long because they really do care. “Love Grandstand. The best place for a wide selection of Chicago White Sox gear. They have other Chicago sports teams as well, but I mainly focus on the Sox. Huge selection of everything.
The only negitive I'll give them is they aren't open late, or after Sox night games.”

It’s been a year since my last purchase at Peak. I have had 3 iterations of the same shoes that I loved. I expected to just update to the latest version of the same shoes. Megan brought a pair of shoes out and the newest version was not comfortable.
I explained what I didn’t like about the newest sneaker. Megan found me two great alternatives. She then grabbed a laptop and walked me through all the color options to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

Beverly, the owner, was both warm and patient as she guided me through her extensive selection. She meticulously showed me at least 12 pairs of shoes and even took the time to measure my feet and observe my walking style, ensuring the pair I selected had the right type of arch support.
The personalized service truly stood out. Beverly’s attention to detail made the entire process feel tailored to my needs, and I appreciated how her expertise helped me confidently make a final selection. “Dennis is the best and quickest in Chicago for your tennis stringing needs! I've had my old rackets and new rackets restrung by him over the last year, and the quality and tension was amazing. I've brought my own strings, and Dennis has been able to get it back to me within a day or two, and even once or twice just waited around, and he was able to get it done within an hour or so (just got lunch at the place next door). He's able to provide recommendations as well if you need it. To note: I am a 4.0/4.5 women's player and strings have survived the long grueling USTA matches with great upkeep on tension over time. Pricing is standard and fairly reasonable for Chicago, and all listed on the website: Service, value, and professionalism: 10/10. High recommend Dennis to any tennis player in the Chicagoland area!”

“When I was a kid I sometimes got dropped off at my aunt’s house in LaGrange, and my little cousin and I would skateboard here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, dying to get a glimpse at some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the display case or buy a few packs or cards of our own. Yes Steven has that very dry sense of humor and droll attitude that some people might not like, but that’s PART of Steven’s experience! He’s never mean. We LOVED going and talking to him, sometimes he would get a little aggravated with us and we would turn to each other and giggle, and he would talk to us about the card game and help us understand things. If I could go back in time and relive those core memories I would without a second guess, times were much simpler when we skateboarded down the street to Steven’s. He also taught us a lot of invaluable lessons! One I still use to this day! (Read the fine print on eBay listings, they’ll send you an empty box if they can!)”

“I have to give a big thank you to TPS Team Gear and Nick Heiden! My husband ordered a hat. It never came. He called spoke with Nick. Nick hand delivered a new hat to us and left it on the porch… on Dec 23rd so we would have it for Christmas. A donation company came about 15 minutes later and took the hat along with the donation items. Upon hearing this, Nick sent another new hat. No one replaces things for free anymore especially when it isn’t their fault. Thanks TPS and Nick! Such great customer service = lasting customers! We’ll be ordering from you again soon!”

Literally was looking for a Norway jersey and no other place had them in stock. I was able to get two jerseys in my size. I don't play soccer but they had plenty of gear on site. This place is truly a gem, definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.”
