“This is by far the safest, easiest place to furnish your home! Over and over again I keep coming back for the excellent customer service from the minute you walk through the door! The delivery guys are top notch and couldn’t be happier with their service as well!”
“Rick at Mattress Firm was a fantastic salesperson. Extremely friendly, helpful, and pleasant to work with. He made great suggestions & recommendations. He made the whole process easy, sure knows his way around a mattress lol. We're so glad we ended up making our purchase with him! THANKS 😊”
“Great store to purchase bedding and accessories. Thomas our salesperson was very knowledgeable and gave us exactly what we wanted. Fernando the delivery driver and his partner were very professional and accommodating. Wish I could give the whole team more stars!⭐”
“Rony was very helpful. Didn’t recommend the most expensive option. Very responsive on text and phone. Didn’t rush a decision. Informative and helpful.”
“Be aware that the “flash sales” happen almost every weekend, so the sale value on those (especially for the Sleepys brand, the in-house brand) is closer to the real value”
“The team at Mattress Firm were great to work with! They educated us on their products and made sure we left with the right mattress. Make sure you check them out for all your mattress needs!”
“I met with the store manager, Caesar. He was very helpful. I'm a senior and sometimes salespeople talk down to us. He was just the opposite. I really appreciate his kindness. He made my decisions very easy. I would recommend Mattress Firm very highly!”
“Deandre was extremely helpful and patient! Walked me through his professional recommendations and explained topics thoroughly. Greeted me as soon as I walked in, and even worked through a dispute with me without hesitation. Great experience and would recommend anyone to visit the Mattress Firm off of Clyborn!”
“Carol was very professional and helpful in helping select the right mattress for me. I was able to try several different brands and type of mattresses varying from traditional to hybrid without being pressured to buy a mattress that I did not want.”
“My experience with Shauntell while purchasing a mattress today was outstanding. I was impressed with the sleep profile she went through with me, asking questions to help her find the perfect mattress for me. She was professional and extremely easy to work with. She made sure I tried out all the options and made sure I was fully informed of the financing options, their try out policy and the warranty on the mattress. Finally, my mattress is being delivered tomorrow, the very next day, and my old mattress is being removed. If you want a delightful and informative mattress purchasing experience, with no pushy sales tactics, go see Shauntell at the Mattress Firm on Harlem in Norridge, IL!”
“Max is a great sales rep. He was easy to talk to and knowledgeable. I went in looking for one product, but he showed me around and we found the right mattress for my needs. I feel like he was generous and provided me with a quality product at a great value. He’s a trustworthy sales rep. I will go back to him in the near future for an additional bed.”

“Peter was an excellent salesman’s. Very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful with deciding about a mattress to choose from. Highly recommend to anyone that is purchasing a mattress. Above and beyond. Thank you Peter for all your help.”
“Absolutely love the cover! It fits my BBQ island perfectly, and the quality of the material and workmanship is excellent. You can tell a lot of care went into making it. A special shout-out to Hector, who helped me through the entire process. He made everything simple and easy from start to finish and was great to work with. Couldn’t be happier with the final product. THANK YOU AGAIN! Highly recommend!”
“Good service and delivery was fantastic. The sofa we ordered couldn't fit through the door and they took the door off, sofa in, door back on. Easy, fast, great service.”
“Had a great experience with furniture delivery and set up! They were here on time and the entire set up of couch, coffee tables, end tables, kitchen table, and rug took only an hour. They cleaned up afterward. It was flawless. The furniture exceeded our expectations given what we paid for it. Thank you! 10/10 recommend!”
“10/10 Service & Craftsmanship – A Truly Exceptional Experience I had an outstanding experience at this unique furniture store. I custom-ordered a couch — hand-made in Italy with 100% top grain leather — and the quality is absolutely unmatched. From the materials to the craftsmanship, every detail was flawless. What made the experience even more special was the personalized service. Ali was phenomenal — knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us find the perfect piece. His recommendations were spot-on, and he ensured our furniture arrived on time and in perfect condition. He followed up to make sure we were completely satisfied with the final result. This wasn’t just a transaction — it was a highly personalized, professional experience that exceeded all expectations. I would recommend Ali’s expertise to anyone looking to elevate their home with quality, custom furniture. I’ll absolutely be returning for future furniture needs!”
“My jaw was on the floor in this place at how well it was curated. Such a beautiful, diverse range of items. Walked away with multiple stunning pieces that were very reasonably priced and in great condition. Martin, you are a gem of a human! Can’t wait to tell more friends to come by. Even more excited for when we’re back in town next because I will without a doubt stop by anytime I’m in Chicago. Don’t sleep on this spot y’all”
“They have stunning pieces and they prioritize accessible pricing. The owner Jon is also super knowledgeable. I love supporting people who stand by their principles and these guys are the real deal!”
“Jason created a fireplace surround from a photo I had found. It is better than I had envisioned. His choice of wood, finish and dimensions was perfect. (And, he left NO mess) Thanks, Jason!”
“I came here for a closing sale and the service was wonderful. Also the inventory here is fantastic and diverse for the offerings they have. Would highly recommend if you are looking for some unique pieces and located on the north side.”
“We inherited a Victorian armchair and loveseat that were falling apart at the seams. The wood was in terrible shape, and had an unattractive dark finish. Donna was extremely kind and helpful throughout the process. She gave practical advice, and spent a long time looking through upholstery samples with us. We decided to completely strip the wood to reveal the natural wood grain, re-glued, and reupholstered both pieces. All the work was done in approx two weeks, and all correspondence was answered promptly. We are over the moon with the results. The colors are stunning, and great care was taken to line up the complex pattern of the upholstery with the tufting. Excellent service and excellent results. We will be back with future products. Highly recommend.”
“Lisa and her team did a fantastic job completely transforming our front yard. They were able to complete the job quickly and neatly, with a beautiful final result, and with minimal interruption to us or our neighbors. We highly recommend this business and we love the design and plants for our new yard!”
“I absolutely love this place. Their stock is excellent. Furniture, art, knick nacks, whatever your home desires, its probably here. We first wandered in because we were looking for a new piece that could work as a TV stand. Our particle board one was on its last legs, and we wanted a replacement that would last. We found a beautiful rolling buffet with a marble top, and wanted to buy it immediately, but we had no idea how we were going to get the thing to and in our apartment. The cashier whipped out a piece of paper, and told me to call Bart. They make it so easy to pick things up, and Bart was wonderful to work with for delivery. The owners are so cute and make the place even better. We went back and found a second piece, and can't wait to see what is there the next time we pop in!”
“Amazing customer service! Chris and John are true professionals with an exceptional eye for detail. Donny, who assists with delivery and installation, is lovely and helps make the process smooth and stress-free. The pieces are fantastic! I purchased a stunning coffee table and a large floor mirror, and both exceeded my expectations. They are also very reasonable and adjust pricing based on the quality of each piece when warranted, which shows their fairness and commitment to value. I highly recommend this team for their quality, expertise, and outstanding service!”
“I had nothing but a great experience with HT Market. The website is solid and informative. Working with Tom and Alan is a joy; you can tell they are passionate about the business and the products they sell. Email isn't instant, nor would I expect it to be, but it is plenty prompt and within 24 hours. They are also easily reachable by phone. I used to always get theater chairs for myself and others from another seller on AVS who recently retired. The front row of my theater had his cheapest chairs, which broke down within 7 years. I ordered a row of 4 Wavelands to replace them and I regret not doing it sooner. They look nicer, the mechanisms and motors are faster, quieter and seem of better quality, and most importantly, the chairs are significantly more comfortable. In my pictures, you can see the Wavelands in the front and a set of the other chairs in the back row. After using the HT Market chairs, it's just a matter of time before I replace them all. Shipping was good: I ordered the in-stock chairs, they shipped a couple of days later and I received an email update with tracking info. They were then sent to the local white-glove delivery company and in the end, I had the chairs within 2 weeks of ordering. Overall I can't recommend HT Market enough and I plan to buy more than just chairs in the future.”
“Exceptional Customer Service. Phenomenal Proces and Tremendous Efforts to please the customer. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone whose looking to be treated like family.”
“I just moved into my new place and was riding past to go into another store, when I decided to take a peek into this store… MY O MY am I glad I decided to….. I was like a kid in the candy store! They have a really big variety of options, the prices are VERY REASONABLE and the customer service was amazing. Ayman really made me a customer for life!!! Very impressive with helping on the cost NOT to just make a sale.. and he actually worked with me within my price point.. and STILL provided phenomenal services with prices!!! The QUALITY was also one of the most important parts of service.”
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
Wayfair is testing a new, smaller store design. The online home furnishings giant, famous for its endless digital catalog, is trying a different strategy for its physical locations. The company announced plans to open a smaller prototype store in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for late 2026. Located next to the Polaris Fashion Mall, the new space will span approximately 70,000 square feet.
Online furniture giant Wayfair is setting up shop in Atlanta with plans for a huge 150,000-square-foot store opening in 2026. The new location will take over the former Walmart space at The District at Howell Mill shopping center. This marks Wayfair's second big store, following its first location that opened in Wilmette, Illinois, in May 2024.
