“I've visited this store a couple of times—once to purchase a gift card and more recently to pick up some items for a die-hard Cubs fan friend of mine. The store is clean, welcoming, and well laid out, with just about everything a sports fan could ever want.
My friend and I now live in Florida, so it was special to bring a little piece of Wrigley Field to him. The gentleman who helped me at checkout was friendly, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. He made me feel like I was at home and like I had been a longtime customer.

It’s been a year since my last purchase at Peak. I have had 3 iterations of the same shoes that I loved. I expected to just update to the latest version of the same shoes. Megan brought a pair of shoes out and the newest version was not comfortable.
I explained what I didn’t like about the newest sneaker. Megan found me two great alternatives. She then grabbed a laptop and walked me through all the color options to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

“When I was a kid I sometimes got dropped off at my aunt’s house in LaGrange, and my little cousin and I would skateboard here bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, dying to get a glimpse at some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards in the display case or buy a few packs or cards of our own. Yes Steven has that very dry sense of humor and droll attitude that some people might not like, but that’s PART of Steven’s experience! He’s never mean. We LOVED going and talking to him, sometimes he would get a little aggravated with us and we would turn to each other and giggle, and he would talk to us about the card game and help us understand things. If I could go back in time and relive those core memories I would without a second guess, times were much simpler when we skateboarded down the street to Steven’s. He also taught us a lot of invaluable lessons! One I still use to this day! (Read the fine print on eBay listings, they’ll send you an empty box if they can!)”

“Highly recommend this Play it again sports for all your athletic and fitness equipment needs, their battling cages in the back, and custom apparel made! I have taken my kids in for volleyball knee pads, ice skates, soccer cleats, shin guards, etc, and weights for myself. The staff is always friendly and eager to help you find what you are looking for.
As a business owner, I use their battling cage space in the back for mom and me classes. They are so welcoming and accommodating to me and our families.
Lastly, just used them to make custom hoodies for our members and they did a great job! They were reasonably priced, great quality, and were available quickly. This business, owner, and staff are great!”
“We’ve been to 4 other bike shops today looking for an E Bike for my mom. Met with mediocre customer service from all shops until we found Kozy! Luis was incredible! So nice, not pushy, and so quick to answer questions and get us exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely be back to this shop for all future bike needs! We weren’t even looking to actually buy one today but we ended up walking out of the door with one. Shows how far great customer service can go. Thanks again Luis and team in the service department!”
“I needed some vests embroidered for my business, Manic Maids. It was a small run, so I wasn’t sure if some would just do a handful of items. I called around and reached out to Mario. He was quick to answer my questions, gave me a reasonable quote, and made it easy to email my artwork over. I dropped off the vests and embroidery was done within 24 hours. It looks great - just what I needed. They took credit card, which was a plus. I’d use them again for sure. They were good to work with.
As a side note, they had some really cool embroidery and screen printing examples in the office. It looks like they can do some impressive stuff.”

“I have to give a big thank you to TPS Team Gear and Nick Heiden! My husband ordered a hat. It never came. He called spoke with Nick. Nick hand delivered a new hat to us and left it on the porch… on Dec 23rd so we would have it for Christmas. A donation company came about 15 minutes later and took the hat along with the donation items. Upon hearing this, Nick sent another new hat. No one replaces things for free anymore especially when it isn’t their fault. Thanks TPS and Nick! Such great customer service = lasting customers! We’ll be ordering from you again soon!”
“I had to stop at City Sports to get me a ball cap. Thats like the number one thing for me to do when I go out of town. I found a real cool Chicago Cubs New Era cap with a red bill. The store owner was really cool and gave me a little discount since a brotha was from out of town. I wish the Chi town drivers were a little more accomodating but hay.lol”

“I needed some jerseys for the world cup and this place didn't disappoint. As soon as you walk in customer service is an A+. Super helpful and attentive. They even have a fitting room! Literally was looking for a Norway jersey and no other place had them in stock. I was able to get two jerseys in my size. I don't play soccer but they had plenty of gear on site. This place is truly a gem, definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.”
