“Very nice staff who have helped me on numerous occasions since I bought my first home down the street about a year ago. I’ve had a number of projects where it’s my first time trying to fix or replace something and they’ve always patiently walked me through everything and answered my questions. They’re also very dog friendly and my dog knows when we’re getting close and starts walking faster so he can get all the attention from the staff he loves.
Great neighborhood store and so glad I moved in near them. It’s great being able to walk 5 minutes and get everything you need for a home project.”

“Not the cheapest spot depending on what you're getting, but the employees tend to be really helpful and nice, and it's definitely a good place if you need a really particular part (such as when our hose valve kept leaking). We usually come in for propane for our business—you can get both tanks and refills here. We are part of their rewards program so we're always getting coupons sent to us. Love perusing the garden center, good plant selection during that season.”

He provided the necessary parts, assembled them so all I needed was to reinsert the part back into the sleeve and tighten. “Recently was in the shop looking to replace a bathtub faucet stem, and it is a very old style, but Robby knew right away and matched it up with a comparable part, which took a lot of fussing and searching off me!!! This was a huge relief as I needed that part to work right away, and it did! I tried to review this on the Ace website, but why on earth does that option expire in 72 hours???”

He took the time to really listen to what I was trying to accomplish and genuinely cared about finding a solution.
Shortly after, the manager, Shi, stepped in — and together, they went above and beyond to make something work for me. What impressed me the most was not just that they helped, but how they helped: with positivity, creativity, and a true customer-first attitude that I hadn’t experienced at other locations.
Aidan personally assisted me every step of the way, and both him and Shi made me feel like my request truly mattered. Even when I had to come back with a small issue afterward, Shi handled it with the same level of professionalism and kindness, immediately resolving it without hesitation.
It’s rare to come across people who genuinely care about customer experience the way they do. Their attitude, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile made a lasting impression on me.
