“Tony (the manager) was extremely pleasant & detailed. This facility is completely secure even down to the elevator. Exceptionally clean & climate controlled. If you rent anytime other than the 1st of the mth, they will prorate. Here they have a lock in price for 6 mths where others can change at the drop of a dime. You also have access to use of their truck at NO cost. They take your deposit then apply it back to your account if returned in the same condition.( limited hrs on use of the truck & availability). I am moving my belongings from another storage facility where the roof leaked and many of my belongings were damaged. While I had insurance that was a hassle and losing sentimental items was disappointing. So I’m happy to have my things here now.”

“We were full time travelers and needed a place to secure our possessions for an extended period of time. We chose this one because of location and it was indoors. We rented for 8 years and 3 months. We just moved out because we bought a place out of state. We were very happy with the quality of the building, never a bug, not even a cobweb. It’s exceptionally clean. The staff appears frequently walking around checking the halls and cleaning any debris that may come in through the sliding doors or on items stored. Thank you again for your service and keeping our things safe and clean.”

“This place is fantastic. The property is always clean, secure, plowed in the winter, and very well maintained. There are plenty of storage options to fit whatever your needs may be. Inside, outside, conditioned, non conditioned, parking. You name it, they've got it!
The real gem, though, is Kathy in the office. She is always cheerful, helpful, and a pleasure to speak with. Kathy consistently goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best rental experience possible. If you have questions or run into any issues, she will take excellent care of you. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and truly a lovely person.

“This would easily have been a five if not for the damaged property, lack of response and the delivery driver. My move was from Midwest to the East coast. My experience with the team in Chicago was excellent. I was going into storage initially. I was told it would go into crates, I was told I could use my own blankets. No crates and my blankets disappeared in the process. The driver on the delivery end was very aggressive and was only concerned about how the outcome looked for him and not whether I was a satisfied customer. Moved items into the house to discover many items damaged. The major item was a stand up desk that I will have to replace at my cost.
Have reached out several times to the team in Chicago with no response. In the end it was disappointing.
I revised this to a 5 star, as it was my experience with the team in Chicago and that same team resolved all issues to my great satisfaction. I do believe I can recommend this team as they are very customer focused.”
“I had an excellent experience with Public Storage at 17W170 Roosevelt Rd in Oakbrook Terrace. I stored my car there for about 14 months, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well everything turned out.
From day one, the facility felt secure, clean, and well-managed. Access was always smooth, and I had peace of mind knowing my vehicle was in a safe environment. After more than a year in storage, I was very happy to find my car in great condition with absolutely no damage or issues.
It’s clear that this location takes pride in maintaining high standards, and it really shows. I would definitely recommend this Public Storage facility to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to store their vehicle long-term.”

“Overall, we were satisfied with Allied. They did break a paper shredder. I'm not sure why it wasn't packed in a box like almost everything else was. On delivery, the crew accidentally took my two wheel dolly. They used it to return the furniture wraps to the truck, and didn't bring it back. Other than those two things, we were happy.”

“I chose this Life Storage location a few weeks ago because of the reviews, and the reviews were NOT just hype. Marty is a helpful and courteous man who is a wealth of information and always friendly. This place is clean, well-lit, and the atmosphere feels safe. The only thing I think could be changed a little is that the overhead garage door stays open longer than it should after the eye has been cleared, but I am new to this storage stuff, so maybe there is a good reason for that. Otherwise, Marty is truly an asset to the company and this location is bright, clean, and wonderful.”
