“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Greentech, especially with their mechanic, Mike. I initially thought I needed a costly hybrid battery replacement, but Mike’s honesty and expertise saved me thousands of dollars. Instead of rushing to replace the battery, he thoroughly examined my car, ran tests, and discovered that the issue wasn’t battery-related at all.
Mike found that oil had gotten into the air intake, preventing the car from functioning properly. He showed me the air filter, where there was quite a bit of oil, and explained how this was causing the problem. He didn’t just tell me; he took the time to show me the issue and walk me through it with complete transparency. Mike then went above and beyond by cleaning up the oil, reconnecting the battery, resetting the errors, and taking the car for a test drive to make sure everything was running smoothly.
This level of honesty, integrity, and professionalism is rare to find in the auto repair world. Greentech and Mike didn’t just treat me as a customer; they treated me with respect and care. The Glen Ellyn store had the battery I needed and an impressive array of many other types of batteries. When I called at 5:00 pm to check on the battery, I learned that Glen Ellyn store had the battery I needed and their store manger, Jeremiah, promised they would install the battery as soon as I could arrive. I walked into O’Reilly thinking I just needed a simple part…and somehow left feeling like I pulled into a professional F1 pit lane and the crew chief said, “Relax, I got you.”
First off, Joshio greeted me with a smile so genuine. He asked me how my day was going and made me feel so special. I thought he was about to offer me coffee. We talked for like 10 min about my day.
10 out of 10 customer service right off the bat.
The conversation lasted so long I forgot what I went in there for. He knew exactly what I needed and made me feel taken care of.
Then Rafa stepped in like the professor of auto parts. I had about 47 questions, some of them probably unnecessary, and this man answered every single one without blinking. He broke it down in a way that even I understood. No pressure, no attitude, just straight knowledge.
And Roman… this man deserves his own paragraph. Turns out the part I needed was at another O’Reilly about 10 minutes away. Instead of just pointing me in the general direction and sending me off, he explained everything clearly and even offered to take me there himself. Who does that? That’s next level service. That’s not “good manager” energy… that’s “I actually care” energy.
Between the three of them, I’m convinced if my car ever breaks down again, they’ll show up with tools, snacks, and emotional support.
Seriously though, amazing team. Professional, helpful, and actually care. You don’t get that everywhere.

“WOW another great experience with Batteries Plus on Ogden in Naperville. Have an older cell phone that constantly needs recharging but I didn't want to buy a new phone. Went in there and spoke to Kristin and Tim. They checked to see if they had the battery I needed and then for any sales or discounts. Found the battery at a different Batteries Plus store. They both offered suggestions and advice especially in regards to saving money/hassle. A few hours later I had a brand new battery for my phone, neatly installed. Two very kind people and a great business.

“Giovanni went over and beyond and kept checking the system for me to find my battery so I couldn’t warranty it out. On other hand the supervisor/manager on duty kept brushing me off and rather had argued with me while Giovanni kept digging to find my battery in the system so I couldn’t warranty it out. Give that young man a raise.”
