Habitat for Humanity ReStore Chicago is a spacious 29,000 sq. ft home improvement and building supply retail facility that offers a wide selection of new and gently used materials at reduced prices. The store accepts donations from individuals and businesses, with proceeds supporting Habitat for Humanity's home construction program while also helping to reduce construction waste in landfills. Customers appreciate the great deals and unique items, including antique and designer furniture, although some boutique-tier items may be priced higher than at competitors like Home Depot or Menards. Feedback highlights the ease of donating items, with a clean loading dock making drop-offs convenient. However, there are suggestions for improving the maintenance of the restroom facilities. Overall, ReStore Chicago is praised for its vast inventory, including affordable LEDs, quality rugs, and a variety of essential home furnishings, making it a valuable resource for both shoppers and those looking to support a worthy cause.
Honestly the people working there in my experience have been unbelievably nice, kind and especially helpful! If anyone in a higher up position there reads this comment please keep the prices and the quality of store items affordable 🙂 thanks so much!
