The Whitehall Hotel is a historic boutique hotel located in a convenient area with many nearby attractions and restaurants, making it ideal for walking and exploring. The hotel offers cozy, small rooms with old-world charm, some featuring good views. While the rooms are clean, they are somewhat outdated and in need of updates, especially bathrooms. Parking is available across the street for a fee, and valet parking is also offered, though it does not accommodate trucks. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful service at the front desk, with staff responding quickly to questions and concerns. The hotel’s location is considered perfect for exploring the city, and safety is not a concern. Breakfast and happy hour drinks are enjoyed by guests, although some experience issues with the restaurant service, such as lack of supplies and waitstaff during breakfast hours. Overall, the Whitehall Hotel offers a good value for its price, combining old charm with a prime location, despite some room and facility limitations.
Look into parking before booking a room so there’s no surprises or disappointments. You can hear street noise. Pleasant staff, clean room, great view. Elevator ride is fun!

Extremely well located hotel in downtown chicago. Its economical. The rooms are large and the bed very comfortable. They have retained am ethnic look to the whole property. Breakfast spread is average. Room cleaning is only once in two days.
