“I have stayed at The Neighborhood Hotel 3-4 times over the last 2 years while my daughter lived in Lincoln Park.
It’s the perfect location with all the right amenities. Laundry, coffee maker, fridge, stove, dishwasher, sound machines…
We have been able to walk to great restaurants, Target, Trader Joe’s, The “L”, Wrigley Field, the Zoo, the Observatory, the lake front!
Hosts are responsive and helpful.
This visit we had a two bedroom, two bathroom and it was roomy with comfy beds!

“Wow!!! Absolute 10 out of 10!!! I am very very happy I choose to stay at the ACME hotel ! Service is top notch. As soon as I walked through the door I knew I was in good hands. Michael was so accommodating and friendly! He made me feel so welcomed. I wanted a room with a view and he made it happen ! Also, he gave me a voucher for a great restaurant! Thank you. I have the best view of the city and I couldn’t be happier. My room is everything I could have asked for and more. I loveeee the decor of the hotel and my room is so gorgeous. “We stayed at The Study over the winter holidays and my 3 year old forgot his stuffed dinosaur. When the hotel sent it back to us it came with a letter (and pictures) of the dinosaur having adventures all over the hotel. It was so sweet and my little boy LOVED it. “This is my first time at this property as we always stay at another nearby. After one stay at the Four Seasons, we will now be switching to this property. It is quiet and comfortable! The service is not only impeccable, but kind and personalized. The above and beyond attitude the employees have here is something you won't find elsewhere. Shout out to the front desk employees, Lambert who brought our bags up for us and Brandon in housekeeping, (every property should have a Brandon), It was not only service that was amazing, but the employees genuinely want you to enjoy everything about your stay. “Perfect stay here at this hotel.
I stayed 2 nights for a 2 night event at the Wintrust Arena and had absolutely zero complaints.
The room was beautiful, clean (no bugs!), the area the hotel was in didn't feel dangerous or unsafe, and the front desk lady (I didn't catch her name sadly) was extremely professional and nice, traits that are becoming increasingly difficult to come by in the hospitality industry.
The only 2 (VERY minor) blemishes on my stay were that if you park in the garage before checking in you have to go down the stairs, out, and around to the front/ main entrance (but it's only like a 60 second walk altogether), and also my room was at the far (very)end of the hall, but that's not really anyone's fault ?♂️
Otherwise, FANTASTIC stay, and I've got my eyes set on another event close by in a few months, and if I go to it I'll 100% be staying here again”

“The Ritz-Carlton Chicago will not disappoint you, but it also will not change you — and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. The staff are genuinely warm in a way that feels earned rather than scripted, and the bartenders in particular are operating at a level that makes you wonder if they’re being paid in tips or in pure personal satisfaction. Rooms are comfortable and tasteful, though “Ritz-Carlton” may be doing heavier lifting than the décor. The real sell is the location: you’re a short walk from Michigan Avenue, good restaurants, and the kind of retail that requires you to lie to your spouse about what you spent. Four stars — luxury hotel, thoroughly human bar program.”

We could have not picked a better hotel! It was perfect, no complaints! Service was very friendly, rooms were cleaned, area was nice, the distance was cool, the shopping outside was nice, and it was a great experience!”
“This was the perfect location for us! Very close to Wrigley and all of the fun bars and restaurants in the area. Our room was very spacious and comfortable! We loved having breakfast each morning and really enjoyed talking to other guests. Ashley communicated very clearly and we had no issues during our visit.”

“We had an outstanding experience with Keegan, our valet at the Viceroy this past Friday. He is incredibly nice, professional, and clearly hardworking. We weren’t even staying at the hotel—we just used the valet service before heading to a birthday dinner at Maple & Ash. Keegan made parking completely seamless and had our car ready right on time when we needed it.
He went above and beyond to provide excellent service, and we truly appreciated his effort in making the night stress-free. 12/10!!”

“The good: The location is great and has a few coffee shops within a few minutes walk. The parking garage is also half a block away and not a bad walk at all. The vibe upon entering was quite nice because of the grand lobby. The colors of the furniture were sort of all over the place.
THE BAD: Our room had a corner wall that had coffee spilled on it. The caulk around the toilet base was brown. Although maybe not the hotels fault but the hallway of floor 10 smelled like smoke (cigar or cigarette). Our tv remote didn’t work when we arrived but engineer quickly came in with a new one and it worked perfectly.
The service was kind but not efficient. Upon checking in, I was about to be charged a random amount of $163 even though I already paid through my Bonvoy app. I had to ask him kindly “what’s this charge for?” And he said “oh….i apologize.” Strange interaction.
Since I have Gold Elite status my room was supposed to be upgraded if there was availability. I know there was availability because they were available for booking. Instead, he gave us “a room on a high floor with a nice view “ which turned out to be a view of the neighboring buildings ac units on the roof. Turns out this guy was 25 years old and he was certainly not an experienced enough in fine hospitality to know that room and view were exceptionally average.”

“I liked the hotel. However, there was a significant delay in getting our car back from the valet that made us to an event we were attending. This occurred despite us calling from our room prior to checking out to ask them to get our car.”
“The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is second to none, and the views are fantastic! The hotel features Korean inspired decor and is very modern. The amenities are great and everything is super walkable from this hotel. It's a very safe area and has everything you would want to experience in Chicago. We will absolutely be back!”

“My partner and I toured and met with several hotels, restaurants and event centers in downtown Chicago, and the choice was simple to select the Kimpton for our wedding this year. The location, the on-site amenities/facilities, the food, and most importantly the service was top-notch! Mariah is everything and more than we could have ever hoped for in an on-site event coordinator. She was professional, responsive, friendly and went above and beyond to make this day special for us.
With so many guests coming in town for the event, we loved the idea of having it at a hotel downtown so guests could see the city and easily navigate our wedding which was all at the Kimpton. Boleo is incredible - especially if you can luck out with the weather like we did to have an open rooftop with a view of the sears tower. Not only that, but we didn't even need to leave the hotel for photos - the grand marble staircase, vol 39 and a step outside to see the Board of Trade was a game changer and time saver for us too!
Knowing weddings aren't cheap either in the city - the hotel was also one of the most reasonable options in terms of cost with not feeling like a stuffy ballroom type of event in a hotel event center. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.”

Rere from security was EXTREMELY helpful and kind in helping along the way of picking up the item and making sure I was able to retrieve it.
