“Came in on a Saturday around noon to get fitted for some new running shoes. We waited roughly 45 minutes to be seen. Meg was helping me today and I appreciate the care she took in the entire process. She was thorough and gave me plenty of options/advice based off the evaluations from my foot and from what I told her. I ended up finding just what I was looking for! Highly would recommend coming to one of these to get a better understanding of your feet, shoe ware and how to find a good fit for you.”

“Vans corporate has kneecapped the physical Vans store experience. There used to be 3 or 4 Vans stores in downtown Chicago and now there's 1 mediocre one. There are for the most part better deals on Vans' own website than in-store. If you know your shoe size and know you want Authentics or Old-Skools then there's really not a great reason to ever visit.
The only upside is Vans' website sucks so if your device freezes up every time you use it you might be able to go in store and find what you're looking for.
Sales associates walk around and are eager to help, A+ to them.
Vans is unfortunately a shell of their former selves after a series of poor corporate decisions. Which is unfortunately I and many people I know grew up with the brand.”

“This is a great store. I hadn't ever heard of it until my friend recommended we take our babies to get fitted and check out shoes. Even though my GPS was telling me where to go, I didn't see it until I was right in front of it. Service was fantastic. The moment we walked in we were greeted even though the place was super busy (it's a madhouse on weekends, apparently) and the woman came by to help us within a couple minutes. This store has been in business since 1961, passed through the family, and it's clear why they've been around so long what with their great service and merchandise. It was the first time that both our kiddos had ever had shoes. She measured them both, and explained what we should look for in shoes; the brand I bought, Stride Rite, she said is usually pretty true to size but if we went with one of their other brands they'd have to go up a bit. Both babes walked (or rather, strolled and were carried) away with a pair of shoes and we'll be back in August to re-size. They have a couple of toy stations to keep bored kids busy, which is a great touch. Since my baby is still just at the creeping stage and standing assisted, she doesn't wear shoes so that she can get used to the feel of her feet and the ground beneath them. But when we go for a walk or something they'll be good for her to have on her feet while she's being strolled. So although the shoes are not cheap by any means--I spent more on her shoes than I often spend on mine--I was ok with it since she's only going to have one or so at a time. And they're good brands, high-quality shoes, which is important for growing feet.”

The selection is very high quality with a range of price points and categories that make it a complete and comfortable place to purchase your footwear. From athletic, comfort, dress and casual. From Women's, Men's and children's the selection is awesome! I purchased 2 pairs from the men's section which I am thrilled with. There is no online equivalent that can match the hands on in store experience that this store provides. Also, my wife bought a beautifully made handbag and shoes with a pair of orthotics perfectly suited for her feet. This was made possible by a sophisticated computerized device that was something to behold and experience. Of course, no matter how amazing this device is it would be meaningless withoutAlbert 2 Pro the expert assistance of the person who knows how to use the information that it provides.”
“This winter I have visited this at least 4 or 5 times. I don't usually take time to write reviews. I was like a kid in a candy store, i kept returning. The many pairs of shoes and boots I purchased are so unique as well as comfortable. I went back to celebrate Galentine Day. (1st time ever) I could write forever, but you may stop reading. Really like the staff especially Tisha. She helped me on each visit. This is really a great and classy boutique in our Chicago southside area!”

“I have been a huge fan of Rothy's shoes since the Point came out, and I'm a lifelong convert now that they added the comfort insole to the Point II and other flats. Visiting this Lincoln Park store has been on my bucket list for years as they've added more styles and sizing can be different based upon the shoe style. Sean was wonderful as he indulged my desire to try on ALL the styles I've wanted to over the years. He easily brought me 25-30 pairs to try on, and he never made me feel like I was a bother. It's wonderful to have a brand that checks off all the boxes - sustainable materials, stylish, comfortable with long wear, and they clean up so well in the washer. Stop in. Try them on. The driving loafer and Penny loafer feel like heaven on your feet. The Point II is amazing for a stylish, comfortable work/casual/dressy shoe - I always feel a few more notches pulled together when I throw these on for the weekend. Invest in quality footwear that lasts.”

“I went here a couple weeks ago looking for some new dance shoes. They were so friendly and nice in helping me find the right shoes. I went in planning on just getting ballet shoes, but ended up walking out with ballet and jazz shoes-both of which fit great and I love! There aren't many dance shoe stores around, so I'm especially thankful this place exists so close to me. It's so much more fun going to a store rather than purchasing online!”
