“Visit here frequently and they are still delicious! Service by Gloria is always amazing! Prices have gone up a bit. Medium horchata 4.99, Jarritos 3.59. Tacos are now 4.29 each. Gorditas 5.25.
The tacos al pastor are the best I have ever had, great flavor and nice size tacos.”

“Kukulu Market is a small Ethiopian shop in Uptown. I found some spices and incense, and the owner was kind. However, the place could use some upkeep, it doesn’t match the photos online and feels a bit neglected. I’ll be back to review the quality of the berbere and mitmita after I get the chance to try. Hopefully I get to see more products and a cleaner setup next time.”
“Both the man and the woman (probably couple) are awesome, respectful, attentive, well mannered, courteous, and humble.
I like their service manners.
Their products are relatively cheap and reasonable. You will find what you want.

“It's still a good store I know there's a lot of a lot of food that is that is missing because of what's going on but but they try to fill the Shelves as much as they can. Very neat a nice employees. Been a shopping go to for 17 years.
Update 02/23/26 still ok to shop here. Remodeled again inside. Prices are way up higher than 2 years ago. I'm not happy there's gmo products available. So I knocked 1 star down.”

“The deli selections are amazing! You can get beef, chicken, to seafood! You also have a selection of seasonings, premade snacks or lunch, such as riceballs, fried chicken, or arroz con gandules!
They also have a bakery, selling baguettes, croissants, and more!”
“I really like shopping at Pete's because there is found what I need at a reasonable price. It's also fresh! I found seeded red watermelon and was extremely happy! Even found yellow meat watermelon that was sweet to my taste!”
“I have been coming to various Pete's Fresh locations for years. It's locally owned and operated. A large percentage of the prices are somewhat high. The produce quality is excellent, as are the deli items and meat departments. The self-serve hot and cold buffets are CLEAN, well above average, with a good variety of fresh recipes (Latino and American cuisines), and competitively priced. Their website couponing is, like with many supermarkets, poorly designed, cumbersome to use, and frankly, stupid and pointless. Don't give me excuses like that 'it provides customer shopping/market feedback and target marketing'! Simply lower the prices or make the couponing less complicated to use and more user-friendly with the reduced maintenance costs! If management wants that market feedback, just analyze computer data recorded by the cash register/checkout system! Hello? I have, by and large, found the employees to be polite and helpful. Lastly, and to reiterate, I like the fact that the chain is locally owned and operated.”
“Love this supermarket! They sell many Taiwanese brand, I find every thing I want here. I really appreciate they have the Taiwanese pure honey! They are the only Asian market carry multiple brands of Taiwanese pure honey in whole IL! Best Asian super market in Chicago!”

“I decided to get a little veggie plant from Aldi one day and I saw this little tomato plant just a little baby tiny thing ..I never grew a tomato plant ever but decided to try it just cost a few bucks …but my surprise this little tiny thing turned out to a big huge bushy growing like a weed plant …if u have the patience and time start with a starter plant or grow flowers or veggies from seeds ..cost less (: these pics like 6 weeks till now ….Will buy more #Aldi veggie or flowers products”

“A pretty clean Aldi with a good selection of products. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I especially like the variety of home goods they carry. The checkout lines can get long during busy times, but they usually move along. Overall, it is a convenient place to shop for groceries and household items.”

“I stumbled upon this gem. Their ready-made food is special, clearly made with care, and so delicious. I am new to west African food but I wanted to get fufu banku and suya. lol Eddie the nice man who worked there helped me buy everything and even let me try shito which was this amazing sauce to eat with meat. I really appreciated the kindness in helping introduce me to the food. I can tell there’s a lot of great stuff to try.”
