“I was in town for a half marathon, so I stopped by this cute restaurant/market and I am so glad I did! Extensive menu, friendly owners, but best of all, great food! I ordered their version of the Big Mac and it was so tasty! I will definitely be returning before I leave town.”
“We dine in almost once a week. Everyone working at Karen is so friendly. The pho, pad thai, pad sew, sushi, curry, boba drinks, desserts and everything else we’ve tried have been amazing! The dining room is cozy and relaxed. The grocery side has lots of snacks to try if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary. We’re so happy to have a place like this in Rock Island!”

“I've lived here for over 50 years, had no idea Jerry's even existed and found them while searching for a local meat market. I was a little nervous because I didn't want to disappoint my husband or our guests with the ribeyes for our New Year's Eve dinner and we were not disappointed at all! Definitely a great decision going to Jerry's! Wow! Absolutely amazing! We all agreed it was absolutely one of the best steaks we'd ever had. They cooked phenomenally well on the grill and the seasoning Anthony suggested was perfect. I won't be going to any other meat markets any longer and will absolutely be a lifetime Jerry's Market customer now. Thank you, Anthony, our steaks were perfect!:”

“Nice little store. Things always seem to be well stocked when I've gone, and they have good sales on certain items. I love their bakery items, but recently I've bought some muffins and a flavored loaf that seemed doughy and undercooked. It might not be this location's fault though, but I hope it gets addressed”

“It's impressive that I remember getting bargains at Aldi as a kid. Then for years, I flirted with other supermarkets (usually due to location), but this particular Aldi is a real pleasure to get groceries. And of course, they have deals Galore and excellent produce.”
“As someone in a GSU, I'm so happy to cash in on my DECA-Deals at the Rock Island Arsenal. There are always super cheap red apples and a freezer full of "reduced for quick sale" T-bones! Love this place!”

“I love coming to Supermercado Monarca every time I’m in the area. It’s a great spot to grab authentic Mexican food, and I can’t resist ordering the tacos de tripas every time! They’re always perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The market itself is well-stocked with all the essentials, and the staff is friendly. It’s a great, relaxed place to shop and eat. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for some tasty tacos”
“I love Aldi's and this location is always very clean and well stocked. Prices and sales are always what keep us coming back!!! The Employees are not always the friendliest at any Aldi location and this location was no exception, sadly. They HAVE opened up self check out counters at this location and that is greatly appreciated, because lines can get long at Aldi's often! There is no such thing as a perfect store, but overall, I would give this location a 5 star!!!”

“I’m giving this HyVee 5 stars for one reason only: they carry Gorilla Mind energy drinks, which no other HyVee even in Iowa carries that I have seen. I have even asked other HyVees to get it and have been turned down. I specifically told the manager of this store how impressed I was for them carrying it. As an Iowa resident, I will travel a few extra miles for Gorilla Mind energy drinks as they’re far better than other brand energy drinks. Whoever or whatever manager decided to bring these to this store needs to be publicly recognized.”
“Hy-Vee is an Iowa staple. It's the Publix (but better) of the Midwest. Nice people good selection a bit to pricey but it's well lit clean and inviting. Their pharmacy and health food sections rock.”

“Friend and helpful people, and the store is spacious and clean stocked with a great varieties of food items. Many Indian grocery items, canned goods plus many from South-East Asia and some from European countries. I wish I could purchase more, even just to taste test many of the cookies and noodles. Yet I held back from over indulging my appetite. That should give me a reason to visit the store again for getting other tasty treats. Above all, being friendly to customers is an asset in running a successful business.I aslo noticed the tables of items on sale. When things have been on the shelves but not yet expired, their prices are lowered. Very good buys ?”

“It's Target. What you see is what you get. Checkout lines can be long at times. Definitely more than two people per line, but that is typical of most places "post Covid". Starbucks inside is solid. Inventory diversity is solid but quantities can be low. Produce is hit or miss.”
