“Love the locals! Hung out a couple hours early in the day and everyone talked our ear off! Came back hours later and it was a whole different crowd. Everyone wanted to talk, small town friendly (= strangers in town, someone new)! Good music, loud crowd, we fit right in! Even made the spitoon and scored a free drink! Worth the trip?”

“Well it would be nice if they made a post saying that they're closed temporarily until they get the new gas tanks in they should put something on their website”

“Kwik Star convience stores was a welcome site after traveling 4,000+ miles in the southeast the past two weeks. No chain down there holds a candle to Kwik Star/Kwik Trip when it comes to quality and cleanliness. If you are traveling make Kwik Star/Kwik Trip your go-to stop for gas, food and a clean restroom. Keep up the good work Kwik Star employees! You really do make a difference.”

“Ordered 2 cheeseburgers fully loaded and a fry. The burgers looked hand made and were juicy and delicious. The fries were crinkled cut and a little well done, but still tasty. I will definitely hit them up again before I leave town.”

“They do care! Had a recent issue with being overcharged for pizza and staff not being as customer oriented as they should have been. The owner called me back, looked into it, and called me back again. He was amazing!”

“Always in and out quickly as I'm either stopping on the way to work or on my lunch break... Most of the time anyways. They have the kind of my. Sew that I like when most other gas stations do not. Wide selection of hot food to eat always and the workers are polite happy and overall try to keep everyone moving along. I think I might start getting gas from here as well since I always tend to get gas at another station, a wasted trip. Good gas prices too comparingly.”

“This place is amazing!  Like a gas station, grocery store, and almost a restaurant.

- Double Bacon Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Surprisingly good.  I specifically picked one that was older on the shelf to see how it compared to a newer one (the below one).  It did look a bit disgusting with the bacon and cheese, but it was super delicious for what it is and what you pay.

The burger patties were the star of the show.  They were still plenty moist and full of flavor.  The bacon added to the flavor.  The texture was not too bad for sitting on the shelf for a while.  The bun did well.

- Quarter Pound Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Not as old as the double bacon cheeseburger above.  It was still moist, but not quite as much flavor.  It was still worth the price, though.

You can add condiments and toppings at a station they have there for that purpose.  I added ketchup, mayo, lettuce, and tomato.  The lettuce was a little wilted, but not bad at all.  There was also onion and many other veggies and so on.

The burgers were warm on the shelf and I did not have to heat them.  I just added toppings.

They have basic produce including apples, coffee (checked regularly every 30 minutes), slushies, fountain drinks, doughnuts, muffins, soups, and more.

They also offer hot burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings (bone-in and boneless), brats (beef and cheddar), WHOLE chickens, and more.  You can buy pizza ready to cook (maybe even to cook there?).

They also have a row of auto supplies and fluids.  The bathrooms were nice, too.

I am finding it difficult to think of what they do NOT have.  Wow!

The people were helpful, too.”

“Ordered the medium thin crust taco pizza, and it was perfect. My wife and I don't like a lot of crust and this absolutely fit the bill. The toppings on it were very generous which is something I really like. This is now my fav pizza to order up for us.”

“When you are in hampton and the hunger pains service, Porter is the place to go. I love the pizza ? by the slice or whole one if you like. My buds always get their fried chicken with trimming hot and ready - friendly price.... oh, I almost forgot you can set down eat and watch the news all at Porter's”

“There's gas station to get gas. Shell gas stations are known for gas so if you want to put gas and expect to pay the price for it here is where you go to know what you're getting”

“The pizza last night was good. But beware, it's inconsistent - on time may be good, while another could be raw dough and cold sausage. Depends on who is working.”

“I just recently noted that this convenience store in Rapids City is a QC Mart! This is yet another place I drive by twice every day I'm going to work. On this particular evening I needed some snacks and beverages for an overnight shift at the plant - this was a perfect opportunity to procure those from the QC Mart! The interior of this QC Mart is much the same as many of the others I've visited. There are beverage coolers along the back walls, a few rows of shelves with snacks through the middle of the space, some automotive supplies in one corner, and a coffee/hot beverage station in another. The floor is lined with plain red ceramic tiles, the drop ceiling is a standard mix of diffusers, returns, and florescent lighting. Exactly what one would expect from a convenience store.I got a few Gatorades and some Chex mix and headed up to the register. The attendant was friendly and a bit chatty. We talked a little bit about sodas and rebranding one beverage company was attempting. Really nice guy. I paid for my supplies and left with no further encumbrance or issue.I'd definitely stop here again for drinks and snacks, either going to or coming from work. Thanks again, QC Mart!”

“I really like that this Q C Mart is accessible from the McDonald's next door. That's probably the main reason I ended up stopping by - I really wanted a drink after my ice cream cone at the McD's and the Q C Mart was right there! I love convenience. This specific Q C Mart is like most of the others around the Quad Cities area. There's some car and automotive products in one corner of the store, a coffee station, cold drinks of alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety, and a few shelves of snacks down the center of the space. I selected an orange Gatorade Zero from the cooler for my particular drink.I also happened to use their restroom during this visit. It appears to have been recently redone, with what looked like relatively new floors and fixtures. Maybe some of the other complaints on Google Maps reviews are no longer valid? I'm not sure...I paid for my drink with relative ease and painlessness. The register took Google Pay, which made me happy (not many places left that don't take this, honestly). I then left, back out into the cold winter air to return to my car.I probably won't be back to this part of LeClaire for a while. It's a bit inconvenient to get to this location, what with having to turn off of Highway 67 and onto Eagle Ridge Road and climb the hill. Thanks Q C Mart!”

“Great little convenient store in downtown LeClaire. They have everything from regular convenient storw stuff to wine, beer, and touristy knick knacks...oh they even have an A&W. Right in front of the American Pickers shop and next to police station. Customer service is always good there too.”

“This is a nice Casey's location with the food selections you would expect at a larger location. There was a nice selection a pre-packaged snacks, hot drinks and cold drinks.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options in the pizzas as well as the prepackaged snacks.

Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of kid friendly selections for take-away food.

Parking: There's plenty of parking spots right in front of the store.”

“We ordered 2 pizzas to take to some friends house and we all thought the pizzas were Great! Even leftovers the next day my husband and I had the leftovers and they were still delicious. Great job and wonderful service. The pizzas were a lot better than Princeton and LeClaire. We live in Princeton but we might just order from Port Byron from now on.”
