“I regrettably way over bought fittings for a project. Thinking I was going to frustrate the customer service with the excess of returns, the lady I was working with showed 0 frustrations. As the line behind me grew I started to sweat, but the employee stayed very calm and simply called for help. I was taken care of with great customer service and they quickly worked through the line behind me as I hogged one register. I appreciate their kindness, patience, and professionalism! Thank you!”

“The employees are ALL TOP NOTCH, and friendly. Immediately available to help when walking in the door. They offer good advice when asked. Recently, Kathleen went out of her way when I came in requesting a large box for personal shipping purposes. She said to come back the next day. A lawnmower was unboxed to provide the box I needed. She could have just said they didn't have a box, however, made the extra effort to please a customer. Very impressive. Greg H.”

“I ordered online and order was ready in less than 30 minutes. I arrived to store same day, was greeted lightly at entry but once I made it to pick up counter in back, it was comically inviting with Ken and another associate who was clocking out. I was able to get in on the joke a little but it was cute. Ken was great and helpful with immediately getting my order and confirming, once done he came out and said he would commute it to my car for me. I had questions about other salts and he was very helpful and friendly. Store is clean. Very quite well organized. Highly recommend”

“After looking around at several places, I finally found exactly what I needed — a torsion spring for my garage. 🔧🏠 The store was clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. 👍 Unfortunately, the price was much higher than I expected. I had checked online as well as Home Depot and Menards, where I found a pair of left- and right-wound springs for around $60–$75. Here, I ended up paying over $60 for just one spring. 😕 I really needed it, so I went ahead with the purchase, but the price definitely caught me off guard. Overall, good service and a clean place, but I wish the pricing had been more competitive. 💰”

“Fantastic company with great prices! I recently made a couple orders of approximately 50 small items in each order - various Dewalt products, router bits, and random items. I was amazed how quickly and accurately the order was processed and delivered. They fulfilled the order flawlessly with each and every item I had ordered. The items were priced what I considered very well and delivered quickly. I couldn't compliment this company enough. I would without hesitation recommend Hartmann Variety, plan to order more myself and will recommend to anyone I know needing the sort of items they sell.”

“Courteous, knowledgeable proprietor. Only went in for keys but will be returning for some bigger purchases. Don't let the size of the frontage on 63rd. The store stretches back almost to the alley. It's what a hardware store should look like.”

“I use John’s Hardware whenever I need to purchase tools and supplies. I purchased a used bike and the customer service was rather subpar. After I was finally informed that my bike was ready I tested it and realized the wheels were not aligned properly. I will continue purchasing tools and supplies as needed. Anything related to bicycle’s I’m going to find another bike shop.”
