“Great comfortable and clean experience. I would like to see a little more variety in the breakfast options. I also got woken up every morning around 6:30 by a neighboring guest letting their door slam, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Just be aware if you're very sensitive to noise. I really appreciated how comfortable the bed was and how cold the AC got. I stayed 3 nights and would stay again.”

“They didn't have a gluten free bread option at this location (according to the breakfast attendant) but this is the first time an IHG hasn't had that available in the 4 years I've been staying with the chain. The room was fantastic but housekeeping isn't as meticulous as I was when I cleaned for a living (grease splatter on cupboards, top of fridge dusty, someone else's hair left on bathroom counter and on shower wall and there was a spoon so jammed into the garbage disposal - but visible when cleaning the sink - I couldn't budge it, had to get maintenance). None of that is a big deal to me, just shows they are more about speed; turn the rooms over as quickly as possible rather than being thorough. Bummed I didn't have time to enjoy the pool. I would definitely stay here again, nice place”
“It was a really good deal for the price, sort of like a mini Airbnb. It had a gym, laundry room. The room was spacious enough for 2 people. It had a stove top, dishwasher and full fridge.”

“We stayed here on our way from my Dad's in Northern Wisconsin. We're flying out of O'Hare, heading home to Texas, and wanted to stop along the way. I booked through Expedia on our drive. We had no issues with check-in. The staff was cordial. The room was clean. The hotel is conveniently located to just about anything you could want to eat, as well as plenty of shopping.”
“The location is great & the hotel overall is very clean & looks new. The rooms are also very clean & tidy as well.
Cons:
- No microwaves are available in all rooms. They have one microwave PER floor inside of the ice maker room. You have to share with everyone else on that floor & it was FILTHY, sticky & stained.
- The standing showers look nice but I don't understand why they didn't add the other half of the door. If you are in a room with family, by the time everyone showers, those towel mats aren't helpful enough tp clean up the water on the ground.
- The faucet is annoying being how it sits far from the actual sink & makes it hard to wash hands / use without touching against the sink & it makes a mess when the water overflows all over the countertop. They should fix that..
- Our room had 2 large towels, 2 hand towels & 2 washcloths. If you have a party of more than 2, the towels should match that & there should be extra to clean the water that spills from the terrible shower & sink faucet.
We had to catch the housekeeper to ask for more towels & he was very kind to give more, but this should not be the norm considering the flawed design of the bathroom.
- TV's don't have the option to stream & you are limited to whatever cable channels they have available.
My biggest con was how they do not have the usual free continental breakfast like all other Holiday Inn hotels do.
Instead, the hotel has its own resturaunt & they indirectly force you to order & pay for each plate per person--- for about THE SAME foods that they have in continental breakfasts that are usually FREE. They know that when someone wakes up, they will not want to go out and drive to get food, so they give this as an option.
Oh, Also the resturaunt opens for breakfast (7-10am) & dinner (5-8pm) but not for lunch??
The time when someone would actually be willing to eat there is when they close down--- makes no sense to me.
Overall, the cleanliness & oderliness is great & the staff are helpful too--- shout out to housekeeping for giving extra towels & keeping the place clean. But i took 1 star for the cons mentioned above.
The hotel is hilton quality, but the way they manage it & lack core amenities is probably why they don't get alot of customers --- the parking lot is very empty during the day & isn't full at night either. This should have been a huge sign to management to listen to customers & change what needs to be changed. I hope they can take critique & make amendments if they want to thrive down the line.”

“My stay at the Four Points Sheraton Chicago Schaumburg exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The whole team was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help me with deliveries I needed to attend an expo. The location was good for attendance at Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center (a short Uber ride away). The local mall and Whole Foods were about a 20 minutes walk. I felt safe walking around after dark.”
“I am so pleased that your hotel was able to help turn a negative situation (a cancelled flight in my layover city) into a beautiful experience. The staff couldn’t have been kinder, friendlier or more helpful.
Ravi, the manager, was especially accommodating. When I missed the last shuttle of the day he offered to take me to the airport in his personal car and wouldn’t accept a tip!

“The staff are polite, professional, and respectful. The hotel room overall was large and clean. Only found 1 piece of hair in the bathroom floor but the room is very clean. The breakfast was not bad and better than most hotels I have been. The bed was great, but I didn't like the pillow. The pillow wasn't firm enough for me. I felt safe. This location is awesome. Many great stores and restaurants near by which was very convenient.”

“Staff was great, room was perfect for my needs and the rate was reasonable. My only issue, which I forgot to mention at the desk at checkout, was there were a few ants in the room on night one. It was maybe half a dozen on the floor, but I cleaned them up and never saw any again. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Great water pressure in my room and no issues with temp like others have mentioned.
Altogether, a good experience for my first trip to the Chicago area.”

“We had a great stay at the Sonesta ES Suites in Schaumburg. The location is excellent, located conveniently in Schaumburg, about 30-40 mins from Downtown Chicago, and right near a large mall, also lots of restaurants nearby. We loved the amenities of this hotel, we stayed over Labor Day weekend and the outdoor pool was great, it was heated, and our kids also loved the basketball court. The room could’ve used some updates, but it was very practical: two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, it worked well for our family of four. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen and access to grills, we enjoyed being able to cook our own meals. Some downfalls: I will say the pillows were quite lumpy and flat, and one night, we could hear our neighbors above us like a herd of elephants. We called the front desk and they handled it promptly. The continental breakfast was excellent: scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and more. For the price we paid, it was a good deal, and we’d stay again.”

“Was looking for a hotel close to training facility. This place was close by. Strange front desk experience. Not the most energetic crew. Weird energy. Large hotel that offers breakfast for $15/ea unless part of your package. Food is average to a holiday inn continental. Restaurant and bar open 5-9. I traveled with 4 other co-workers. Room layout was the same, but 3 of us had different shower setups. Oldy but goody if you're looking for a solid place. (rooms have windows to the hallways, now covered).”

The location is perfect as you walk 5-10 mins you are greeted with a town center mall. Location is near the highway if you plan to drive to local restaurants just located near this hotel”
